  1. If I had to guess I'd say we're trading 12 & 96 to get to 8 with Chicago and then 8, 22, 53, 61 to get to 2 with the Giants. Would leave us with 2, 56, 121, 166, 187
  2. I think it's a 3 way trade with another team in the top 8. Beane mentioned being wary of trading up to 7 or 8 and then being "stuck" if you can't keep going higher. Seems like there's something going down that requires 3 teams to act simultaneously.
  3. This is pretty much exactly what I want. Just switch McGlinchey and VanderEsch maybe
  4. I want Mayfield/Rosen, 2 LBs and 2 OL in the draft. That is all.
  5. Isn't the phrase actually To Hell With...? I feel like you were listening to Pistol Annies when you wrote this. I think the OP is a big fan.
  6. I love this site, but this would never happen
  7. This seriously screws us. We now need LG, RG, RT, ILB, OLB just to field a competitive team. If we trade up for a QB prepare for a line-heavy draft the rest of the way.
  8. I don't want that kid on our team. Only a matter of time before he actually gets busted for drugs.
  9. Thanks for that 26, college was so long ago I'd forgotten what the taste of morning bile in my throat was like.
  10. THEY ARE NOT GETTING PAID to work out and are covered only by insurance policies. You're reacting to the wrong issue.
  11. This is just restating speculation that has been around for a while.
  12. Thanks for this. I agree with his assessment for the most part. Makes trading UP more palatable if you're looking at giving up a pick outside of the top 19 guys cause the talent doesn't correspond to their draft position. This is definitely a draft to make moves to get your guy if you see someone you like early and trade back in the late 1st to acquire more picks.
  13. SBnation is not the most reputable of sources OP. I see you're catching some flak for posting this (it does seem like you're just posting things that back up your already established opinion, but that's not really a unique thing here so I won't complain about that). It would probably be a better idea to back up your position with articles from actual professionals and not a website whose content is amateur at best. When you see Scouts Inc has the top 4 prospects at QB graded in the 90s, this article from Bill Connelly, who is not even a professional writer, doesn't really hold that much water.
  14. You're super gross and this post outs you as a scumbag. What kind of animal wishes death on someone else?
  15. Title sounds lewd. I didn't know the OP was into that.
  16. The problem with this drawn out draft process is that you start developing an attachment to certain players and your team can't draft everyone you like. Baker is this kind of player for me this year. We could draft any of the other top 4 QBs and I would be bummed we didn't draft this kid.
  17. Doesn't look like the guy has an actual job in the business but thinks changing his avatar to the NFL draft logo somehow gives him some more cred.
  18. I'm pretty happy with this one
  19. Better than another 17 years without one
  20. I have a question for all of you who are super against trading up and it's not sarcastic, I'd genuinely like to get some insight here. Were you around for the Jim Kelly Bills? I don't mean were you 5 and have barely any memory, I mean were you old enough to be going to games and actually have a sense of what a winning team means.
  21. Ugh. The first draft ever was held in Feb. I wish they didn't feel the need to spread everything out too much and the draft could just happen the first week of April, this whole spreading out the offseason is such a pain.
  22. Someone send the OP a participation trophy and a box of tissues asap. Regardless if his actual age, this is a classic millennial snowflake breakdown, everyone follow your training.
  23. I watched every one of his games and I think he will be better in the pros than he was in college for the reasons you listed.
