  1. The thing that bothers me most about Diggs, is that he wants to hold everyone accountable…except himself. No one complained publicly about the playoff exits than Diggs, but this season he had the chance to be a difference maker and instead, was likely the most disappointing offensive player in the field vs. KC. Where’s his accountability?
  2. It’s Diggs. Say what you will about about the end of his tenure, but he was an elite WR playing at an All-Pro level for four-consecutive seasons. The most dominate WR in Bills history, albeit one that didn’t show up in big time playoff games vs. top competition
  3. The hype around Javon Baker reminds me very much of Tank Dell last season. Just about every draft analyst I listen to has said glowing things about him, yet most are projecting him as a 3rd round pick. If he has a good rookie season (like Dell) we’ll all wonder why he wasn’t drafted earlier.
  4. True… but they also deserve a lot of credit for taking a chance of Josh who many analysts predicted would be the next Christian Hackenberg or Paxton Lynch. They also did an outstanding job creating a plan to develop Josh as a QB
  5. I did not get that impression he’s on the hot seat at all. As far as his “narrow-minded” comment what should he have said? Obviously, they’ve fallen short of their goal but he’s trying to put a positive spin of what they accomplished rather than focusing what they haven’t. This is textbook “growth mindset” which he always preaches. As for as job security - go back and watch the locker room video where Beane enthusiastically presents him the game ball in front of the entire team. He’s completely on the same page as McDermott. Then take a look at the flailing Sabres. Pegula probably should clean house - but he’s choosing to show an extreme amount of loyalty and patience. There’s zero change he fires a coach who’s actually successful. Finally, do you think the NFL would put a coach on shaky ground in the competition committee?
  6. A better comp would be the Julio Jones trade which saw Atlanta jump from #27 to #6: Atlanta: 1st round pick 2011 (27) 1st round pick 2012 2nd round pick 2011 4th round pick 2011 4th round pick 2012 Cleveland: 1st round pick 2011 (6) But given inflation you’re probably looking at 3 first round picks and then some which is crazy
  7. The Jets are the latest team to try to win the offseason. Typically this kind of thing doesn’t work out well especially when you rely so heavily on older oft-injured players like the Jets will be this season, but we’ll see
  8. Make Pat Mahomes chip in! LOL seriously, owners are cheap as hell when it comes to this stuff
  9. LOL I could have sworn I saw #69 on the field. Why would they cut him? He was playing pretty well
  10. He played very well last season including the game against Buffalo. I think he’d be a perfect rotational player
  11. He got a lot of mileage out that game and some of the other big plays he’s made. I wouldn’t call him pedestrian. I think he’s a good WR2 but like you pointed out he does have some flaws. My prediction is that he’s the same WR he was in Buffalo.
  12. I’ve seen several different numbers on his usage. Not sure why - guess we have to pick someone to be believe
  13. You can look at this two different ways: Positive. Samuel knows the Brady offense and had his best season with Joe as his OC. He also brings a dimension of speed and explosiveness has been lacking. Brady has also shown that he can utilize the talent better than Dorsey could as evidenced by James Cook, Khalil Shakir, Ty Johnson, and Dalton Kincaid who all came on after he took over. Negative. Samuel runs 70% of his snaps out of slot. The Bills have Shakir who established himself as an upcoming slot receiver. Is Samuel going to take snaps away from a promising player? Also at this point in his career Diggs seemed to trending into more of a slot receiver. You can argue that while Buffalo gets a player with more speed, they now have 3 WR’s best suited for slot WR and not a true outside WR unless you include Hollis. Either way it’s a signal that Buffalo is doubling down on what Brady wants to do on offense. They tried the same under Ken Dorsey and he never found a way to really get the most out of players like OJ Howard, James Cook, or Nyheim Hines. Hopefully that changes
  14. The way that some Bills fans talked about Hodgins in 2022, you would have thought they gave away an All Pro. He did well with the opportunities he was given last season in NY, but this season he struggled to do much of anything. As the NYG receiving corps improved a bit, Hodgins snapped decreased. I think if the Bills were to sign him, he’d be in the same position as 2022 as a WR5/WR6 trying to crack the roster w/o playing special teams
  15. I mean…all the best to Siran Neal but I never understood why he was paid so well. He was ok on Special Teams but no one ever considered among the best in the league. He seemed to be the guy who made it downfield toward the goal line but usually messed up when it came to keeping the ball out of the end zone. He also couldn’t play defense. More times than not when you had Siran Neal in coverage it didn’t end well. This was an easy release for Buffalo
  16. I see him as a bigger, better replacement for Trent Sherfield
  17. Both are decent predictions. I’d bet on the Bills paying a little more for a safety. I know they’ll sign a lower end WR that could start just depends which one. I fully expect the Bills to draft a WR to replace Gabe as well
  18. Best of luck for Poyer. I think he’s still good if you can bring him down in the box but he’s lost a step and it was impossible to keep him at the salary he was signed to.
  19. The longer he’s out there, the lower his cost becomes. I think they could get him on a one year deal for $4M
  20. Read this story and tell me if you feel the same: https://sports.yahoo.com/former-chiefs-assistant-britt-reid-cut-the-line-into-the-nfl-now-he-cut-the-line-out-of-prison-180036459.html It seems like justice wasn’t served for the family and it came under suspect circumstances
  21. You can find a pretty good space eating DT in the mid rounds. That’s what Buffalo needs
  22. Mother of girl injured in Britt Reid crash shocked by commutation https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/39708520/mother-girl-injured-britt-reid-crash-shocked-commutation This is gut wrenching… and I’m sure the pardon has nothing do with Parsons fandom… imagine trying to defend this. Draw your own conclusions… ”Jackson County prosecutor Jean Peters Baker told ESPN last week she would have never agreed to a plea deal if she knew Reid would serve only 1½ years. Parson, a self-proclaimed Chiefs fan, attended the Super Bowl in Las Vegas last month where the Chiefs won their third Super Bowl in four years. He received a tattoo to commemorate their win in 2023. Miller said she was not notified by the governor's office about the commutation, and she said she has not personally heard from Reid or his family since the accident. Asked if she would take their calls, she said "no."
