  1. Dane Jackson will win the #2 cornerback job and lead the team in interceptions.
  2. PFF rated Devin Singletary the NFL's best pass protecting rb with a grade of 92.1 I believe Zack Moss fared well in pass protection as well, but may not have been trusted as much due to being a rookie and not having OTA's last year.
  3. Zack Moss may have more athletic upside, but Singletary is great in pass-protection and that fact will probably give him the majority of the snaps in the regular season. I think we have a really good three-headed monster in the backfield with the addition of Breida. I think DaBoll will make some tweaks to our run scheme to give our offense better balance.
  4. A way better example would be Wyatt Teller who was a backup here and is now one of the highest rated guards in the NFL with the Browns.
  5. No player should show up to camp without a contract. You get injured and you are completely screwed.
  6. To any madden players out there, If you own Madden 21, just go download one of the fan-created roster updates with the new rookie class added. Save the $60 for wings
  7. I like Duke Williams, but apparently the coaching staff doesn't. He's a physical big-body receiver, but he doesn't seem to have the agility and route-running ability to get consistent separation. Also, ever notice how he seems to get up hobbling after half of his catches?
  8. If the Davante Adams was on the trading block, it would mean that Aaron Rodgers is done in Green Bay. If that's the case, they would want a dependable qb in case Jordan Love doesn't pan out. Trubisky is probably the best backup in the entire league, so that's the guy GB would want. We're in win-now mode and adding a receiver of his caliber would make our offense absolutely deadly.
  9. Steve Christie used to live a few blocks away from me as a kid. I remember on Halloween there was a long line of trick-or-treaters at his house because he was giving away autographed photos. I think I traded mine away for a Snickers 🤣
  10. I think any team in the NFC West has the potential to make it to the Superbowl. The Cardinals have one of the best wr groups in the league (Hopkins, AJ Green, Rondale Moore) and just added JJ Watt on defense. The 49ers were ravaged by injuries last season and have one of the most talented rosters overall. McVay made Jared Goff look like a top qb and now he has a legitimate top qb in Stafford. They still have the best player in the league in Aaron Donald. The Seahawks are frequently underestimated before the season, yet Russell Wilson gets them in the playoffs almost every season. With a weak overall conference, I think we see 3 playoff teams from the NFC West this year. I think the Rams have the fire power to take out Tampa.
  11. Ty Nsekhe He could fill in at either tackle spot and not miss a beat. I don't feel quite as comfortable with Bobby Hart and 2 rookies behind our starters.
  12. Given the Panthers connection, I wouldn't rule out a prove-it deal for the vet minimum. I think his experience could really help in Ed Oliver's development.
  13. Since the contracts are based on slotting, maybe Spencer Brown's signing will be the one domino to get them all moving
  14. Apparently there are still 24 3rd round picks unsigned compared to only 10 from all other rounds combined 🤔
  15. Correct. The World Health Organization does say that.
  16. Now that Sherman is off the table, Nelson is the best available CB. I'm surprised he hasn't been signed already unless there's a medical issue.
  17. Antonio Williams will have the most rushing yards Trubisky will be efficient against 2nd team defenses Tyrell Adams will lead the team in tackles Marquez Stevenson will have at least one return TD Forest Lamp will be solid and win a guard spot
  18. He just became my pick for comeback player of the year. O-lines will need to focus on TJ Watt across from him and Heyward on the interior, leaving Ingram with favorable 1-on-1 matchups. If he stays healthy I think he gets back to double digit sacks.
  19. It's good to have all our draft picks signed before training camp. Holdouts often hurt the player most of all when it comes to rookie contracts since the overall value is pretty much set by the wage scale. Missing training camp pretty much guarantees you won't be able to win a starting job. Offset language only comes into play if he's released (injury money is still guaranteed)
  20. From a message board perspective it's been: 1. Can we keep this roster together? 2. Yes we can. 3. Zach Ertz 4. Wow we drafted some tall dudes 5. Zach Ertz? 6. Cole Beasley: Anti-Vaxxer 7. New stadium in the works 8. I heard Zach Ertz just followed Mighty Taco on twitter, he must be coming to Buffalo 9. How fat did Star Lotulelei get in his year off? 10. Does Zach Ertz dunk his wings in blue cheese or ranch?
  21. He was great when he first came to the Titans, but he hasn't been able to stay healthy in years. Maybe for the vet minimum if Ertz is off the table
  22. I think a lot of head coaches are unfairly fired after one down year. Jim Caldwell got the Lions to a 9-7 record and a playoff appearance only to be fired and replaced with Matt Patricia, who went on to lead them to a 13-29-1 record. Continuity is more important in football than any other sport because of its complexity. Learning entirely new schemes every single offseason will not lead to sustained success.
  23. If Feliciano, Lamp, and Boettger are all backups, then who are our starting guards?
  24. I think we may have an easier schedule on paper compared to last season, but each of our division rivals improved in key areas over the offseason. If Tua makes progress and they're able to keep Xavien Howard, the Dolphins could challenge for the division. (They went 10-6 last year) The Jets got a potential star rookie qb, signed Corey Davis, and underrated star DE Carl Lawson. Most importantly, they got rid of Adam Gase. The Patriots got a rookie qb who is better suited to their offense than Cam. They filled out their receiving group with two athletic TE's and two experienced WR's. Their defense and running game will keep them in games (we only beat them in the 2nd game because of a well-timed fumble) I think the Texans, Jaguars, and Falcons are our only "easy" games, but it's too early to tell. Our passing offense is near its ceiling, and we will need improvement from our running game and defense in order to improve significantly. I see another 13 win season, but that's actually more impressive because the division got a lot tougher.
