This is going to be another game against Kansas City that Ed Oliver will be MIA. It always happens when faced the interior of Kansas City. He never does anything.

Poach LB Kwon Alexander from Denver Broncos's Practice Squad?
JohnNord replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not a fan of this move given the current LB room. Since he’s on a PS, we’d have to sign him to the 53. That means Buffalo would need to release someone. Matt Milano is likely back after the bye which will drastic cut down Dorian Williams snaps. Spector probably returns a few weeks after. That means the first and second LB units are set. The Bills won’t cut Buffalo Joe or Eddie Ulofosio. Maybe they could swap Nick Morrow but is it really worth it for a 3rd string LB? I’d rather see the Bills sign a David Long type to the PS. -
This was suppose to be a rebuild year

Few Bills fans will admit this but McDermott has done a damn good job this season -

Rams looked like hot hot garbage against Miami. I think they are a tad overrated. The one exception is that Verse kid. He was good. … and the reason the Bills beat Kansas City’s “top tier QB” was because he didn’t have Xavier Worthy the past 3 seasons -
you would even say it glows

LOL I’ll never understand why some people still hold onto this. Everyone on the Buffalo Bills have forgiven Rob for that blatant cheap shot. Hell Tre White even forgave him. Beane would never try to convince to play if there was animosity. It’s funny how just about everyone in Buffalo has moved on with the exception of a few fans. This happened so long ago….let it go

Are The Bears Wrecking Caleb Williams?
JohnNord replied to ExiledInIllinois's topic in The Stadium Wall
Same. It made no sense to retain him after last season. Ryan Poles never drafted Justin Fields and he never hired Matt Eberflus. They should have moved on from both at the same time. here is the problem: -
Better than Carl “Cheifer’s” crew

Seahawks release Tyrel Dodson - UPDATE claimed by Dolphins

Oddly enough because of this the Bills get a 5th round comp pick, and possibly *could* still sign the player they were compensated for losing -
So you thought he coached a great game tonight? I was obviously exaggerating… but J thought he 100% sucked tonight and he was the reason why the Rams sit at 4-5
-
You thought he was a great coach tonight?
-
Did their defense play well? Or was the Rams just awful?
-
To be honest, Miami wasn’t all that impressive on either side of the ball tonight. It was more of an issue of Sean McVay costing his team the win.
-
It was incredibly weak considering there :40 some seconds left. Not sure if the analytics favor it but what’s more likely: - Score a TD and kick a long FG with :39 and no timeouts - Kick a long FG and score a TD with :39 and no timeouts McVay did kicked twice in these situations and it was pathetic. Like I said, if this was Sean McDermott everyone would be saying how bad of a coach he was.
-
I *thought* he was a good coach. But tonight he was pure trash. Between the play calling and decision making he lose the game for his team. Because McVay’s a ***** coach The great coach is not McVay. He sucks
-
I’ve read people where lambaste McDermott’s coaching decisions - what do you think about Sean McVay kicking the FG at the 4 yard line? I thought it was weak. I get the logic that it’s a 2 possession game but it’s a lot harder to score a TD than a FG. When you have the chance to score a TD you go for it. Also if the game plays out the same way with Miami kicking a FG, the Rams have a chance to score the GW TD. I don’t watch much NFC West teams but man, Sean McVay sucks as a football coach.

Sean McVay is a bad coach
-
No doubt they look bad but the Rams have barely gotten beyond the Miami 30. The lone exception was the Tua fumble. Nearly scoring play has been a 50+ yard FG
-
Miami is going to win despite not playing so great. The Rams played like crap on offense. Every play was a check down or a run. Where’s the creativity from boy genius? Stafford also looked every bit his age. This Rams team sucks He looks really bad

Bills-Dolphins was my favorite rivalry as a kid. Kelly vs. Marino… Looking back there was something fun about those Miami teams with Marino, Richmond Webb, Duper & Clayton, John Offerdahl, Keith Jackson, Louis Oliver and later Bryan Cox etc. The fins were very talented but the Bills always had their number. I also think Don Shula kind of sucked as a HC by 1990 too and Marv who was never really a cerebral X-O’s HC always seemed to out coach him in the playoffs. Part of the reason why the rivalry fell off was because both franchises failed to find a decent head coach/QB resulting in perpetual turnover. The Bills seem to have found stability…Miami? To be determined.

The Chiefs have only scored 30 points once this season

Does Jerry Jones fire McCarthy on Monday? The GM too?
JohnNord replied to Mister Defense's topic in The Stadium Wall
He won’t fire him in-season because there’s really no point. Dak is done for the year and the team is just about out of the playoffs barring a miracle. Plus Jerry is unusually loyal to his head coaches compared to other high profile NFL owners. You’d expect him to be more cutthroat but he gave Wade Phillips and Jason Garrett second and third chances when other owners might not. I guess they could get a start on the head coaching search but it’s probably not going to begin for most teams before Week 18 anyway. But to get an idea of the state of the Cowboys go listen to Jerry talk about the glare in Texas Stadium. The reporters were grilling him about the design flaw and he sat there rattling off nonsense about the sun. He seems to proud to try to admit he made a mistake and I feel it’s like that with the football product too
