Who has been our best player so far?
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Knox may be the most unexpected on this list, at least by many posters here. But agree he should be on the list. -
Yeah read about Edmunds after I posted

While I agree with the overall question in the post in that Allen is struggling I'd say your answer is also total BS! Every contract signed by a top player is going to be larger than prior contracts so that means little. At this point in time who has pocketed more money life time Brady or Allen? If the answer is Brady, then the posters comment about Brady's early years is valid

Since I posted my question, read that Edmunds was out of game towards end so that was likely why Klein was playing. Read Edmunds was getting an IV on sideline.

Dawkins is understandable, but why is Williams different? Mongo shouldn't be any different, but can think of 15 reasons he may be struggling some. Maybe he needs to start drinking double milkshakes every day.

Taron Johnson extension. When and how much?

I'd say no! When you look at Bills team good likelihood they draft a CB next year fairly high as not too many other positions are in need. O-Line and LB, but probably not starters so can go a little lower. If they draft a CB in the 1st round, then guys like Wallace and Jackson both demote a step so one of them could fill that role. As also stated not likely he'll get big $$'s elsewhere and Bills could always sign a FA too for that role. -
The one thing I couldn't figure out, Klein played a fair amount today. Was someone else not playing or just a case or rotating much more because of the heat. Last week he had zero snaps.

Don't disagree with you, but can't explain what is different than last year when this concept seemed to work well. Same line and pretty much same WR group. While we're talking about studs, not that I'd go quite that far, but Knox played another strong game. Good catch on the TD, got some good yards after catch and likely prevented an INT on the over throw by Allen. Think the CB dropped it after being hit by a Mack truck, i.e. Knox. Granted it wasn't that Knox sought him out, just being in the right place at the right time, but was a hard hit. Also think I saw him have a good block on Moss TD run too.

Why not put Allen on the punt team…?

Watching the Miami Mich St game in Miami. They were just saying it's 90 degrees, and no shade, players are taking Oxygen. Should be interesting tomorrow. -
Highmark Stadium now requiring vaccination for entry

Actually there are are few grades of stainless steel that are magnetic mostly in the "400" series, one of the toughest 440 is only magnetic after hardening. Think most flatware is made from 13/0 which is a cheap variety with zero nickel content. It appears most stainless's with low to no nickel content are the magnetic ones and are somewhat close to being a plain steel. Think some flatware is even made from plain steel with a chrome plating or EN plating or something over it. PS, the people in the video I saw, pretty certain they were NOT eating high class! -
Highmark Stadium now requiring vaccination for entry

The best one I heard was that people who got vaccinated became magnetized. They weren't able to eat dinner anymore because their knife and fork would stick to their chest. -
This!! 20 years ago, Bruce DeHavan could just tell Frank Reich, stay an extra 1/2 hour after practice to work on kicks. Or even if not after practice, much more and longer practice times back then so could get away with it. Not sure about this, but wonder if also back then did the 1st string QB's tend to hold in college more, so when they got to NFL and now were no longer the starter, they still had experience at holding??
