Not only is he overrated but the best part is he's an 8.5M cap hit and a 22.5M dead cap hit 40M guaranteed for that slacker. once again proves that belichick is a below average talent evaluator. without brady he's.....well.....unable to score a single point against us in foxboro last year GEEEEENNNNNNIIIIUUUUUUSSSSSS

Your ONE prediction about this season
Webster Guy replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ajayi is held to 75 yards and under both games against us Landry Jones gets cheapshotted on the field by week 10 and is out for the season (if not he gets cheapshotted by me in the parking lot on his way to the bus)... either way he's out for the season -
Let's Give Everyone Bad Fantasy Advice: 2017

yeah whoever will be filling in for Shady if he gets hurt. Still not sure who that's going to be though..... -
Going to Jets game opener (and the U2 show tomorrow) in our RV. A few questions: Can we park on the stadium lots and stay there overnight? Are there any spots with power, either private lots or pegula ones? I sent a message to Hammer just now, figuring he was the guy to ask, but I don't know if he'll see it before we leave tomorrow for the concert. any other thoughts are appreciated. We'll be leaving Roch tomorrow around 5 and thought it would be nice to know where we should go ahead of time instead of driving around like fools when we get there. Thanks!

Reilly gone? Cryptic text
Webster Guy replied to dollars 2 donuts's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Arian Brotherhood of Belichick might take him because of his skin hue. I hope Shorts makes it, figured it would be one of those two guys sneaking in. A lot depends on Streater's recovery. -
Confused about John Miller. Doubled his PFF score last year, vasty improving in his second year which was relatively injury free. Is it Dennison and Castillo asking too much of him? Effort? Skill? 2015 overall grade: 38.7 2016 overall grade: 77.8 Now firmly entrenched as the Bills’ starting RG, Miller’s rookie season was one to forget, plagued by nagging injuries that had an effect on his play, in particular his run blocking. Bills running backs averaged only 3.9 yards per carry rushing in his direction, and his run-blocking grade ranked 84th among guards, with Miller perhaps struggling to adjust to such a diverse rushing attack. He turned it around in 2016, however, shooting up to 24th among guards in terms of PFF grade as a run blocker, missing only 18 snaps. Overall, he made the step up to a solid, dependable player, with his grade improving from a dismal 38.7 to 77.8.

Youse guys even suck at sucking
Webster Guy replied to Jimmy Spagnola's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Spags we tried to show you guys how to tank on the last game of the season when we sat our starting qb who sliced you up in previous games. You green dopes took the bait and got your meaningless win, which did nothing but slide us up in the draft and move you down. Because of that we got the 10th spot where KC panicked and offered us next year's first rounder so they could grab Mahomes. If we didn't tank that game we don't get that trade, which will be some massive leverage next March. It's called planning ya big italian salami. fuggedaboddit. Two years ago at the last game of the year we beat ya and you missed the playoffs, then last year we lose on purpose and beat you again in the draft. All that Jersey sludge is making you fellas estupido. I like that you sea slugs drafted two awesome safeties, especially Jamal Adams. Can't wait for him to whiff on Shady and Tyrod in his first NFL game. It's not like tackling college punks out there. Dem Miami chicks do love dem Jets boys though, so you win there. Gotta speak Cuban tho, an that aint even a language, it's a sangwich -
The Lions Waive OT Cyrus Kouandjio

Man Kujo has the perfect body to be a stud too. First time I saw him up close at camp, he just had that look. Long arms, great first punch, seemed to set up in protection nicely, he just looked really promising. Here's what the scouts had to say: Massive, long-limbed, inconsistent, overhyped college left tackle whose sheer dimensions, raw tools and high ceiling are far more appealing than his snap-to-snap performance at this stage of his development. Has enough length and anchor strength to survive on the left side, though he will never be a dancing bear, and he projects more ideally as a bulldozing right tackle in a power scheme. -
Any more buyers for buffalo garage sale?
Webster Guy replied to Protocal69's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Watkins, GiImore and Darby did next to nothing for us last year. Woods was solid and has been replaced by Zay, who appears to be an excellent WR. We've added some good talent, expect some big plays from Humber, Shaq, Gaines, Hyde, Poyer and the shiny new TreD will have more picks by week 17 than Gilmore and Darby combined last year. Better kicking game too. Glad we have the Jets in the first game to iron things out, and our coach certainly knows Carolina in week 2. Strong start, 2-0 for the boys in Blue. -
Same identical O-line as last year will take the field on opening day. Same one that won us the rushing title and got us 25ppg in a season where we basically had no Watkins and poor field position starts from a porous defense and awful kicking game. Zay is as good as Woods, and our TE's are looking sharp this year, Better defense, better kicking game. I agree that starting the season against the Jets here at home is great for this team, disagree with you on your gloomy win forecast. We will still go .500 this year.

This is how epically bad we are.
Webster Guy replied to bobobonators's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
trading a good young corner like darby ON A ROOKIE CONTRACT was head scratching, all the other draft picks and trades I was fine with, including taking a shot at EJ to develop into the guy. you can pick any team and look at their drafts and the number of guys that they whiffed on. It's the same thing all around the league, you miss on half your picks. -
And yet we'll likely have the exact same O-line against the Jets as we had last year. A line that got us the rushing title and 25 ppg average despite a crappy defense and kicking game putting them in tough field position all season. Glenn seems to think he's going to play. Miller is still a good starting guard. Mills is apparently not going to be replaced by Groy or Dawkins so he's going to start as well, which is all the more reason to play the slippery Tyrod and keep that Jets Dline guessing
-
Miller is good enough, they're just trying to evaluate for depth here. Starting lineup will be exactly the same as last year, Glenn is going to be on the field for the Jets game. Dawkins and Groy versatile backups. Everyone stop freaking out

Ragland traded to KC for 4th round 2019 pick
Webster Guy replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You'd think if you went out 2 years for a draft pick then it would be a pure conditional pick based on number of snaps the guy plays. The fact that it isn't tells me the Bills really don't have much faith in this cat, that and they didn't see him making the final 53 so they figured it would be better to get something. He sure was a beast in college though. I hope the kid comes back strong. -
Our Oline is not good in pass protect right now. Will take a scrambler like TT and a quick throwing Dennison gameplan to move the chains against the Jets D. I like what I see from Peterman thus far, but the best thing for this team is to not throw the kid in there until he learns more AND we can give him some time to execute. He probably could win us the Jets game but he really needs at least full year on the bench.

I will convey something I heard this afternoon from a friend of mine who works for the Rams as a communications guy: Goff needed four things: More time to throw, better targets to throw to, more time to absorb the complexities of the pro game, and for Gurley to regain his rookie form. He said all of those things are appearing to shape up this summer. Sammy, Robert Woods, Kupp, Tavon Austin a very nice group, they have a stud LT this year and the O-line looks vastly improved, Goff is more decisive and comfortable, consistent footwork and accuracy, and Gurley looks poised to have a much better year now that he probably won't be seeing a stacked box virtually every play like last year. He said put them down for at least 8 wins this season as a surprise team on the rise.

The Insanity of Tanking Talk
Webster Guy replied to Flip Johnson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Beane said it himself, 'the preferred financial model is to have a significant number of good players under their rookie contracts' you need to be able to afford what you have, knowing that free agency equals overpayment. amassing picks is good management, but it comes at a cost. if we hadn't traded at all this year we'd have malik hooker, darby, and sammy ready to kickass. Our team would be better now than it is, we took a short term hit for long term leverage. that's what some people call tanking, but it's simply gambling on personnel with a careful eye on the future. -
shorts seems to get a lot of separation. he will probably be practice squad but i hope they keep looking hard at this dude.

Bills D getting ready to return to pre-Rex form...
Webster Guy replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the Dine is just as good and our LB's were average then, as they are now. if you're referring to gilmore being a huge loss, wait and see how Trey does at corner this year. I watched him a ton at camp, he's really impressive, expect a year like Darbys rookie season. -
well...forget about that 3rd round comp pick
Webster Guy replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah the draft geeks follow them, lots of great comp picks that have changed entire organizations starting with Brady, Hines Ward, Larry Allen, Colston, Brian Dawkins, Garcon etc. Comp picks can be huge and good GM's (and fans?) follow them carefully. -
He didn't really seem to fit us anyway, with Zay and Matthews already splitting slot time, I still would have liked to have him as a locker room guy and a 3rd down type specialist maybe, but he wasn't going to be a game changer for us.

It's a good time to be on vacation
Webster Guy replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
uh, well how about where he implies that $7.5m is overpaying for a good NFL qb. ridiculous.
