  1. Odd because I literally saw him create at least two pressures.
  2. Anyone else positive Bass would’ve missed the XP if they scored the TD there?
  3. Totally agree. Plus Diggs was running to the side of the field Jones was rushing from - not as easy a throw as it looked. Plus Diggs wasn’t playing as though he was engaged - who knows what happens with a pass in his direction. Plus there is an alternative reality where Shakir scores and then Bass misses the XP and the Chiefs go down and tie it…
  4. Terry Pegula is not firing Sean McDermott. There is just zero chance of it happening this offseason so there is almost zero utility of debating whether it should or shouldn’t happen. It won’t happen.
  5. If Gabe had played Josh would’ve thrown two INTs.
  6. Don’t forget Kincaid who single-handedly saved TWO fumbles from becoming turnovers. Beyond impressed with those two kids. Way more heart today than Diggs displayed, for example. He can’t play that role. He’s a slot.
  7. Part of me thinks that’s why they ran him on that play instead of someone who actually had the talent to get the first down. Someone had their eyes on a Hallmark Moment. Hope I’m wrong.
  8. Diggs had zero interest in the last month of the season and seemed totally checked out tonight. He fumbled on the first play! And dropped what could’ve been a game-winning bomb. He became a bit of a bitchass this season and tonight was the cherry on top.
  9. McD isn’t calling the plays. I understand he should be dictating the strategy but what you’re describing is probably unrealistic for a defensive head coach. Maybe a defensive head coach is the wrong solution but that’s a different issue.
  10. Kincaid single-handedly saved two fumbles from becoming turnovers - incredible awareness by a rookie.
  11. Floyd was a difference maker in multiple games. Without that signing they don’t make it this far. Epanesa, on the other hand, was on a milk carton.
  12. It’s just - in this particular instance that one player was there for the taking and was EXACTLY what this offense needed and missed all year and especially tonight. Beane needs to stop sucking on his thumb and get his QB some help. It’s insane what has gone on with this offense in the offseasons.
  13. I thought he coached looser tonight tbh. I can’t get too worked up about McD’s schemes and effort this past month. They put themselves against the wall with zero margin for error and they still almost pulled it off. Where do they go? They need to exit Phase One of McBeane Regime and move to Phase Two. Phase One was to invest heavily in the d line, rely on aging safeties to make heady plays, and let Allen try to will the entire offense to victory with little help. Phase Two needs to pivot to heavy investment in playmakers on offense. The Packers somehow have like seven good young receivers - the Bills have maybe one (Shakir). If they don’t make that pivot and double down on trying to win with defense, they’re going to go down as the modern day Martyball Meatheads. This was a legacy game for McBeane, and their legacy is now on fumes. Need to change things up big time. Hopefully Terry sees it - I’m not sure he does.
  14. Yup. But Beane paid Poona Ford, Jordan Phillips, Deonte Harty and Trent Sherfield instead. Wizard!
  15. Bass is a mental patient. As a sympathetic human, I don’t “blame” him for looking shell shocked like he just came back from the front lines at Verdun. But as a longtime fan of this team - Bass can go get f’d.
  16. The irony of this game is that the player they needed most was DeAndre Hopkins. Especially in the fourth quarter. He comes down with those deep shots from Allen. But Beane needed to pay Jordan Phillips, Deonte Harty, Trent Sherfield, Poona Ford.
  17. Yeah as far as Brady goes, the grade is still incomplete. Did not have a counterpunch in the second half when Spags started run blitzing on first down - Brady sent his rbs into the teeth of those blitzes like he was leading a charge in Galipoli. But it’s hard to evaluate him fully when he was asked to design plays for the likes of Sherfield and Harty. Just all around organizational negligence on offense starting in the offseason.
  18. Allen got greedy at the exact wrong time but the play was there to be made - Jones just got the best of his man and affected the throw. Special teams under McD have been a complete clown show. Keeping Martin this week was ludicrous and I suspect it was done in large part to try not to disrupt Bass’s fragile psyche by switching out his holder. Bass needs to go take Ayahuasca with Rodgers this offseason, his brain is scrambled up and he’s useless. Which I just have no sympathy for given what I’ve been through as a fan of this team. Speaking of which - Diggs had zero interest in this game. Bookended his garbage performance by fumbling on the very first play and then casually dropping a perfectly-thrown bomb on the penultimate drive. Not sure what happened to him mentally but he seemed to have completely checked out and I suspect we will soon be subjected to his passive-aggressive tweets and such as he starts angling for his next adventure. Finally - this game was proof positive that investing more heavily on defense is a fool’s errand. Beane gave his star QB zero playmakers this offseason. Wasting the career of JA17 is a war crime and Beane should be on a short leash heading into 2024. Brutal way to end the season but they gave themselves no margin for error, all year and again today. They had to be perfect for too many games in a row and today they came up short.
  19. They just ran out of horses on D. They do not have the players.
