  1. I’m sure there are some out of market fans who will admit to this. Between Canada, WNY and CNY there’s always been a lot of support for the Bills so while fans might not have followed much pre-Allen, I’m guessing they liked the team. But I do think that Josh is very much responsible for making a lot of casual fans watch the games and pay attention to the Bills more closely
  2. Wait… you mean you don’t read .com for the stellar writing and analysis from Chris Brown and Maddy Glab? I think the difference between then and now is that today all content that used to be exclusive to the website, is now broadcast through YouTube and social channels. So unless you’re looking for static information like the current roster or coaches bio. There’s not much of a need to log onto the website
  3. 100%. Great message brother 🇺🇸
  4. See the 2022-2023 season….
  5. What was his issue last season? I didn’t get the impression is was strength related
  6. Nantz has an affinity for Buffalo. I remember him telling a story how he announced a game after one of his parent died and he was flooded with condolences from Bills fans. Endberg was never my favorite but he was just an absolute pro at whatever sport he was announcing. Between his voice, delivery, and his verbiage he made every event he called special.
  7. Karlos Williams. Man he was a stud as a rookie both running and catching the football. Then I remember Rex joked his g/f was pregnant and he packed on sympathy weight because he was very overweight at minicamp. It must have been bad because he never played a down in year 2 It’s funny how the Whaley 2015 draft went from looking excellent in Year 1, to looking meh in Year 2, to looking like crap in Year 3. I remember in his first start that Thad managed to take a modest lead against New Orleans early in a game and thinking “maybe THIS is our QB.” 🤣🤣🤣
  8. He’ll be a camp buddy fighting for a spot on the PS.
  9. The schedule release is probably the part of the offseason I am least interested in. I couldn’t really give a rat’s arse about. Maybe if I was planning to travel to several out of town games….but I don’t really care
  10. This is why I am very hesitant to expect a significant improvement for last season from Coleman. I do think he can improve but I’m not sure if it’s going to be the big step forward some fans…and possibly Brandon Beane are counting on.
  11. Someone in this very forum called last year’s schedule “historically difficult.” While there were a several tough games, in the end it wasn’t as hard as it looked.
  12. Just like last season when everyone was saying the schedule was a “murderer’s row.” I actually think this year’s schedule could challenging, as some teams that sucked last season could turn it around this year. The good news is, I also feel that Buffalo is better than last season
  13. That is true but IIRC Kansas City was down to a backup CB and Gabe consistently cooked him. It looked like he literally broke in ankles when catching the 3rd TD
  14. Inconsistent is right… maybe the best example of “what could have been?” Best example of Gabe Davis is Buffalo is Week 7 versus the New York Jets in 2022. Josh tears his UCL but still delivered what should have been one of the greatest Hail Mary passes ever to set up a game tying FG. While Gabe beat Sauce Gardiner, he failed tk make the catch. There were times when he would make absolutely HUGE catches - he was incredible at the end of the first half against Indy in the playoffs in 2021. But then he’d just make some killer drops or fail to beat press coverage. Someone once said the playoff game against KC was the worst thing to happen to him. #1 they lost! #2 it raised his ceiling way higher than it should have been. Now it seems like injuries are an issue - as they had been at times in Buffalo as well.
  15. The whole Beane vs. Brett Veach was a topic on “It’s Always Gameday in Buffalo.” Sal felt that Beane drafting was just as good as Veach with some hits and a few Day 1 and Day 2 misses. Bove seemed to think that Veach was better based on the fact he selected 3 All Pro players (Humphrey, Sneed, McDuffie) whereas Beane has 0 currently. I would tend to agree with the latter.
  16. If he has options, I don’t see Gabe jumping at an opportunity to compete for WR4/5 while likely signing a vet minimum. if he’s going to sign for that, he might as well pick a situation where he’ll get a chance to prove himself. If he returns to Buffalo, I think it happens later this summer because of injuries or if Coleman hasn’t made the progress they are hoping for. Plus Gabe has an injury now, and it might make more sense for him to try out at full strength
  17. Wasted opportunity with your title: ”Can Da Pope save Da Bears”
  18. I’ll pass…DE is a position where there’s a ton of competition already. I don’t need a major role for Clowney this season.
  19. I’m not the biggest Kincaid fan, but I will let the season play out and not overreact from one photo. BUT if he can’t improve with his blocking from last season, it’s going to be really hard for him to get many more snaps. At this point, it’s looking like his ceiling might be close to a player like Dalton Schultz
  20. Last week at the draft either EDC or Harbaugh said the same thing - no matter what they do it will be a “football decision.” Makes you wonder whether this is a proactive attempt to save them from any potential legal action if the allegations go unfounded
  21. If anything, this list tells me that week 1 is a liar 🤣 Still, there’s been some really openers. I was glad to see 2019 ranked highly. Up until that point, most assumed that Allen and Darnold were going in opposite directions. I remember thinking how Buffalo never was able to win games when facing a large deficit. Coming back from that 16-0 hole was huge.
  22. I was downtown at a bar with some friends, that were not Bills fans. I was assuming an ass kicking was in order and had been bracing myself for the 💩 I was going to be getting that day. By the end, they were like “Wow, the Bills are legit this season.” Little did we know…
  23. I have a great one. Buffalo versus NYG, opening night on Sunday Night Football on TNT in 1996. Game was not that memorable. Bills won 23-20 with an OT field goal by Christie. Just remember it because I watched with my dad and we celebrated once the kick went through. And yes, I was at the home game against Miami. Before I even got to my seat Williams had scored and it was 7-0. Once Moulds caught that TD pass I remember the PA announcer playing “Let it Snow” as a very light snowfall started moments earlier. The entire stadium was signing let it snow. It was a great moment and a textbook example of the amazing game experience for fans in December
  24. This really isn’t true. Lorenzo White was a pretty good running back and he gained over 1,200 yards in 1992. In 1993 his replacement due to injury Gary Brown went for over 1,000.
  25. The amount of guaranteed money will determine how likely he is to make the roster. IMO he doesn’t sign with Buffalo without having a reasonable assurance. I think he takes a lot of snaps on the outside, especially considering that I don’t think will see a different version of Keon Coleman than we saw last season His problem was route running and not getting separation a lot more than it was missing contested catches.
