    One more matchup advantage (to acquire or to emerge) on offense would get it done though. As horrible as it is to even utter, I realized the other day that even Steph Diggs right now would probably put this offense over the top.

    I would’ve agreed with you but for Bishop’s play last night - he was in the exact right spot every single time last night which tells me he was perfectly prepared. Most of that is on him but some of it is definitely on Babich.

    Dre’mont Jones on the Titans, he was a monster for them today playing in a very similar role. On a one year $10M deal, not sure how they’d be able to structure it. But he would be a viable replacement.

    Correct and that's why I think he's out today by "mutual agreement" - he was told to start trading away his own key acquisitions and he said, if you're doing that, we might as well part ways now.

    Yes, like then. Other than one single quarter in week 1, the passing game hasn’t been able to impose its will. At some point again probably as soon as this Sunday, it’s going to have to be able to do so.

    They will eventually HAVE TO pass to win a game. Probably this Sunday when the Chiefs go up by two scores to start the game. Let’s see if they can turn on the octane when they need to - I’m skeptical.

    It's fine to be run-first, but outside of one quarter of one game, they haven't even shown that they CAN pass if they HAVE TO. Whatever, we'll find out in a few days about that.

    Thank you for the sane response. They throw a lot of horizontal passes to the perimeter and rely on precision blocking to make those plays successful. It’s not a grand conspiracy.

    He has zero margin for error because he has the worst group of receivers in the entire NFL. Brandon Beane is criminally negligent.
