  1. The run blocking can't be the only problem when a guy like Singletary, who's not fast, doesn't hit holes or break tackles. When Moss played, the run attack was better, but the Bills went empty most of the time because they knew they couldn't run it. By the way, were you not entertained by Josh sitting and having a sandwich ,perusing the field and picking apart teams in the 8 games in a row they beat good D-lines.
  2. Absolutely troublesome performance by coaches and O-line. The only argument in their defense is with Singletary ,who should have been wearing a dress as timid as he was, the D-line pinned their ears and just brought pressure. A semblance of a running attack would have slowed them a little. The other argument is its one terrible game.
  3. Great signing, Mongo is the physical mentality and enforcer on the O-line. I'll bet JA loves having him back.
  4. I agree with your assessment of his value. He's a superior returner but is the difference between him and a late rd. draft choice worth the cap hit. Probably not, but McKenzie will get as much or more because he's more valuable as a receiver and jet sweeps guy.
  5. This Beane knows how to keep assets and use the cap. I'm a believer.
  6. Bottom line Smoke was a tentative shell of the player he was in 2019 regular season. I wish him well but we can do better, for the money. Sorry Smoke, we're trying to win a championship.
  7. Great signing, affordable and cap friendly. He never got paid commensurate with the top guys, hometown discount. I'm a big fan of this individual.
  8. Reiff would be the key offensive acquisition in the AFC east if we could fit him in our cap. What a mauler.
  9. Sanders would be a star with Josh. Could you imagine being a team that plays man coverage against these receivers? Sanders would give us the vertical threat Smoke was year one.
  10. Klein becomes a starter with Milano gone. He can be effective if used properly. Something they didn't do until late in the season.
  11. How about winning an AFC title game first before comparing him to Marv. That being said he shows some good potential. His performance in the championship game was disappointing and he'd probably agree.
  12. Tevin Jenkins is the only choice if he's there. This guy will spearhead the resurgent run game and will be impactful day one for the rest of the decade.
  13. Zero if he insists on being paid like the best LBs in the NFL. We're trying to win a championship, Matt didn't do enough in the last four years to warrant overpaying. There are multiple positions that require upgrading and to me Williams needs to be resigned more importantly.
  14. This deal will be a comp for Josh's contract. Jerry got worked and the Cowboys have sealed their fate for the next 5 years. How you pay this injured, underachieving gentleman more than names like Wilson, Rodgers, and Watson is indicative of the incompetence running the organization. Hopefully we can get Josh on a deal that allows us to surround him with some talent. Dallas has 6 players making just under 65%of the whole cap.
  15. Bills D-line is just OK. They can generate pressure if they blitz, but Addison, Epenesa ,Murphy and the interior lineman can't do it effectively. Maybe if Hughes had another sack guy on the opposite side, we could get consistent pressure. The difference between getting pressure with the D-line only is huge for the LBs and the back end..
  16. There was plenty of that for sure, but he personifies the gunslinger in professional football. An easy guy to root for.
  17. Fitz did more with his talent than the vast majority of QBs with more God-given ability. He played QB with an understanding of what defenses were trying to do and instinctively responded well. He plays with a joy and deep respect for his teammates. He was wanted by GMs for his durability and team first attitude. It's a shame he couldn't get to the post season. He's a fun watch. QBs that played behind him, benefit by his guidance.
  18. Great news. This player along with Poyer bring the physicality a veteran has to exhibit for the young players on the roster. A solid leader who wants to win and is not obsessed with personal stats.
  19. Jonnu Smith is the better choice. Rudolph is on the other side of the mountain and misses games. We need availability.
  20. Great, by far the most productive D-lineman and plays his best in big spots. Bring in a quality FA to line up on the opposite side and watch everyone on the back end get better.
  21. Based on leverage being the best option for the next season. To me, he is not worth signing or franchising. He's coming off 2 radical ankle surgeries and hasn't been great since his rookie year. If Jerry signs him for Mahomes or Watson money the Boys will be mediocre for the foreseeable future. Couldn't happen to nicer folks.
  22. What a blessing, to have your mom united with you in your love for the Bills. Sorry to lose her. Hang in there.
  23. I love Kyle for us. He's durable, productive rushing the QB, defending the run and being a leader. Get him on a 2 yr. deal and don't look back.
  24. Great news, the cheaper, younger and healthier options might enable us to get an extra position need covered. His injury concerns make him a high risk gamble at the #s he wants.
