  1. I’d like to see a nice, double digit come from behind victory. We almost got that with the Bucs game. Aside from that, just the ice water, clutch gene that Jordan and Brady seem to have. It’s a bit of recency bias because he had those throws last year against the Rams, Dolphins, & Cards, but this year he’s oh-fer.
  2. I’d think this would be more on the position coach than the HC since he works much more closely with the players. When Bates went in and McD saw the effectiveness of the OL, no doubt he’d overrule any attempts to put Ford or Feliciano back in there.
  3. Had the Pats won, KC would’ve played the Bengals.
  4. Going back and watching the highlights of that week 5 game, Mahomes ran all over the place, often in key situations. Leslie Frazier will have his work cut out for him in this one. The offensive line will as well, as this may be the best defensive line we’ll likely see for the rest of the postseason.
  5. Chris Jones and Melvin Ingram weren’t there when we beat them earlier in the season, so you add in Frank Clark and Spag’s aggressive blitzes and I hope Daboll is coming up with a plan that relies on screens, slants, and other quit hitters. They’re not going to give Josh time to throw.
  6. Chiefs are an extremely aggressive defense. Need to make them pay for all that blitzing and crowding the LoS.
  7. As explosive of a player as he is, I’d move on from Diontae if I was the Steelers. Don’t know if any WR in the league drops more passes than him, just too unreliable.
  8. Earlier in the season they were getting beat physically as much as mentally (stunts/loops/etc), but now there’s cohesion across the board. Williams is playing better at guard, Brown is playing better as a rookie, Dawkins is actually looking like a pro bowler, Bates is extremely smart and aware, and Morse has been playing his best ball. They waited for more than half a season to come together, but they’re humming now. Let’s hope it continues, we’ll need these performances for a super bowl W.
  9. The Boston “Teabag” Party
  10. Belichick’s postgame conference was hilarious. Wouldn’t answer any question that wasn’t directly about the game, but when asked about players, specific plays, or decisions during the game, he gave the same tired answers: “just didn’t play well tonight/they made more plays than us/I don’t know/etc” 😂 Love it
  11. Alex Leatherwood is their version of our Cody Ford.
  12. Same thing I was thinking. Timeouts are valuable, but teams don’t treat them as such.
  13. 4 years for $60M with his production is a bargain, but it would’ve came at the cost of signing Milano no doubt. Bills have excess $fat$ on the DL that needs to be trimmed in the off-season.
  14. Burrow was far more deserving of the pro bowl than his divisional counterpart Jackson.
  15. What has been Allen’s biggest come from behind victory? I’m blanking here…
  16. There’s no downside to this. People just like to complain.
  17. That Bucs play where he ran for the first by the goal line had me worried. Was a pretty violent collision, but Josh popped right up. I agree though, the law of averages says he’s got a troubling hit on the horizon because of his playing style *knock on wood* Don’t know how you change that. I do see he doesn’t throw his body around when blocking for runners anymore.
  18. I think Addison is a slightly above average DE who’s better against the pass than the run. The reason the Bills defense excels is not because any one player is a superstar (as evidenced by the lack of pro bowlers), but because all eleven are at least “solid.” Yes, even Edmunds. But imagine if we had someone in the front 7 who was feared? A Watt, or a Bosa, or Parsons. Oliver and Milano are the closest we’ve got, but a feared player would elevate this defense to an even higher level and I do believe you’d see less ho hum performances against the better offenses. With that said, the truth of the matter is there just aren’t any more dominating defenses in this passing game era. The Bills are #1, but would probably be middle of the pack if you were to transport this unit back to the 90s, or even early 2000s. Just have the expectation that it’s not on the defense for the Bills to win their first Super Bowl. It’s all on the Allen-led offense. If Allen climbs out of this rut he’s been in the past couple games and plays lights out in the postseason, I like our chances against any team.
  19. Don’t let him get too many 😄 That’s how they get rolling.
  20. I posted in another thread, but these are the numbers for the Patriots RB Harris the three times the Bills defense has faced him: 11/01/20 16/102 TD 12/06/21 10/111 TD 12/26/21 18/103 3TD TOTALS: 44/316 (7.18 YPC) 5TD Time for redemption
  21. His two best games this season have been against the Texans and Jets. It’s predictable that when he makes a couple plays against these lower teams, people come out of the woodwork extolling his greatness. I’m not an Edmunds hater, but I do believe we could get better production in the middle. A good game against the Jets today doesn’t change that belief. I want to see Edmunds make an impact against higher tier competition and he’ll have his chance in the playoffs.
  22. The Bills absolutely have to figure out a way to slow down Harris, the Pats RB. The defense has faced him three times, these are his numbers: 11/01/20 16/102 TD 12/06/21 10/111 TD 12/26/21 18/103 3TD TOTALS: 44/316 (7.18 YPC) 5TD It ain’t pretty, I’m sure he loves playing the Bills
  23. Burrow is arguably the most accurate QB in the NFL right now and that’s huge praise, I know.
