Also you need to find a lawyer to take a case like this on contingency (I am assuming) and it won’t be worth it to the lawyer unless the defendant has assets. So the “timing” is likely that. Civil suits are not cheap, no one is going to pursue one against someone with no money, most of the time.

Totally agreed - always struck me as insecure coaching.

What it means is that the Bills (and all other teams) should be loading up on receivers in every draft, because it’s an arbitrage opportunity - if any of them hit, you get guaranteed cheap labor at an expensive premium position. And by the same token, they should stop wasting draft picks on RBs every year (except this one), because you can find decent options in the $1 CD bin.

Coleman starting to dunk on defenses is gonna be one of the most fun aspects of the 2025 season.

I’m a Coleman Optimist but the thing that freaks me out watching him is that he seems to need contact with the defender in order to orient himself on the field. That’s a basketball habit and he desperately needs to break it.

What are you basing that on? There are myriad ways the Browns could free up more cash if they wanted to, such as selling a minority share of their team which has soared in value relative to what they bought it for. They are cheap.

This is pretty cool. The Bills have actually become a pretty fun and hip brand between Josh and the Bills Mafia shenanigans. If they don’t eff this up with weird drama on the show they can continue to ride the wave to becoming the lower-key, hipper and more accessible version of America’s Team. And if they can finally win the title to cap a Hallmark Season in the stadium’s final season it would all be a legendary sports story that the entire country would feel they got to participate in. Just saying.
