  1. There’s a lot of time left this season BUT if things go sideways the first domino will be Dorsey at the end of the year and the Bills will bring in an OC to “fix” Josh
  2. I think Dorsey should get some blame but the bigger problem last night was Josh. Dorsey gave him answers and he didn’t talk them
  3. there is truth to this. But I think it’s crazy to give Josh a pass. Josh is as big as problem as Dorsey is, if not more
  4. I don’t think it’s about getting in his face but I do think there is something to the way that Daboll had a calming influence and could reel him back in when necessary. I don’t think Dorsey is like that and that Josh sees him more like a fellow QB than a coach
  5. I didn’t think Tre played poorly at all. He missed one shoe string tackle which happens. Other than that you didn’t notice him in coverage which is a good thing
  6. I’ll give him credit for driving down the field for FG on the last possession. But he also fumbled the ball in Jets territory leading to a deficit. He also threw 3 very bad INTs into coverage that killed drives. Anytime a team loses its really never on one player or coach. But in this case, the majority of blame falls on Allen. Your $250M franchise QB can’t play that bad. Even Josh admitted that If you scroll Twitter you will see a plethora of plays where Josh tries to do too much. He bailed on the pocket when he didn’t need to, threw into coverage when he had open receivers, bypassed running into open spaces to hold onto the ball. As much as I’m not sold on Dorsey. He gave Josh some answers on short hot routes. Josh just didn’t take them.
  7. Everyone takes a backseat to Josh, who single-handedly lost this football game
  8. He played a better individual game than Josh Allen
  9. Since the team has gotten good I get so anxious on game day. TBH I don’t really like how much the the outcome of the game can effect my mood. But once you’re a fan there’s not much you do
  10. I agree. McDaniel is very good with play design which is part of the reason why you saw some many open WR’s last season. Also he’s helped Miami develop a decent running game despite not have a great OL or and a low-end RB I also think he’s a big reason why Tua played so well last season. IMO it isn’t as much about him as a QB, as it is about the offense McDaniel built based on his strengths. As a head coach, I think he’s very corny though he’s sometimes his comments are funny. So many have made the comparison to Rex Ryan in that aspect which I have to agree with.
  11. I came away from this game thinking not overly impressed with Detroit. They had one very good drive but aside from that the offensive game plan wasn’t great. Hutchinson was a beat defensively and KC got away with so many calls. Still, if Toney doesn’t drop those passes they might not get the W. Overall I see Detroit in a similar position as last season. Good news for them is that the teams in their division are relatively weak
  12. I don’t think happens. If all goes well both Dodson and Spector will be special teamers and reserve MLB’s. Dodson is better on ST and at MLB. I don’t see the Bills cutting him for Spector.
  13. Did you ever noticed how despite being a local home-grown athlete and an legendary uncle who is synonymous with the franchise, Kelly never got any kind of tryout with the Bills? The rumor was that Jim advocated for the t Bills to stay away from Chad since he’s be surrounded by some many old vices and bad influences. Many believe that John Elway taking as the final pick in 2017 was done as a favor for Jim. The crazy thing is that even after sabotaging his career multiple times, Chad’s NFL stint was progressing well in Denver until Von’s Halloween party
  14. I think Wyatt Teller is the reason why the Bills have gotten behind Spencer Brown. Unfortunately, I don’t see Brown as “the next Wyatt Teller”
  15. All Pro Boogie Basham? I don’t know about that…while Boogie definitely looked better than he had in previous years, the bottom line was that he couldn’t beat out UDFA Kingsley Jonathan. Even if he did, he would be the 5th or 6th DE on the team. Even with a DL rotation, where was he going to get snaps? If anything I think he could be the next Isaiah Hodgins. A player that was buried on the depth chart with the Bills that left for a team which gave him more opportunities that he made the most of. I’m sure some fans will continue to whine about it too. Some fans will point to Isaiah Hodgkins. He turned out of be a solid WR with NYG, but he’s far from an All-Pro
  16. This is an establish fact. There are beat reporters that said his pickup would often leave the facility around 4:30 PM. Plus we know he drove to Cleveland with Rob to watch the WS on Wednesday - usually the biggest day of preparation during the week
  17. IMO it was a talent issue. It was Allen throwing deep, or to Allen-to-Diggs and really nothing else. The biggest problem was the OL. The pass protection was so poor that Josh had no trust they could do the job. He was so used to scrambling for his life, he’d bail on pockets that he didn’t need to. Complimenting a poor OL was a lack of any kind of running game. Even with light boxes, the OL could barely move anyone. Then it was a talent issue at WR. This year the starting slot WR - Isaiah McKenzie might not even make the roster in this years WR room. Hoping the new weapons and experience give Dorsey more answers
  18. This is a good point. Even if he’s not as good as Edmunds last season, I think it’s very plausible that he’s a better overall option than Bernard and much better than Dodson. It sounds like, at worst, Kirksey is a better version of AJ Klein
  19. If the last preseason game is any indicator, you saw a lot of quick passes to Hardy to move the chains and an improved running game. I think this is definitely going to be part of their game next season.
  20. Where was the article!?!?!? LOL In regard to Dorsey, Tim Graham made some interesting points how he could could be set up better for success this season. The fact that McDermott has taken over some defensive play calling duties takes a little pressure off Dorsey and maybe gives him a little more space/freedom - as more of McDermott’s time will be spend on defense. Every position in 2023 is stronger than 2022, which should open more possibilities and give him a stronger counterpunch. Dorsey will have a year’s worth of experience as OC which should help him next season. Yes and no. Numbers can be a little deceiving. The Bills offense was largely boom or bust last season, especially toward the final few weeks. You also saw more games where turnovers or bad drives allowed teams to crawl back into games - such as the wildcard playoff game. The good news, is I feel a lot of this was derived from the fact that the Bills had a liability at LG and RT last season, as well as some limitations with what the available weapons could do. Hopefully the new additions help take care of this.
  21. I love how @Buffalo619jumped on the Bills like they made a mistake getting rid of him 😂 I’m happy for Cody and not trying to downplay him making the team. But it’s not like Cody was named the starter. He’s the 4th OT on the team, a position he was removed from in 2019 because he struggled against athletic edge rushers. Still he deserves credit for working hard and making the team after two disappointing stops in Buffalo and Arizona.
  22. From what I read, he was having a very good preseason, which doesn’t mean much considering he was playing with backups against backups. BUT Kyle Allen was I a. Similar situation and didn’t look so great…so who knows? I think the KC intel angle is somewhat overplayed.
  23. 1992!?!?! You were an early adopter. How did everyone compile the stats?
