  1. Imagine Fitz with Allen's arm!! What that could have done for years.
  2. I think in his eventual retirement, he's planning to resurrect the Gieco Cave man commercial starring --- him
  3. He also can not sign with the Colorado Buffalo's either, though not positive as that is plural? Or the Buffalo Braves are also out!
  4. He's on IR before season started so his only options are Bills IR for entire season, or take an injury settlement from the Bills which then makes him a FA and can immediately sign a contract with any team NOT named Buffalo. After a certain amount of time, someone stated 6 weeks (I thought it was all season) the Bills could resign him either to the 53 or the PS.
  5. Are his MRI results posted in a separate thread or did I miss it above??
  6. The one knock on Zimmer is he's undersized. Granted he may be one of these guys who proves all the measurable's wrong, will see.
  7. Could be IR for 3 weeks or the year, or could just be another camp body to handle returns for this week or the next couple if a bit longer. We'll see soon I guess.
  8. Thought Milano was also on the Covid list of being sent home?? So guess these are just bodies for Saturdays game. With some many players out now, wonder if Josh will even play Saturday or will sit him to be safe??
  9. My guess is someone pushed the wrong button and thought OK Syracuse is in Bills local domain so we can't show the game here as instead will be on local channel, except it wasn't. Kind of like Monday night games on ESPN are also shown on local station but only in flagship cities of teams playing, not in secondary markets like Rochester, Cuse, etc. Always made me mad as back in the blackout days Rochester was considered the Bills market so games would be blacked out if not sold out, but all of a sudden we're not in the market for Monday night games to be shown local TV station.
  10. Brings back memories of JP Losman getting a broken leg in training camp on hit, think it may have even been out of bounds and also think it was by a safety?? Was it Troy Vincent
  11. If Allen has another season like last year, he's pass Mahomes in a number of these categories like arm strength. Mahomes certainly has a much larger body of work to go by. Allen has only one less season, but his first two seasons weren't all that good considering everything. Last year at this time he wouldn't have even been in the discussion, now he is, give him another year and he and Mahomes could be one and two in just about every category with Allen likely ahead in things like arm strength.
  12. Yes I get it for TE, but just saying he's no longer with Jax, he's released. We can offer Jax Josh Allen and we're not getting Tebow back in return as he's not not on the team.
  13. Tebow was released last week.
  14. I'd have thought that too, but usually guys that go to PS are cut in the last round. Too much time for them to find a new home. Particularly since many teams may be looking for some bodies to play in this weeks upcoming pre-season games.
  15. Yeah and think then once they reach an reach an injury settlement, he can't come back to the team that waived/IR'd him
  16. Yeah, I know if he placed on IR then given and injury settlement, he's a FA and can sign with any team except the Bills for the rest of the season. Not sure if waived/injured is considered the same thing and has the same rules or not??
  17. Can he? I know if you're released from IR with an injury settlement, the one team you can not resign with is the team that released you. Not certain if a "waived/injury designation" is completely different or same restrictions?
  18. Well I believe we did get a draft pick for AJ McCarron so anything is possible. If Fromm were released, one of the places higher on his list likely would be Atlanta, (I'm making a big assumption here since he went to Georgia, he's from the south??) so from that standpoint Atlanta could wait us out. The only risk to them is some other team also is interested in him and does instead work out a trade with the Bills beforehand.
  19. I don't think either Kumerow or Stevenson would make it through waivers so to me that point doesn't matter. They both contribute to ST but in a much different way. Unless they keep Powell which to me is very unlikely, they probably would like to have a backup return man to McKenzie if needed on Sundays so that's in Stevenson's favor. However at this point Kumerow IMO brings more to the table as a WR than Stevenson. Considering McKenzie is a return man, they may feel the need to spell him more as the WR. Would they want to use him on 1st down after just returning say a 30 yard punt or kickoff? For that reason, they may want Kumerow. Considering overall how pass happy the team is and their TE spot is not the strongest, to me keeping 7 WR isn't the dumbest idea particularly when you look at how strong the group is top to bottom. Defense can't say, "oh good Davis is out this play, we have the advantage". Believe they led the league in plays with 4 WR's?? Fans have always gone gaga over Duke (Kiko 2.0) but don't recall hearing or reading about the players and coaches gushing over Duke they way they are about Kumerow. There was some, but not at this level from what I recall.
  20. One thing to keep in mind per the rules,is they have to keep 8 active on the game day roster or dress one less player so if only 8 on the 53 that means all must dress even if someone is a little nicked up. Could then require more roster moves then to bring someone up and expose someone else. Having that 9th lineman on the 53 gives them some flexibility there. The only saving grace is Bates can play just about anywhere on the line if needed. Think that rule change a couple years back makes most teams carry nine to be safe.
  21. Agree with most of it except I'd keep Obada over Johnson. If he were on the Bills last year, he'd have led the team in sacks. Or maybe keep both and go with one less LB. Do we really need six LB's when they rarely even play with three on the field other than 1st down? Obada also is playing ST. I'd also be fine with letting T Jones go. Just feel overall they can't keep so many ST aces when they don't contribute to other phases of the game too and expect to improve the roster overall
  22. Injury settlement means he is released and can sign a contract with any team except Buffalo. I thought there may have been a little extra cash involved too.
  23. So are you saying Phillips is on the 53, then gets moved to IR and Butler also makes the initial 53?? No problem with doing any of that but if they both make the final 53 by my count you now have 26 on defense and a total of 54. I counted 3 times. Or is Butler one of these who gets added after the initial 53? Does he have enough years in the league to not be subject to waivers? I think he does??
  24. OK I guess I missed that one. Yesterday watching the Bills game on NFL network, they just kept showing 40 thru 100
  25. So if this is 21 to 30, where's 31 to 40?? Haven't seen that one yet.
