  1. Even Nick Wright is now praising him.
  2. May be true, but doubt McKenzie sees it that way. Likely he blames Mcd. McD's comments after the one game where he kind of called out McKenzie also didn't help. So wouldn't be surprised if he is all in on moving on even if means taking a little less money. IMO be surprised if he's back, but hope he is.
  3. Article just the other day in some publication was about how Allen has called tails 9 straight times prior to yesterdays game and tails came up every time. Odds were 512:1. If he had won again yesterday would have been over 1000:1 in his favor. But instead he lost twice in a row.
  4. Not sure cutting Star is worth it with a $7.7 Mil cap hit. Think even if he retires hit is the same unless he's one of the very few NFL players thta elects to give back money he's already been given. Signing Edmunds to long term deal also frees up money. I know many here want him cut, but that's a $12.7 mil cap hit so not going to happen. Likely option unless thye can find a team to trade him to would be sign him to deal. I'd try and resign Phillips, Bates, Wallace, Obada, McKenzie, and maybe Zimmer
  5. Not sure that anyone could sack Mahomes, Chiefs are #4 in league of least sacked. Do wonder if Bills strategy was to contain him, don't let him take off and run, he still did a couple times but limited, but don't rush too hard where if you miss he's gone. Idea was surround him and give him him no escape but he'd then find open man to pass to. To me one of the differences between Allen and Mahomes is, they are both great at avoiding being sacked, can then scramble to give more time to find the open man to pass to and can both take off and run when no one open or plenty of room to run. But think Mahomes does a better job of finding that open guy and passing where as Allen will take off running a little sooner than Mahomes would. Mahomes scrambles but does a better job of still scanning field. But he also has more experience both in NFL and college. May be an area Allen can improve in??
  6. So they actually said the odds of him winning a tenth straight tonight would have been 2 raised to the 10th power which is less than one in a thousand (don't have my calculator handy)
  7. To me three things hurt KC play calling much more creative on offense in particular the middle part of the game Offensive line wasn't holding up very well also in middle part of game mainly Couldn't bring Mahomes down, but not sure anyone can easily do that as he is very elusive.
  8. I keep reading we should have squibbed it. To me a squib kick is one that goes about 20 to 30 yards down the middle of the field We do that, clock doesn't start till KC player touches it. So he catches it and immediately goes down. Now they have ball at maybe 35 or 40 and play takes 1 maybe at most 2 seconds off clock. Kicking it high and short, agree would have made sense as would have forced KC to return it. But things can go wrong even then. To me bigger issue was rushing 4 Instead rush 2 or 3, let Mahomes scramble all around then burning up time. Do like the defense holding 5 yard penalty idea, unless that could be ruled unsportsmanlike conduct if deliberate??
  9. Funny too, read article that Allen hadn't lost coin toss on road all season, tonight lost two.
  10. It seemed like the rushers on the Bills were afraid to commits to bring him down for fear of him slipping by them, so instead he'd just scramble around more and extend plays. KC had 4 least sacks all season, not sure anyone brings him down. Key IMO is better secondary play which became tough without White.
  11. We've lost twice to a team that is as good if not better overall so no.
  12. Agree with first two picks, but instead would sign a top level FA guard and resign Bates. Let Mongo go. Williams tough call, not sure as by the time you take the cap hit and find someone better, may be cheaper to keep Him. Similar with Morse, but need a cheaper contract.
  13. In the middle of the game, Bills O-line struggled. Last few weeks they looked real good, but not today, so need to improve there. If Allen had more time, they wouldn't have been stopped on those drives. Sign top FA guard and draft a guard/centrer Not sure if anyone can consistently sack Mahomes, even a guy like Watt. They had Mahomes scrambling all around multiple times, but he may be best at avoiding the sack. Need more CB depth.
  14. Edmunds is here next season , if not they are on the hook for his $12 mil option Wallace is fine as #2 CB, problem is once White got hurt, he was the #1 CB and against KC, he was in trouble. Do think overall we do need a CB high in the draft as no guarantee Whie will be back in Sept at anywhere near 100%
  15. Agree high and short so they have to return it. Squib kick, the #### doesn't start till KC player touches it and he could immediately give him self up. So maybe end up with maybe one or two at most less seconds but ball at 35 to 40 instead. Should have only rushed 2 or 3 at most, at that point, let Mahomes run around and kill clock
  16. OK wasn't sure reading your response NY Titans was a long time ago. LOL Admittedly don't understand the Tenn Titans angle.
  17. Relocating didn't help and moving to SEC country makes it even tougher to get true fans. Hey Albany, not sure he got it!
  18. Depends where, on a bar stool isn't too bad.
  19. And the odds of that happening sooner than they think gets higher every year.
  20. Took quite awhile before anyone signed him too, so apparently the rest of the league also didn't value him as much as he did. Is a certain irony there with the way things worked out getting traded. Did his girlfriend approve the trade?
  21. While Beane would never state this, I'm sure part of the reason they wouldn't give him the money he wanted was because of the holding issues that he had last season. I will not be at all surprised to see the Bills draft a punter in around the 5th or 6th round as I'm sure they aren't to happy with the punting, but are very thrilled with him as a holder
  22. When are you letting Edmunds walk, this coming off season or after the 2022 season? The Bills picked up his 5th year option so that is now fully guaranteed so they are on the hook for his full $12.7 mil salary. Highly doubt they are cutting him now. Last CBA rules changed don 5th year options. Best they'd do if they decide not to keep him long term would be to let him play out the 5th year option at the $12.7 mil, then let him walk. Doubt that happens though. Likely he will be signed to a new contract with a much lower cap hit. Likely the length of the deal will tell you how sold the Bills as a team are on him. If 3 years or less, then maybe not so sold, longer than that, tells me they value him more than most of the experts here. Do agree on McKenzie, Harry, and Wallace and a starting interior lineman. Also would throw in Bates too.
  23. Not in past few years.
  24. Sure the IRS could care less if you call it a business or not. But they do care about money, whether it's made from a business or personal income. All the IRS cares about is following the money and if they see money flowing to you that's income and you need to pay taxes on it. That's all they care about and in today's digital world, it's much easier to follow the money. Did you get a check from Aunt Suzy for Christmas, that's income. If you have a garage sale, that's income that you're supposed to report, but fortunately for many, the IRS isn't able to easily find many things. But now you're dealing with a large company in Ticketmaster and they need to show where the money is flowing to.
