  1. Bob McGinn’s 8th-ranked EDGE: Played five games at LSU in 2021 before starting 31 of 37 games for the Razorbacks from 2022-’24. “Tough guy, brings energy,” one scout said. “Not that athletic for an edge. Little bit upright and rigid. At the point of attack he’s too high. Doesn’t have that leverage, but he fights. If he can get his long arms on you he has a chance. Angle blocks get him just because of the body frame. As a rusher, he uses his hands really well but just isn’t explosive getting around the edges. Big, tough, smart. There’s a role for him. He’ll never be a star or a top talent, but the type guy that will make other people around him look better.” His vertical jump of 40 ½ led the edges. Arms were 33 ¼, hands were 10. “He’ll be a functional starter,” said a second scout. “Not a bad bender. Good strength. Uses his hands and length really well. Stiff in change of direction. Just average speed. Sometimes it looks like he’s running in place. Hands and feet don’t always work together. Just more of an effort guy as a pass rusher. Better against the run. He’s a big base left defensive end.” Finished with 116 tackles (28 for loss), 16 sacks and five passes defensed. Dominated Alabama A&M tackle Carson Vinson in the Senior Bowl game. “He’ll check off every box as a human being and the measurables,” a third scout said. “He’s sort of stiff, but with his numbers he might go first round. You’re getting a tightly-wound defensive end who plays hard and can cover some ground.” Four-star recruit from Texarkana, Texas.
  2. Looks like he’s straight out of the House of Harkonnen.
  3. Not looking likely…
  4. Bob McGinn’s 8th-rated DT: Fourth-year junior. Redshirted in 2021 and didn’t start a game until ’23. “The Carolinas are notorious for these type guys,” one scout said. “They got size, mobility, twitch and they’re still getting better in their third and fourth year of college. It’s a D-line rich area. He’s a country kid, raw, with huge upside. Really good first step, really good power in his hands. Showed that he can win with quick, showed he can win with power. Former basketball player so the movement is obviously there. He’s a second-rounder all day, top 50 player. He can play a 4 to a 5 (technique) but on nickel and dime he can probably get away lining up inside. That’s what everybody’s looking for: a guy that a good 4i, can play 5-technique, maybe align over a tight end. But, in certain packages, all of a sudden this guy’s in a 3-technique giving the guard something different to work with. That’s gonna be his big value.” Started 16 of 39 games, finishing with 109 tackles (18 for loss), 9 ½ sacks and six passes defensed. “They had some horses on the edge so he was more interior,” a second scout said. “He was borderline first round last year. He can play anywhere. He’s really athletic. Got heavy hands. He can bend, redirect. When he wants to play hard he can be really good. He’s got some typical D-lineman immaturity and work-ethic issues but that guy’s got a ton of upside. He’ll be a sneaky pick for whoever takes him. The reports out of there indicate he’s not really ready for all this.” Arms were 33 1/8, hands were 10 ¼. Graduated in December. “They’ll tell us when you walk through the door he might be their most talented player,” a third scout said. “But the attitude and demeanor … he’s a big-time underachiever. He’s never really put it together. He’s probably going to be disappointed on draft day. They tolerated him … but he underachieved there.” Averaged a double-double as a prep basketball player in Marion, S.C.
  5. The crying here is SHOCKING. His CEILING is Wilkins and he’ll likely never hit it. And even with Wilkins they never beat us.
  6. Walter has us taking Revel and I agree his site is full of ad junk. .
  7. That’s good because that’s also what you sound like.
  8. Not sure how I feel about hearing your voices - never meet your heroes! EDIT: started listening, it sounds like Schoop's brother and Mr. Peanut 🤣 In all seriousness thanks for doing this guys this is great.
  9. 100%. Typical Omar Kelly fluff piece - perfectly empty content for a perfectly empty town and fan base.
  10. First-guy-off-the-bus-last-guy-back-on-the-bus-types.
  11. Allen could go Full Hallmark if he wanted to.
  12. The Chiefs are obvious but really it’s the Bengals who love the “character arbitrage” game. Remember they grabbed up Burton another dirt bag - they love distressed assets and they’d be a perfect landing spot for him.
  13. Overrated: James Cook Underrated: McGovern
  14. In theory it should be yes. And he will be held responsible. But can you imagine having to fill up hours every day with your own voice, and having to constantly find new and interesting topics to opine about? If you don’t defame someone you’ll cancel yourself somehow or piss off the wrong sponsor or bigwig or all of the above… you’re just asking for trouble in that kind of business. No one skates.
  15. When you talk for a living - this stuff is basically inevitable.
  16. If he performs can you pay him? What if the league inevitably switches back to a passing league?
  17. I mostly agree but not about a 1T at 30. To me that would be the exact opposite of aiming high and taking the risk of failure. You are 100% right that Roseman is willing to swing for the fences. Beane - despite his hilariously wrong “Big Baller” nickname - nearly always plays it safe and hits it down the fairway and in that sense he and McD are in lockstep. They are a risk-mitigating organization even though they otherwise operate well. “We’ll blitz but only if we play our DBs way back just in case…”. “Make sure we have a vet in every position room because we need to keep the kids on mission in case the coaching doesn’t take.” “We’ll move around the draft board but only if we don’t lose too many mid-round picks.” “We’ll pay for veteran receivers but only after we buy three more vet linemen because Sean’s defense needs new old blood every year.” A one tech at 30 would be a pure safe need pick that is super unlikely to get a second contract and if they did it would likely be a bad use of cap dollars.
  18. Yipes man calm yourself. You asked him to respond because his emojis were triggering you and he did and then his response triggered you… it’s not like he was personally attacking you he is just disagreeing just relax. You’re a good poster having a rough night.
  19. 1000% this - “was” is doing all of the work in that comment.
