I’ve heard it speculated that Aaron Rodgers wouldn’t attempt higher-risk throws in clutch situations because he didn’t want to risk high INT counts that could disrupt his MVP chances. Which tracks.

The premise of this “thread” is that Tomlin has been anointed and built up by the media as “elite” when he doesn’t deserve it, whereas other coaches like McDermott have been torn down by the media when they’ve got similar or better credentials. Of course, there’s a subtext to this “theory” - there always is with this particular poster - but if anyone called it out he’d act all shocked. “What? Oh no, I wasn’t saying THAT, why you must be reading into it, that’s a YOU problem!” Been years of this type of gaslighting by this particular poster. Years.

There is a sick-sounding bitterness to the tone of this.

What about pleading the refs to throw flags? Mahomes’ constant politicking should get flagged.

It would be impossible to enforce as a rule. Because of plays like that - Allen slowed down but never started to dip. You’re just using a bad example for a rule that would be impossible to implement. And you’re doing it right after a huge win for this fanbase.

Anywho that wasn’t a fake slide. He slowed down and probably thought about sliding but at no point did he start to go down into a slide. And even if it was a fake slide (which it in no way was), how did it cause the defender to bounce off of him? It was a juke and a missed tackle and you’re being a troll.

We have a ST coordinator problem for sure. Again. Bass has this weird hook thing, left to right instead of the normal right to left slice. Like my one buddy’s tee shot. You think it’s going left and then it drifts back just in time. But it’s gotten weirder this year and he’s missing some. Seems to need to rebuild his whole approach but I don’t trust Smiley to get that corrected.

I do visit them and I was super critical of Allen last night for the first few quarters because he was playing like a meathead. But trade him? My goodness. I haven't seen that.
