Illegal Streaming Site Streameast Taken Down
Coach Tuesday replied to WotAGuy's topic in The Stadium Wall
Let me get this straight - the NFL and sports media companies are INHERENTLY EVIL and anyone who doesn’t agree with that obvious point are dense trolls? INHERENTLY EVIL?? Again we are talking about ENTERTAINMENT companies. They aren’t even purporting to sell basic needs. They are a universe removed from, say, an HMO. They are evil for selling a luxury product for more money than you think it's worth? Evil??? INHERENTLY EVIL! And btw how much money do you personally spend to help prop up these INHERENTLY EVIL entities? Aren’t you complicit in the evil if you know what you’re supporting? -

Oh I agree with that too. It's a monopoly propped up by taxpayers. But you know who can do something about that if they want to? Your elected representatives... By viewing? No criminal laws but definitely civil copyright laws. By facilitating, hosting, etc.? Several big criminal ones. -

I mean, fair question, but the slope is beyond slippery. Who gets to decide which laws to follow? Without totally derailing this thread (but since a Mod asked the question), it's wild to me that many of the same people in this thread who are defending this particular law-breaking are, in other parts of this very website, defending giving the maximum punishment (and beyond) to sandwich-throwers and illegal border-crossers because "they broke the law and there needs to be consequences." I mean, who gets to decide these things? Once everyone gets to decide what laws they will and will not follow, civil society is basically over. And maybe that's where we are - Luigi Mangione certainly thinks so. -

I mean sure if you just want to pretend intellectual property doesn't exist in the world as an asset. I guess it's not backed by gold so... -

Again, whatever folks need to tell themselves to justify STEALING, good for them. If you don't think that consumers are footing the bill for enhanced security measures, subscription bleed, etc., you're totally delusional IMO. Just because you can't see all of the measures taken w/r/t digital content (as opposed to the fiberglass locking shelves at CVS, etc.), doesn't mean that expensive measures aren't being implemented. And those of us who pay full freight are paying for them. (Again, I know that a prevailing world view now is that if you pay full price you're a sucker. Times have changed.) -

LOL ok. Yeah I get that this is a prevailing view these days - theft from big companies is fine because they're greedy. I don't agree that it's fine, nor do I agree that it's victimless, but again, I understand that it's a commonly-held core belief now. -

Perhaps the victims are the law-abiders who pay higher prices because others are stealing? How is it any different from shoplifting from Target?- 285 replies

Gabe Davis signing with the Bills (going to practice squad)
Coach Tuesday replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
But he was also a place where offense went to die in 2023. Seemed like he was in or near every malfunction the offense had that year. Anyhow, whatever. They have a break glass in emergency PS staffed with vets they won’t need to coach up because they already know the system. I guess that’s smart. I worry about all of the hedging this regime does at the expense of big swings but it’s a sane strategy to try to use the roster rules to your advantage. -
Parsons traded to Green Bay, given $188 million contract
Coach Tuesday replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Saints aren’t even going to win a game this year and his dad played for them. It is ordained. -
The odds of McD trusting him out there in a hybrid box role at this point in the offseason - this would be one of those misfit signings that probably never gets integrated into the lineup here. He’s not plug-and-play at this coach is slow to trust.

He is definitely someone opposing OC’s have to design a game plan around. There are not many of these in the league - we have none. -

There are several ways for Jones to “win the trade” but I don’t winning more games in 2025-2026 being one of them. That’s my issue. Even if the Cowboys got better “value” (maybe even post facto if Parsons gets hurt or something), this does not help them maximize the Prescott Window that they themselves constructed. It’s just horrible team management. And trading him to the very team that blew you out at home in the playoffs! Unreal. -
Any Prather votes yet?

I’m sure Beane will be happy to field questions about all of this.
-
OMG nobody else thought of that
-
Fair enough about the Eagles, plenty of their moves fail, but at least they are constantly trying to improve the top and bottom of their roster in creative ways. I assume you’re not putting Poyer and Hyde on Beane’s track record, because if so that would be generous.
-
FTR I’m ok with the Carter pick. The process was sound - that’s the going rate for a 1T and it’s better than overpaying for one in free agency. I never liked the player (pretty sure I predicted bust at the time) but I can forgive a swing and miss there. It’s the pro personnel garbage I am really getting fed up with. This is the “idea” Beane’s pro personnel scouts are bringing to him in late August? The same guy they’ve signed over and over again? These guys are clowns when it comes to pro personnel scouting, they completely suck at it.
-
I am admittedly jealous of the Eagles who have an active, cutting-edge, first-class pro personnel department making a slew of trades at the waiver deadline in an effort to upgrade depth. Versus Beane’s guys who clearly have run out of new ideas and cannot help but squander their remaining cap dollars on over the hill defensive linemen every single freakin’ year. These small differences often make big differences late in the season.

Beane’s exes probably have to block his number.
