  1. Sell: everyone who knows what the weather is like in Buffalo in January and complains about it anyway.
  2. Sal answered this question - it’s something about the clock stopping inside 5:00 minutes.
  3. Achane had a big game? He rushed 10 times for 56 yards which was boosted by a 21 yard TD. They held him in check the rest of the time. The whining about the weather is one of the most annoying parts about Bills fans.
  4. It only there was a strong armed QB who could throw the ball in all types of weather
  5. Tom Brady definitely came out on top in the whole “who made who” talking point. Bill is still an excellent defensive coach but he is clueless and outdated when it comes to running an offense. He’s also extremely consecutive in his game day approach. In these areas it seems like the game has passed him by. The problem with any team than wants to hire him is that he will require GM/roster control. He’s operated that way for decades and has the cache to earn the right. But over the past 4 years he’s shown that he is really bad with personnel - especially offensively. Look at the draft picks and free agents he brought to the team. Almost none of them worked out successfully. These were his solutions at QB since Brady left: 2020: Cam Newton/Brian Hoyer 2021: Mac Jones 2022: Mac Jones (big regressions) 2023: Mac Jones (bigger regression)/Bailey Zappe The other red flag on Belichick is his approach to hiring coaches. He seems to be very insulated and will only hire coaches he personally knows, has worked with in the past, or even his own family. It sounded like his solution to fix the offense was bringing JMD back.
  6. They actually don’t run the ball all that well. The run it with frequency but not with as much success. If the weather affects the pass game and Josh, than how do you think Mason Rudolph is going to perform? “plays like poo?” What are we? Pre-school teachers?
  7. Dan Marino did the same thing in the divisional round and just sliced up the defense passing for over yards. A warm weather team essentially was un-phased coming into cold, snowy Buffalo. It was at that moment when I realized the conditions weren’t as big of an advantage as the media portrayed back then.
  8. You have to let Josh throw the football. He’s proven to be able to do this in all types of weather. THIS IS WHY THEY DRAFTED HIM. There were opportunities for Josh last year - he just didn’t play particularly well. The good thing is that the Brady offense is less reliant on deep shots than it was under Dorsey.
  9. I thought McDaniel came off as a pretty good guy - the players really seem to love him. He seems like he’d be a fun coworker. But I have to agree with what a lot of people are saying about him as a leader. Some of what he says just seems really corny and contrived. He’s also in a horrible position because what can he really say after a loss?
  10. This would be an unbridled disaster. He’s the wrong guy to work with Josh.
  11. You are completely right from a logic standpoint but I get it. All sports super fans develop this really mindset where you think the entire world and your own personal happiness hinges on the result of game. I’m in this group and I can tell by the thread titles and responses here - you all are too. I’ve been wondering how I personally got myself wrapped up this so bad, where a loss could drastically affect my mood for a day or two. It’s pretty crazy. I think Bills fans are not different than other sports franchises who have been relatively unsuccessful the past 2 decades or who have never won a world championship. You are happy to see success but want to see the team capitalize on the ultimate goal because it could be a “once in a lifetime” event (again that sounds ridiculous…but you know) So every thing intensifies. You think that this might be the team’s best or only chance to win a championship. Also there’s someone fans of these kind of teams do to almost protect themselves. The second the ride is a little bumpy, everyone thinks the worst case scenario as a way to protect themselves from getting disappointed. You always think the other shoe is going to drop and the team is “cursed” if they don’t win. Whether you are position or negative going into the game, a loss is going to suck regardless. So why not just try to be positive? much easier said than done.
  12. Right after we hire Ben Johnson to be QB Coach….
  13. It’s so weird considering he’s been caught on camera in college and then at least two times against the Bills. The league should be on the lookout for this
  14. Good point. When Kenny Pickett was running Matt Canada’s offense there was no fear of passing and defense stacked the box. You routinely saw Najee Harris get stuffed for 2 yard gains each time.
  15. It’s also very hard to beat a team three times in a year. I’d still probably pull for Miami. They just have such terrible injury luck. They’ll get back Mostert and Waddle which will help but neither will be 100%. Hill likely is not 100% either. Then there’s a defense who will be missing 4-5 starters, and a key utility player in Van Ginkel. It’s not impossible to get a win at Arrowhead but if they do, they then have to travel to play Baltimore after a bye week. I just think it will be an incredibly path and if they can make it into the AFCCG, they easily could run out of steam.
  16. Ugh that’s what 90% of people who read the article took away. The majority of the article was negative toward McDermott including several personal insults. They don’t call the series “The Tyler Dunne Hit Piece” for nothing
  17. The problem was that Dunne attempted to paint a narrative that McDermott was a dictator who ran a toxic environment that payers and coaches were unhappy with. That too was proven to be untrue.
  18. Really the articles ended up hurting Dunne. I’m sure he got a little bump in subscribers but is also solidified him as the “hit piece” guy. Last week both Pat McAfee and Mike Florio said the “Tyler Dunne hit piece.” In the end, McDermott came out looking better He’s the hot piece guy
  19. The lack of confidence among some in their fan base is surprising. Tua was the MVP four weeks ago, now he’s a fraud. McDaniel went from offensive genius to getting fired! How McDaniel built the entire offense around Tyreek is special. He’s one of the best offensive minds in my opinions. Is he a great game day coach? It too early to tell, but he’s made the playoffs in back-to-back seasons in his first two season so he’s earned more time. I think Tua is very limited as a QB. He’s proven to be above average but he needs a lot of things going to well to be successful. Miami is in a tough spot as far as a new contract. They might be hopeful the takes a Daniel Jones contract which pays him well but not in the top 5 QB salaries. They aren’t keeping Fields. Most have them taking Caleb Williams. Also they are keeping Matt Eberfluss as HC so… good luck with the astute team
  20. “Vegas fired coach” 🤣🤣🤣
  21. My problem was that people were blaming EVERYTHING on McDermott and calling him Dick Jauron with Josh Allen. He’s a very defensive coach and seems to be growing as a HC as well.
  22. This was an ugly game but man it was such a big win. If the Bills lose, they play Miami again with Waddle and Mostert missing Rasul Douglas and Tyrel Dodson. Also they likely will be missing Gabe Davis too. IMO I think Miami would have a good shot at winning the rematch. Now the Bills need to focus on beating the Steelers
  23. He was for it on 4th down 3 times and I agreed with all of them.
  24. It’s impossible not to. Unless McDermott plays to jam up the cellular service and wi-fi at Hard Rock Stadium, they’ll already know
  25. The sad part is people were saying the last thing about Eli last year. Steph and Gabe both beat him a number but Josh couldn’t get the ball to them, so Eli got the last laugh and got to pretend he played a good game.
