  1. The Cossell interview was so weird. Right off the bat she started asking him about Jacksonville, without discussing his thoughts on the previous week’s game as usual. Greg was like “whoa have you guys come down from your big win last week already?” It was like he knew that he should be discussing Miami before Jacksonville and he was trying to get her back on track.
  2. Didn’t Von also say the Bills were signing OBJ?
  3. I think the “locker room cancer” storyline is a bit dramatic though I don’t think he goes from being a healthy scratch with horrendous tape this season to suddenly a superstar in Miami. If I’m a Dolphins fan I don’t hate the trade. They are getting Claypool as a rental for next to nothing. If he helps then great. If not, then they didn’t give up much. It seems like a potential low risk/high reward situation. On the other, I don’t really see how Claypool fits in with the Miami receivers. Are you going to take Hill, Waddle, or a route runner like Berrios off the field for Claypool? Is he better than Chosen/Carcraft? Maybe…but we’re talking about WR4 snaps for a player that doesn’t play special teams. Maybe they are thinking he’s a bigger body who might be a red zone target or a WR for 50/50 balls? It’s possible, but then again these aren’t passes that Tua throws a lot of. Passes in the screen game? Claypool is probably the 4th best WR option on the team, maybe 5th if you line Achane at WR. Overall I don’t think he’ll have that big of an impact in Miami but you can’t fault them for trying.
  4. You really do have to rack your brain to find some of these moments.
  5. Good call on the Houston INT. That goes back to his rookie season though!!!
  6. My view was that he was mostly average which is not a great return for a player you traded up for in Round 1. Out of his entire career I can only think of a few main highlights: - The huge hit on Lamar Jackson that knocked him out of the Division playoff game. - Knocking away a deep pass from Mike Gesicki over the middle in the wildcard game against Miami. - Absolutely crushing a running back causing an incomplete pass in the same game above. Am I forgetting any others?
  7. It’s already happening - I saw a few Bears are asking why Edmunds isn’t stepping up last night
  8. Like Poyer last week, it’s more than likely a good sign that he finished the game injured from a long-term injury perspective. Rosseau may have to miss a week or two, but hopefully he’s fully healed and ready to tear it up again. He’s having a great season
  9. It’s gotta be hard being an athlete in the age of social media and 24 hr news cycles. I would try to do my best to avoid social media during the season but it’s probably easier said that done. If this is his burner account…which is a huge “if”….he didn’t really do much other than defend himself as a player. It doesn’t seem like he said anything too crazy. He didn’t ***** on the fans or trash his teammates or coaches. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but at the end of the day he’s the one living out his dream and making millions of dollars. But man, he was the whipping boy this week. One fans made the comment: ”of course, we drafted the one lineman from Notre Dame who sucks” 🤣
  10. He seemed to be complimentary of the Bills in his interviews which is cool.
  11. There’s a lot of good footage of McGovern handling Javon Hargrave last season. He’s pretty good at pass pro
  12. I think it’s a feeling of reality - knowing that postseason > regular season. It’s nice to win games and division championships but if you aren’t on a roll and/or healthy going into the postseason you end up losing in a division game. Also we know that being the #1 ranked team in power rankings, the team that’s favored to the Super Bowl, or the team with the best DVOA doesn’t guarantee you anything. basically, I think we know a lot can happen but we are taking things week-to-week
  13. There zero chance that Daboll gets fired. He inherited the mess left by Dave Gettleman/Joe Judge and won a playoff game. He’s earned the trust of the org and probably prepped them for a step back like the Bills in 2018. It’s going to take atleast two years before Daboll’s job is in jeopardy
  14. He’s a good player and probably deserves a spot on the 53. His only chance to playing in Buffalo would be multiple injuries. The move to Atlanta is probably the right choice
  15. I have a feeling this will be a close game. I also expect the Bills to come out a bit flat this week. Hopefully the Bills can get the W…I do believe they are the better team
  16. He always seem to say something stupid at the end of each game.
  17. I really hope Dorsey is in contention for head coaching positions. This would mean that the Bills offense was strong all season long - these are good problems to have.
  18. These Miami fans got caught up in the media promoting the offense using words like “historic,” “unstoppable,” and “indefensible.” These were gross exaggerations. Scoring 70 points is quite an accomplishment but the hype led you to believe that this type of offensive explosion would happen every week. I’ve seen a lot of Miami fans down on the team after the loss. The bottom line is they are still a pretty good team - especially offensively and that should be in contention for playoffs, maybe the division. The defense is kind of a mess. I don’t think Fangio has all the right players he wants to run his scheme. But you have to think they’ll get at least a little better
  19. This is kind of a cool story. I can appreciate the dude who had a guilty conscience and returned the ball after he learned the old man had passed away.
  20. There is zero chance of Adams getting traded to Buffalo. There’s no way they can make it work with the cap and they don’t want to pay 2 WR’s top 5 WR money when 1 is going to be WR2. Plus they still believe in Gabe Davis. It’s not happening
  21. The OP didn’t make any good point and was clearly a moron but to their credit some other Fins fans did in that thread
  22. There is something to taking away possessions from Miami. The first time they played last season, the Bills completely controlled the clock the problem as someone else pointed out was turnovers and coming away without points. Defensively they played fairly well with an underhanded crew so it gives me hope they can slow the Miami offense a little. In the end I think it’s going to be a 30+ point shootout
