  1. Harty is not a vertical threat anymore and that’s what he was brought in for. He’s not a return man and that’s what they’re asking him to do. We don’t have a Hines type replacement in house. Sherfield is a good slot receiver but in Dorsey’s offense, he’s invisible. This team is spinning their wheels but with Josh, they always have a puncher’s chance.
  2. Wake me up when Miller makes a play to help us win. The guy gets herded away from the passer and can’t make the turn. He’s eating 20 million of cap space and he’s pushing 35. With Tre, Milano, Jones and Miller not contributing, who the hell scares anyone on our defense. Our safeties are above average but have no turnovers. Our corners are below average and committ too many penalties and our LBs are just OK. We can’t get pressure with our down lineman so we have to bring 2 extra rushers. The Bengals destroyed those blitz packages. It’s the defense.
  3. Rousseau is light in the pants. He can’t pressure the QB and although he blocks an occasional pass, his slight frame makes him a liability in the run game. Lawson and AJ have been more impactful.
  4. If you’re being objective, Sean’s decision to challenge had such a small chance of being successful with the ball obviously hitting the ground and being ruled incomplete on the field, it was a gift to the Bengals. He’s not a coach that aggressively tries to win a game. He’s coaching as if he’s got a top 5 defense. In 4 straight games, his defense has allowed a team to come right down the field and score at the end of the game or in the Giants case, get left at the 1 yd line when Johnson’s PI wasn’t called. If Sean can’t stop a team on defense, he’s got to go.
  5. It’s the same reason he challenged the 9 yd pass play in the 4th qtr, and frittered away our crucial TO. It’s because he’s a poor game day decision maker and he’s super conservative and doesn’t understand offensive rhythm and how it’s created. I want to believe we can win games in spite of his shortcomings but if his defenses are unable to make stops, he’s holding us back.
  6. I hope you have more patience with your loved ones than with team you supposedly root for. Somehow I doubt it. Remember your silly remarks when the team has success. Thanks for wasting everyone’s time.
  7. Of course it’s because the 1st and 2nd read is not open. Did you see the accuracy and amazing play in the 2nd half on the 3 long drives? It coincides with up tempo offense and what Dorsey should be running from the beginning. Why are people on this board blaming Josh for a game that we’re defenseless against offenses that we were shutting down previously.
  8. Your stench compromises this forum. Please save us your analysis of draft picks after the fact. You denigrate the players, the team’s record over a 4 year period and your fellow fans that represent a great fan base in a small market.. You’re just an angry person, unhappy with your own underachieving life and you lash out with silly remarks hoping to get someone to agree with you. Imagine someone critiquing your working life, telling you what an abject failure you are. No one takes you seriously but when you frivolously write these ultra talented, driven athletes off, many of whom are devoted to community service, you embarrass this entire forum.
  9. I would love to have you put up a grand to put some skin in the game and get you to root against the Bills, because you’re so sure they’re finished. Sadly, your thing is posting nasty, inflammatory remarks on the board to be outrageous. You’re just a simple troll with issues you can’t resolve in a normal way. When the team wins another division have the testicles to come back and look foolish. By the way, how many teams won the SB in the last 4 years? The answer is 3. 2 of them are fighting for last place in weak divisions and have had losing records since their SB year. That leaves KC . Our record for the last 4 seasons is better than any other team in the AFC other than KC. Wait for the season to play out for all the other teams who are making moves, to crash and burn.
  10. With fans like you, who needs enemies. What a fair weathered snowflake. Just jump ship at the first sign of turbulence. Fire everyone, trade JA17 , give up on the season, burn whatever Bills gear you have. You need to bleed internally like Jet and Giant fans and fans of most NFL teams, that would give their house to have a team like the Bills. What denial, their defense is without their core players( Tre, Milano, Jones and Miller is a shell of himself still. They’ll still win 10 games and be a tough out in the playoffs. I guess 4 division titles and 4 playoff wins don’t get you much cred when you’re behind in the division, mid season, by a game. Save your whining for the guys in the bar ingrate.
  11. It won’t happen because Beane and the Pegulas are loyal to Sean, but Dabol or someone like him would be perfect for the team plus Josh loves Dabol.
  12. That game was one of the worst officiating displays of recent memory. Now you can’t dismiss their inability to get to Burrow with extra rushers and him carving them up for 3 scores in the 1st half. The Bills offensive prowess came out in the 2nd half. The work of Dion, Kincaid, Shakir, Cook, Jackson should not be dismissed. We lost our MLB and Hyde for a chunk of the game. It wasn’t a great game for the defense and the Bengals are on a roll but between bad calls , no calls and an unfortunate fumble, we were right there. If we can get healthy, I’m confident we turn things around.
  13. I’m sure you’re a loyal fan but stop reading complicated psychological issues into the guy who is completely responsible for any success we have. His HC, OC are impediments to success. Are you hearing any teammates or coaches criticizing him. The guy comes out plays through injury, becomes our running game and watches as our defense allows the opposition’s offense to go up and down the field. He talks to the other QB and the QB coach when he needs to. In the 2nd half he put the team on his back and lead 4 long drives. Without the fumble, that game could have been tied.
  14. It probably wasn’t the difference because I don’t trust this decimated defense to get a stop in a must situation, but that challenge was an indication of how clueless Sean is on the offensive side of the ball. The loss of the TO was so much bigger than the 9 yard gain called on the field. It was close on review but they never change that call. Who’s telling Sean to challenge that. This team has a Sean problem and it’s a big disadvantage. Hopefully we can win some games with sheer talent.
  15. It’s becoming painfully obvious that Sean is not the HC for this offensive oriented team. His defense is not nearly as good as it has been and certainly not as good as 6 teams in the AFC(Cleveland, Cinn, Baltimore, KC, Pitt, NY)His conservative approach to offense is hurting us on that side of the ball. He’s got to go and let the next offensive minded HC pick his OC.
  16. Does Sean have any idea how to play the Bengals. They march down the field with ease.
  17. It’s important from the standpoint of getting momentum but with us getting healthier and our new additions learning their role, we could peak in the coming weeks. Agreed, this would be a statement game.
  18. Love the analysis, hopefully we see the physicality and the experience pay dividends against the Bengals. We have to knock these clowns down a peg because they think they can dominate us after that collapse in our building. This is our opportunity to establish who we are in the hierarchy of the NFL. Up tempo, no huddle has to be the path to overcoming their defense. On defense, make sure Chase doesn’t wreck the game.
  19. Well put, and I think it will give the locker room a big boost.
  20. I think Beane realizes this roster took a step back with the 3 big defensive losses. As a fan who never expected him to be aggressive. and then watch him cover 2 positions with proven quality, I am appreciative.
  21. He ended up making a deal that we desperately needed. I’m not saying he’s motivated by social media but you can only get eliminated early so many times before the fan base turns on you. He’s tying his future to Sean and with Offensive HCs winning SBs in today’s NFL. Sean’s game day decision making is starting to become glaring problems. Examples are the defense played against NE in the 4th qtr and the ultra conservative offensive calls that set up the “Hail Mary” that could have lost us a game we should have won easily. So Beane has to fortify the roster. for the Bills to have any chance.
  22. Why the righteous indignation towards a fellow Bills fan who expects a GM to actually make a move when we suffer catastrophic injuries. Who knows, he might even care what the customers think. Thankfully he’s got people like you, Rat person, who discourages any descent.
  23. Funny you referenced LB and not our primary need, CB. Minn. needed aQB, they got one. Seattle needed a tackle, Leonard Williams, Philly needed a safety, they got an all pro, SF needed a DE,they got a 1st rd drafted Chase Young, the Bears wanted an elite DE, Montez Sweat. Jacksonville lost an OL and got one. If you are relevant and ready to deal draft picks, there’s a trade partner available. Beane got a good corner because he knew the fans would destroy him if he did nothing with his track record of not being active at the deadline.
  24. I don’t think anyLBs were moved at the deadline. At least we can match up better with some of those elite receiver teams (Cinn, Philly, Miami even Dallas)
  25. He’ll be a throw in another deal with a corner needy club. Maybe his agent can find a team willing to give him another shot.
