  1. He said he just need a training camp to get ready and he’s be one of the best slot WR’s in the NFL!?!?!?
  2. No one will admit it but Irsay and Ballard played this perfectly. Teams thought the situation was so bad they’d be desperate to get rid of Taylor for anything. They stood pat and waited for the others teams (namely Miami) to meet their demands. When they couldn’t get the value they wanted, they simply put Taylor on PUP. This buys them more time up until the trade deadline. The Colts are restarting with a new coach and rookie QB and aren’t expected to content. They hold all the cards here. https://x.com/nicereedsteve/status/1696615853343531471?s=46&t=8ZEIwokTeanemk54SQ608g
  3. You should hold a vigil in Buffalo to get Vigil in Buffalo.
  4. Maybe we should move Dawkins to the Right and Spencer Brown to the left. What could possibly go wrong!?!?!?!?!?
  5. Were they the same “sources” from Miami fans that claimed Jordan Poyer had verbally agreed to contract? 😂 I don’t buy this for a second. Only because in his 6 years as GM, Brandon Beane has never invested a significant asset in the RB position. Not a high draft pick (unless you consider Cook in the late 2nd) and certainly not a multi-year contract. Do you honest this they will trade premium picks for Taylor and make him among the highest paid at his position? Not a chance. Draft pick miss percentage….It’s a very scientific process At a high level maybe…but like I said, I think he’s good enough to be a fringe starter. And you’re sleeping on his ability. He’s better than you give him credit for.
  6. There’s a good chance the Bills lose Epinesa and I think they are likely ok with it. I don’t think you’ll ever AJ as a starting DE on most rosters. I do think he can be one of those depth ends that comes off the bench to spell players, pitch in on ST, and maybe to start in a pinch. As far as him “budding,” I just don’t see it. People have been expecting a breakout season for him the past two years and we basically get the same type of player. He’s solid player but completely replaceable
  7. Disagree about Damar sucking. You have to remember that he was a 6th round draft pick in his second season and starting for the first time. IIRC the Bills tried starting Jaquan Johnson after Hyde was injured. He had 4 years in the system and was terrible. Damar stepped in and while he wasn’t perfect, he was good enough to steady the ship. Damar played the run pretty well and even caused what could have been a game changing fumble against NYJ. Where he struggled at times was defending against the past. The Bills gave up more long balls than I remember, and a big reason why IMO is the absence of Hyde. He’ll probably never be an All-Pro or even a player you bring in to start. But I see him as a capable fringe starter somewhere in the NFL
  8. It reminded me more of how they used Cole Beasley in 2020. He’d take advantage of the attention paid to Diggs and get open for some “easy button” throws end up with about 7-8 yards. I remember reading some NFL executives say that Harty was a better route runner that he gets credit for. I’m hoping he can be used in a similar fashion
  9. Erik Turner from Cover 1 is someone that doesn’t really publicize his information but I find that more times than not, he’s correct. He has sources w/ the team He said to expect Williams to miss some time and that Edwards should be fill in admirably. I’m thinking McDermott announces him as “week-to-week” tomorrow. Though it should be interesting to see if they put him on PUP https://x.com/erikjturner/status/1694839455645946023?s=46&t=8ZEIwokTeanemk54SQ608g
  10. I’m surprised he ranked so highly in terms of talent evaluation. He hit on Josh which was huge but if you look at the rest of his picks, you have several good but not great players - at least up until point. He doesn’t have the All Pro selections on his resume as some of the other GM’s do
  11. The Bills were in on signing him a few years ago, and it really makes you wonder whether he was in contention to potentially succeed Edmunds. I think he would be a better fit for the team than Dodson or Klein.
  12. This has to be the reason. Given the condition of Kim, it makes sense for Terry to streamline and focus his interests. Also the profit margin for a struggling small market team who hasn’t seen the playoffs in a decade plus can’t be great. I think Terry wants to focus all of his time, energy, and resources on the Bills
  13. We do know that he called on Trey Lance, so it’s definitely possible that the Bills are looking to see if they can find an upgrade. As far as being “very concerned,” I’m not so sure
  14. Tim Graham said that he regards Sean McDermott and Josh Allen along the top leaders since covering NFL/NHL two plus decades ago. He listed McDermott behind Bill Belichick and Bill Parcells.
  15. Maddy is kind of meh for me. Seems like a nice enough person but doesn’t add much as a host. I can’t say that I really enjoy Chris Brown. He doesn’t really say anything I find insightful and never has a very strong opinion on anything. I know he was suspended a few summers ago for what he reported, so maybe he’s overly cautious. I do enjoy listening to Sal. He too does kind of seem to walk the line when it comes to criticism of the Bills. He’s more critical than Brown, but stops short of really giving a strong opinion like he does with other teams/players.
  16. I think there’s a decent chance Klein initially makes the 53 until Bernard shows he can play MLB. Dodson’s performance today was very concerning and I don’t see how he can be anything more than a situational player and special teamer.
  17. Sounds like he was too comfortable working under Kim.
  18. This is the exact quote from the article. It also listed that Raccuia was “unapologetically aggressive” in his business dealings: Three people with direct knowledge of the Bills’ stadium negotiations said Hochul grew to despise Raccuia’s tactics and said she contemplated requesting his absence from meetings. One of those sources quoted Hochul as calling Raccuia’s methods “arrogant” and “obnoxious.” Hochul’s press office didn’t respond to a request for comment from The Athletic regarding this story.
  19. https://theathletic.com/4738337/2023/08/05/buffalo-bills-front-office-ron-raccuia/?source=user_shared_article The departure of Ron Raccuia, the public face of the new stadium, took a lot of people by surprise - including Ron himself. Tim Graham spoke with 11 sources within PSE who said that Terry personally fired Raccuia for a number of reasons. He was said to be “obnoxious” and “arrogant” in his business dealing and reportedly turned off NY Gov. Kathy Hochul during negotiations. It seems that Terry simply was not as fond of Ron as Kim had been. After Kim was out of the building due to her health, Ron assumed her responsibilities, and Terry was not pleased with hid communication and other things. Graham also mentioned that PSE is on the hook for overages, and it appears the new stadium could cost nearly 500,000M more than the original estimate Raccuia put together. Again, something he might have not been happy with. According Graham’s sources this was NOT Raccuia’s decision. He had planned to retire to California in 2026 after the new stadium was finished. He allegedly felt “blindsided” by the firing. Also the sale of ADPRO to Legends was said to not be related to this move. I would read the full article for more details: I think there are questions to be raised with PSE. This move kind of reminds me of what happened with the Sabres. Rather than hiring people from outside to fill departures they just promote and shuffle around the staff they already have. Terry has assumed mote responsibility since the firing.
  20. Marv is the man. I saw a recent interview with him and while he’s finally starting to show his age he still has that sharp mind.
  21. Its wild and it shows that the draft can be a crapshoot - not only based on the player’s ability to translate into the NFL but circumstances like injuries etc. I remember that coming out of the draft in 2017 there were analysts who said Howard was a “can’t miss” prospect at TE. His early years showed promise but after a few injuries and the torn ACL he was a shell of himself. ”Can’t miss” prospect in 2017 Career likely over in 2023. The life of an NFL player
  22. His comments were funny he was like “yeah I did a ***** job last season, but a fellow coach isn’t supposed to say that out loud!” Hackett does seem like the good guy that everyone says he is. As an OC…I think he’s ok
  23. I saw some Bengals and Dolphins fans claim that Apple locked down Diggs. He really didn’t, Josh just couldn’t get him the ball. Apple is a bad cornerback and everyone who follows Cincy will tell you he was only playing last season due to injury. There’s a reason he was still unsigned before yesterday. It’s not because he was being selective
  24. I was just trying to relay the reporting of Tim Graham who claims that there were many at OBD and in the locker room that were uneasy with Araiza remaining with the team.
