  1. I had good luck with Sling last season. The sports package usually goes on sale for about $30 a month closer to the start of the NFL season
  2. I was pretty high on N'Keal Harry during the draft, but if you can't get off jams at the LOS and you can't get separation, you will not be a successful NFL wide receiver, regardless of how good you are at jump balls. Hopefully a change of scenery will help his development.
  3. The draft is a crapshoot. Busts are even more common at the pass-rusher position and half the guys taken in the first two rounds will be completely ineffective at the NFL level. Rousseau and Basham both have the physical gifts to be successful, now it's all about work ethic. McDermott will make them earn every rep they get. After seeing how sparingly he played Epenesa last year, I wouldn't be shocked if they each get about 20% of the snaps in their rookie year. The only way that number gets significantly higher is if Hughes/Addison get injured or traded, or possibly if we use them as interior rushers on 3rd downs. If they get 10 sacks combined this season I would be very happy.
  4. I think Josh Allen will have a 100% decrease in receptions this season
  5. Yes, but the Bills were able to resign their players because they agreed to lower team-friendly deals. The Saints are intentionally inflating contracts that they will likely terminate or restructure after one season. The league needs to remove voidable years from contracts or we might as well just not have a salary cap at all.
  6. So the Saints started the offseason $25 Million over the cap. Drew Brees retires, then they signed their backup qb to a $140 Million contract. Then they sign their RT to a $90 Million extension worth 18mil/year (we resigned our RT Daryl Williams who is just as good for less than half the price per year) These moves somehow put them under the salary cap. It's so bizarre that teams are able to give out ridiculous contracts and actually end up freeing up cap space. It seems like they exploited some loopholes that should be fixed in the near future.
  7. Sounds like the Eagles front office got this guy to claim that a trade is close to entice another team to increase their offer. Most likely, Ertz will be cut and signed to a more cap-friendly contract.
  8. Hopefully Gilmore gets traded out of the division. Maybe the fins trade Xavien Howard as well. The Jets don't even have a cb good enough to consider holding out. Looks like Diggs might hit 2,000 yards this season.
  9. Bills fans also said the same thing about London Fletcher, then complained when he left and played great with Washington.
  10. They also need to do a better job of disguising their runs. The defenses always seemed to know it was coming and crashed the backfield. Adding a dynamic receiving TE would make it more possible to run and pass equally from a 2 TE set
  11. I think we have a lot of young players that have the potential to break out this season (excluding rookies): Gabriel Davis AJ Epenesa Tremaine Edmunds (still only 23) Devin Singletary Zach Moss Ed Oliver Dawson Knox Cody Ford Dane Jackson I hate declaring draft winners/losers the day after because some players take years to develop. If half of these guys progress significantly this season, we will have a great young core to build around for years to come.
  12. Our O-line got blown up on the interior all day. Chris Jones got penetration and Frank Clark won off the edge. Our rb's could barely even get out of the backfield. On defense, Hill and Kelce were uncoverable and burned us consistently. Mahomes wasn't 100% healthy, but our defensive line still rarely pressured him. While I like the idea of continuity, I really think we need to get at least one dominant interior offensive lineman in order to take our offense to the next level. The Chiefs got better by signing Thuney, Orlando Brown, Kyle Long, and drafting Creed Humphrey, while the Bills drafted a couple developmental tackles that probably won't see the field for a couple years. We have about 10 million in cap space and hopefully there is a top guard released over the summer.
  13. There are a couple things that would concern me if this is the final depth chart: We would have no veteran backups at OT: Bobby Hart isn't a world-beater, but he is a known quantity with experience who was actually decent last season on a bad overall O-line for the Bengals. Doyle and Brown are developmental prospects and throwing them out there as an injury sub could get Josh killed. Depth at CB: 4 outside corners, one is a late-round rookie, another is a 2nd year guy who had barely any playing time last year. We really need to add a veteran cb before training camp. These are two of the most important positions in the NFL and we're one injury away from potential disaster.
  14. Anyone stay at the Red Carpet Inn just so the bed bugs have something to eat during the off-season?
  15. This is not a "simple pole" My ancestors came from Poland, so I consider myself a "simple Pole" Also, a poll with 5 answers to a yes-or-no question is not simple. But to answer the question, I think he will have fewer yards due to an improved defense and run game, and only regress slightly in terms of QBR due to the return of live crowd noise.
  16. I applaud him because that definitely took a lot of guts considering the macho culture of the NFL. There must be a lot more gay players in the league who will probably never come out. Statistically there are probably about two full NFL teams worth of gay players.
  17. Too small. According to this board we need a nose tackle who is 6-8 495 pounds
  18. I dont think anyone looked particularly good in run blocking. Maybe Feliciano when healthy.
  19. Daryl Williams doesn't get enough credit. He was lights-out in pass protection and allowed half as many sacks as Dion Dawkins. He's been our best RT since we had Jason Peters play there back in 2008
  20. Odaba is 2nd in High quality sacks per snap to Aaron Donald 👀 I really hope we keep 6 DE's active on gameday and rotate them a ton (and maybe move some guys inside in pass-rushing situations). The only way we could do that is if we have versatile backups at other positions who can step in at multiple positions. If Ryan Bates can play anywhere on the O-line in a pinch, then I don't see why we would need 9 O-linemen active.
  21. According to an American Medical Association survey, over 96% of doctors have been vaccinated for covid. That's higher than the percentage of people who believe the world is round. https://www.ama-assn.org/press-center/press-releases/ama-survey-shows-over-96-doctors-fully-vaccinated-against-covid-19 The numbers you posted (58%) are for the total hospital staff, including cafeteria staff and the guy who sells balloons in the gift shop. This number is still significantly higher than the vaccination rate of general population of the US.
  22. The only reason we're able to go back to living normally is because the majority of people in the US are now vaccinated. So basically Cole wants to reap the benefits of having unmasked practices and fans in the stands and a higher salary cap without actually taking the vaccine himself because of some unfounded fear.
  23. These players are intriguing because I could see any one of them either emerging as a star or being nearly phased out and given limited snaps. Cody Ford's job as a guard is the most in danger considering the additions of Forrest Lamp, Jamil Douglas, and Jack Anderson, plus the return of Ike Boettger, Feliciano, and Bates. Then when you consider they drafted Spencer Brown and Tommy Doyle to be the tackles of he future, it's tough to see Ford making the starting lineup unless he is absolutely dominant in preseason. I really like Singletary and he's great in pass protection, but I think he's most effective in a RB committee as opposed to being the lead back. Ed Oliver still has untapped potential and I think the return of Star and Phillips coming back healthy could lead to a breakout season for him. Dawson Knox can be a beast with the ball in his hands, but he drops too many easy passes and Josh is usually looking downfield instead of checking down to rb's and te's. It's no secret that the team is still trying to find an upgrade at the position. It might sound pessimistic, but I don't see any of these guys resigning with the Bills after their rookie deals are over.
  24. The only way a new stadium is worth it is if it's built downtown and gets a ton of major concerts and events year round. Enjoy the relatively inexpensive tickets while you can. We will pay for the new stadium with increased ticket and concession costs, personal seat licenses, and higher taxes. However, I think it would do wonders for Buffalo's economy and the shops and restaurants within a few miles of the stadium would thrive. Finding a parcel of land that large near downtown that also has the proper infrastructure is no easy task. With the cost of land reaching a peak right now, they may have to wait a few years for the housing market to die down or risk getting into a bidding war.
  25. The pilot: "Sir, could you please stop clapping? It's extremely distracting"
