  1. OK guess I'm looking at it more fro ma real football mindset, not fantasy. But for the same reasons then fantasy wise, think I'd then still have Jackson ahead of Murray
  2. First off I'm not one to get all excited whenever the Bills are slighted in any way. Fir the most part, who cares. But was just reading Sporting News Fantasy QB rankings and kind of amazed #1 Mahomes No surprise there #2 Murray #3 Allen #4 Wilson #5 Jackson Murray at #2, that to me is crazy based on what he's done so far. I'd put Allen, Wilson and Jackson ahead of him at this point and I'm no fan of Jackson. Their thinking with Allen ranked #3 is that the Bills will run more, but still seems crazy that they think Murray will do at that much in total to rank him #2 IMO Diggs is the #3 WR BTW Bass #9 of kickers. Actually that one could understand a bit based on the rate the Bills scored TD's at Knox #31 ranked TE https://www.sportingnews.com/us/fantasy/list/2021-fantasy-qb-rankings/1swg07d1544451ewt40m2pwyka/4
  3. But are there other positions where the Pats and Fish are thinner than the Bills? You have to have some weaker positions than others, every team does, it's just a question of where. Personally I'd vote more for picking up a vet for depth on the offensive line. To me that looks worse. On the other hand O lineman rarely come out of the game other than for injury while secondary are always going in and out. But would like to see better experienced depth at OT.
  4. It's training camp. I'm sure if we'd been in the middle of the regular season, he'd have played every game and got a couple of practices in each week. Now who cares. So yeah, get him back next week for some work, he'll be all set to go about the time they cut down to 53. Yes McD sounded concerned, but likely due to specifically being asked abut it, so he said yes we want to get him back out there soon.
  5. From a post 2 hours ago, to a post 38 minutes ago, this thread took a 180. Damm the internet for giving us all this information
  6. You can also argue a good team doesn't let their opponent back into games when up by double digits like the Bills did against the Rams and think it was the Raiders. Granted in the 2nd half of the season they did a better job of beating teams up pretty good, but I'm sure KC fans wouldn't be too worried about this. Having said that, I will say teams typically don't have that many consecutive good years, so that's in favor of KC falling off, but could also make that argument for the Bills too. Considering how easily they beat the Bills twice, makes your post is a pretty laughable argument.
  7. Well somehow too, it looked like she ended up with her top ripped off. I'd say she should have been arrested for extremely indecent exposure. Glad to see security was all over it. Or maybe that was security?
  8. I'd love to read Beane's mind and find out, if he had known he was going to draft two DE with his first two picks, would he have restructured Addison and Butler? I voted for Johnson as right now he seems lowest on the pecking order, but wouldn't be completely shocked if it was Addison that was cut. Every year there's always one surprising cut; McCoy, Hause.
  9. Yes! that was the name I was trying to recall
  10. I tend to agree with most of your comments I think Jones and Zimmer are heading down the wrong side of the roster bubble, in Jones case there are others that can fill his role, but also provide other playing time opportunities too. For the O line, I think in the next 2 to 3 weeks Doyle will somehow get hurt and end up on IR. (As we speak Beane has a call into Tonya Harding to discuss.) At that point a combination of spare DL and WR are traded for good backup tackle and Hart is then also gone. Completely agree with concept that Beane isn't going to want to rookies as the only backup tackles on the team Take away the tenth O lineman, could bring Jones, another WR back instead. Think with 10 DL, not sure six LB's are needed. Not sold on Hamlin making the roster either, think it's the other guy, can't recall his name makes the roster instead.
  11. Regarding #5 & 6, the punter Haack; I've commented before, I wonder if a big reason Bojo is gone is because yes he wanted more money and sounds like didn't want to commit for 3 years. But I wonder if a bigger thing was they didn't like Bojo's holding on kicks. How many times were the laces pointed the wrong way both on kicks missed and even some made ones. On others was the ball spot off maybe an inch or two from where Bass was expecting it? Bojo just wasn't very consistent??
  12. Pretty sure Diggs and Allen are going
  13. Agree on the IR, and think there may be more than one. Heard Hodgins hurt his knee a bit. I'll bet right now he's confused why the training staff is telling him, we want to test your reflexes a bit on your knee, and they keep hitting it with a 5 pound sledge. Agree too could see a spare D lineman and/or WR get traded for better line help. Or would they even package Doyle and say DL for better backup tackle. Maybe other team wants a cheaper 9th lineman on the roster. I see the three O lineman cut were three that dressed Friday night, but didn't play one snap.
  14. A better place for this would have been in the Overreaction Saturday thread! I highly doubt anyone on this board follows every team and has as much access to information at the same level as they do to the Bills, so very easy to have a very large bias for good or bad in regards to anything Bills related.
  15. Watching the game last night, I thought the same thing.
  16. The biggest question to me will be how are the RB's used. There's all this talk of how Breida adds a speed element. But will it be like last year and only two are active on game days. If so then his speed adds no value. Or will that be changed up and activate a 3rd RB at the expense of some other position having one less? Moss is more a power back so again even if their plan was to alternate who's inactive depending on the game plan without all three active, you don't have all the elements. Breida and Moss in particular each add a different element. Not sure what Singletary offers from a unique standpoint??
  17. Hope she doesn't secretly visit Two Bills Drive! Maybe she's the person who always rips anything you post!
  18. I'd go with: WR Lance Lenoir Either of the bottom two DT's listed CB O Griffin One of the bottom 3 or 4 O lineman DE Mike Love only because he has no shot at making the team, so let him go early and maybe he can catch on somewhere else
  19. So where did Campbell come from, what's his deal? Know people on this board don't seem to like the guy very much.
  20. I won't say good/bad but instead call them concerns. First off one comment on one of the Lions kickers, does he also play LB?? He could. I wonder on kickoffs, do they tell him kick the ball then go break up the wedge. From the size of him, think he could. (and yes that has been outlawed) Backup OT is a concern in a number of ways. Thought Doyle, Brown and particularly Hart looked shaky. The issue though to me is how do they handle the numbers there. Assume they keep the two rookies on the 53, do they really want to have to carry 5 OT's on the roster? I believe Bates can play some tackle, but not sure how well, but still may be better than these three. Or do they take a chance and cut Doyle and hope to get him onto the PS? But even then who's the back up that's reliable? Maybe a trade of one of our surplus DL or WR and throw in Doyle for a good back up OT as that also solves the numbers issue? Or does Doyle get a paper cut and ends up on IR? Think there may be a couple of these questionable IR moves made to breakup the log jam, or trades. Admittedly without knowing blocking schemes, hard to totally fault one person, but it didn't look very good. I tend to agree with Gunner in that Webb looked too good last night to sneak onto the PS. What impressed me about him was his poise. He doesn't have the physical skills, but won't seem to make dumb mental mistakes. I was kind of surprised too how long they played him. Could it be the Bills are trying to give the guy a break and show cased him either for a trade or if he is released to give him a good shot at sticking somewhere else? If we're down to the 3rd string QB, we're in trouble anyway so maybe it doesn't matter. Or they sign his replacement off the Sept releases. Don't know what TV in Western NY was on, but for me out of town was the NFL network. As normally done the broadcasters are the home crew. I get it, it saves some money in meaningless pre-season games. So if people in Buffalo have to watch the Detroit guys so be it, could always turn on the Bills radio broadcast too. I'm assuming those were the Bills crew?? But you'd think the NFL network would say these games are being broadcast coast to coast, we'll use your local crew, but you have to at least give the line ups for the visiting teams and state who made the play, catch, run, tackle, etc. and pretend you at least know something about them. In two weeks likely the Bills crew will be broadcasting back to Green Bay, I wonder if they are also this bad with ignoring the visiting team? And then with 15 seconds left at exactly 10:00 right when Bass is lining up for the kick, they had to switch to the Cowboy-Cardinal game as God forbid a Dallas fan might miss the opening kickoff. They did switch back just in time to see the kick, but then immediately back to Dallas. If Detroit had ran the kickoff back for a TD, I never would have known. Normally on Sunday games, showing the ending of a game takes president over the opening kickoff.
  21. 20 years ago I'd have gladly taken a bet with anyone that: Peyton Manning will be a bust Tom Brady will be a bust As long as I could also take the field and make 30 other bets, one per team <Insert name here> will be a bust As I know I'd come out ahead money wise on all those bets if I took the field. I will say these days, not so sure I'd make that bet anymore as there seems to be a resurgence in good QB's. Not sure why??
  22. OK so other than it sounds like they kind of had this established secret code, kind of everything you can also get at McDonald's also IF you ask. Maybe they smile more when you order it differently whereas McDonalds does nothing other than to encourage the standard.
  23. So what's in the secret menu? I understand if you give me the answer, you'll have to kill me, but I accept. So far about 2/3 of the replies I've got think In and Out is great, so guess I'm in the minority, but honestly just didn't think it was anything different than McDonald's other than the slice of tomato was much redder in color.
  24. So your wife likes the long road? Hmm....
