  1. @Thurmanator 12074 - Hi Chris Trapasso. Your crusade is awful
  2. He's a more thin-skinned Tim Graham with a quarter of the writing talent.
  3. He's very good. He also is refusing to drop his asking price and is insulted that teams think they can "offer her a below market contract" because there hasn't been much demand for his services. Vaccaro is pretty much doing the same thing refusing to drop his price, that's why there are good safeties sitting around unsigned. We're not paying 7M+ to another safety when we have 2 pro bowl caliber ones.
  4. I live out of the country - buffalo wings here are the worst.
  5. Very true. OP in the future it would be a good idea to not seemingly post an opinion as news you're reporting. Thanks!
  6. Signature bet? Loser has to change their signature on this board to anything the winner wants til the next draft.
  7. The title of this thread is intentionally misleading
  8. I love the curmudgeons who call him a punk. He's intense and that pushes him to be excellent. I have no problem with his attitude at all.
  9. Thanks for this info.
  10. My housemate in college got drunk and then smoked at a friend's house. I had a test the next day and was trying to get some sleep when I discovered him trying to climb up the drain pipe in front of our house to get into a window on the second floor. We all yelled at him and made him get down and come in the front door - he claimed aliens were coming to get him and he fully bloodied his hand trying that climb. Found out he had his keys in his pocket the whole time. I've known that guy for 15 years and have never seen him do anything crazy since that isolated incident. Sometimes you do too much and your wires cross and you're just screwed.
  11. This is terrible. It's 100% a tainted drug and I find it terrifying this seemingly nice kid was so out of it he tried to jump out of a 30th story window as a result. The people who are ripping on him as a draft pick at this point in this thread are frankly gross people, this is a moment to show some actual humanity.
  12. Dansby won't feel out of place in the locker room at least. I hear the cafeteria has an "over 30 section" now that serves soft foods exclusively and the locker room has a tv dedicated solely to Murder She Wrote and Golden Girls re-runs.
  13. I'd prefer if this thread didn't turn into another argument about Peterman or just generally tearing people's opinions down whether that be posters here or the author. The thing I took from the article that I've been of the same mind of is that our FO likely has not made a decision on which of the QBs they want. I don't doubt they have the players ranked and fully scouted, but I really thing Beane and McDermott will put a lot of stock on the face to face meetings at the private workouts, which I don't believe have taken place yet. That's all.
  14. Draft picks are so overvalued. Sometimes I wish we could just ship 3 1st rounders out to a team for a proven franchise QB and be done with it.
  15. I disagree with him, but I generally respect him. I met him at a tailgate a while back and spent a decent amount of time talking to him about the Bills. He was very logical in his analysis and just a generally nice guy so I'm probably more likely to give him a pass on that - nobody bats 1,000.
  16. I would agree with this grudgingly if there were some highly touted generational talents at LB/DT available that everyone was drooling over, but there are not. There are projected solid starters and that's about it.
  17. I like Greg Gabriel. I respect his opinion and his history as a talent evaluator. Found this article and thought people might enjoy it: https://www.buffalosportspage.com/gabriel-jets-trade-effect-on-bills/
  18. Well put OP. There is too much fear on this board. Fear of staying put, fear of trading up, fear we'll pick the wrong guy. The only thing you can do when picking a QB is minimize risk as much as you possibly can and then roll the dice.
  19. 7 pages on THIS guy? Compton led the team in total missed tackles, gave up the most yards per play among Washington’s inside linebackers on his team, and allowed the highest completion percentage on plays into his coverage. - PFF
  20. I like Jeremiah and I'd take his opinion on the matter over anyone other than maybe Mayock.
  21. Come on now. Bodine is an average backup just due to his experience. Newhouse I'll give you.
  22. This usually works. It's always good practice as a newcomer to tell the people who have been somewhere for years to leave because you and your 4 months of experience on the board are annoyed that people complain when you don't comply with the basic rules of the board. You sound like a guy who gets invited to dinner and then publicly berates the host for not planning the meal around your gluten intolerance.
