  1. Biggest issue I have is Griese never shuts up.
  2. Think they may have just lost another one the way the one guy went down holding his knee
  3. I'll probably get blasted for suggesting this but all along I've felt the roster may still be one year away from being able to win the SB. This off season between decrease in salary cap and other $$ issues, they were very limited in what they could do to improve the roster very much. Both lines would need to show big improvement this year to win now. At this point I'm more worried about the O-Line. Next year they are supposed to have more money to use to improve the offensive line. Sign the top FA guard and center out there. Also give one full year for all the young blood on D line to improve and get rid of some of the bad contracts there too. Maybe sign a top replacement for Star. Draft a legit #2 CB in the first round. What FA does Carolina have coming up this off season?? LOL
  4. You must be old! You've never taken "New Math" in school!
  5. Do wonder if part of Allen's problem was he was keeping one eye on the rush all game as they were in his face so much of the time. He also was careless with the ball the way he was carrying it. Think most of his issues are more mental than anything else, needs to calm down. Line does worry me, think Dawkins is still not back to 100 from Covid. What I don't know is it strength or stamina? If it's stamina, then maybe every 6 or 7 plays, sub in Brown. If it's strength, then may need to just play Brown all game for another week or two.
  6. I just looked at the team stats. If I didn't know who won the game, I'd have guess the Bills crushed them. 79 to 55 plays, 371 to 252 yards to mention a couple. The only stats not significantly favoring the Bills were 2 TO' s though 2 isn't excessively high for a game. What Pitt did with the one though was a back breaker. The other one was penalties, but even that wasn't a huge difference. The one other stat that would have made me raise an eye brow was 51 pass attempts. That usually doesn't happen when a team wins a game (or even loses)
  7. Think you might want to visit the eye doctor. Completely agree on the 1st two. Holding on the Int could go either way.
  8. Wonder how much #2 caused #3? Did Allen have one eye on the blocking in front of him all day? Do wonder if Dawkins is not recovered fully from Covid and just doesn't have 100% of his strength back? Was it 4 holding calls? Agree completely on Allen's lack of ball protection. Last year he got away with it for the most part.
  9. So how'd they win 13 games last year with basically the same team except swap out Sanders for Brown. Well can't really swap him out as Brown hardly played last season. Those guys are better than ours?? If they are it's not all that noticeable and how's their #3 and #4 compare to ours? Give him a little time, Davis can become as good as any of these other teams #2 WR core isn't our problem. Biggest issue I saw today was O line and Allen playing like he did 2 years ago, except playing like that against Steeler's defense isn't going to work. Maybe the lines troubles caused Allen's issues, don't know? Do wonder if Dawkins just doesn't have all his strength or speed or something back from his Covid episode. Was it 4 holding calls on him?
  10. OK I'll play along with the Etrz rumors, lets say it were to happen: Aren't salaries guaranteed for vets if they are on the roster week 1? So if the Eagles were to trade Ertz to Buffalo, would we then have to honor his existing contract?? And if the Eagles were to cut him after Sunday, wouldn't he then be due his full salary from them?
  11. That's probably the downside of having an E. Elliott on your team. It makes it harder to justify throwing earlier. In that respect may have been better off not drafting Etienne as would have put more emphasis on running.
  12. That's a pretty STIFF penalty! HARD to believe that's what they did.
  13. I'd have put the guy the K gun was named for Keith McKeller on the 53, maybe cut one lineman. How can you leave the legend of Kiko off the all time roster??
  14. Don't think I can edit the title of a post, if I could I'd change it to Kelly was tougher than Brady. That would be the one thing that's true, the rest is just wishful thinking or dreaming.
  15. Oh my God, he's being disrespectful. This really hurts my feeling, probably more even than he hurt your feelings! I may cry.
  16. with a link that long, it has to be a long story!
  17. I said it somewhat in jest, but I do believe the statement is somewhat true. My friend has used the same site for probably 4 years now with no issues, other than the very occasional buffering. But the quality of these sites has improved dramatically over the years that you can watch an entire game with no buffering, hang ups, or having to restart the stream. I will say the opener against Pitt may have some buffering as usually the first week of the season has some opening game jitters for the streamers too and Pitt or NY are very popular teams so more followers.
  18. For about $60 for the year, I have a "CBS AlI Access" subscription, actually now called Paramount, experimented with the VPN method last week and was able to access CBS buffalo station. Actually didn't even use an actual VPN program just changed my location within the browser software. There was a set of detailed instructions posted here last year on how to do that. Not that I'd ever do this myself, but according to a good friend of mine there illegal sites are actually pretty good, very little bufferings anymore, and pretty reliable. But you just need to know which are the good legit illegal sites to use.
  19. Considering he missed 6 games, 2 other games he combined for one reception, and not once he gained 100 yards, the answer is NO. Agree too with the "Speed is over rated " group. If they need speed then throw Stevenson out there, by week 4 he'll likely be back. Recall last year calculating the difference between Browns fastest 40 times and G Davis. On a 40 yard fly pattern the difference n speed equated to Brown being about 5 feet further down the field. For that 5 feet to matter though, the CB needs to not be able to keep up with him and more importantly the pass has to be perfectly thrown for him to catch it on a dead run. Think the biggest reason long passes aren't completed all that often is the throw isn't perfect.
  20. Has good content, sometimes the articles are little longer than I'd like. Just give me the Cliff notes version, but overall good stuff.
  21. Was just reading the article on BN about Beane's press conference and it quoted him some. He was talking about the injuries of the players So my question is what is the significance between a red or blue practice jersey? Does one mean you can hit him in the ding ***** and the other you can't?
  22. Agree the WR are going to gain more yards per catch than the TE would
  23. Yeah I think the intent of the rule was for the max 21 days part. It prevented a team to take a guy like Stevenson, placing him on IR, then after 3 weeks he comes back to practice, but the Bills just say, nope he's not ready yet, but we'll have him keep practicing with us all season. By next year he should be fine! LOL So after 21 days of practice they either bring him back to the 53 man roster or back to IR. What I don't know if they decide to send him back to IR is it now season ending or after missing another 3 active games, could they start another 21 day window? I'm sure at least one player in the league within that fist 21 day practice period did have a legit set back and needed more time to recover.
