  1. It’s not about taking sides…I see this as a very sad situation on many levels and don’t have enough information to make definitive statements If the Bills kept Araiza, I am fairly certain he’d be on the NFL exempt list. I just feel that doing so, could likely be a distraction that lingered over the course of the season.
  2. The attorney for the victim is implying that the DA is concealing evidence to corroborate Araiza’s claim:
  3. I would agree that Buffalo made the best choice they could in the situation. I think a big part of the decision too (sadly), was that they wanted to avoid the distraction. Imagine the media circus that would linger all season long if Araiza was on the roster. Just not worth it for a punter. So they erred on the side of caution. With that being said, there still seems to be some degree of uncertainty around Araiza’s role that night. The DA concluded that he wasn’t present during the attack, however when the accusations first came out, his lawyer stated that any sexual contact between the two was consensual. Does this mean he had sex with her first before the attack? It does call into question whether she was inebriated then and whether he knew she was underage. Im wondering if Araiza told the Bills he wasn’t there during the attack and gave them reasonable evidence to back up his claims. But perhaps he did not tell them about interactions which occurred that night. I guess there still are a lot of questions we don’t have answers to
  4. It’s easy to forget that in the famous :13 game versus KC, Brown was destroyed by Melvin Ingram on 4th and 8 on the final Bills TD drive. It basically took good luck and a Herculean effort by Josh to juke him and scramble for a first down. Had it not been for Josh’s scrambling ability, the game couldn’t easily been over on that play thanks the very poor rep from Brown. To make matters worse, he played bad for most of the season last year. I just don’t hold the same optimism that Beane does for Brown.
  5. I’m pretty sure that Torrence and McGovern are starters with Bates as the first sub for all three interior positions. I think Torrence has to have a really bad camp to not get a starting job and I don’t see that happening. It seems like a forgone conclusion that Brown is the starting RT. The Bills have doubled and tripled down on his this offseason. They passed on drafted and signing a veteran RT to push him. The only way Bates played RT is if both Brown and Quessenberry get hurt or injured
  6. There is zero chance that Babylon Spector starts the season at MLB.
  7. IMO what’s missing on this roster is a player that actually push and/or replace Spencer Brown when he eventually sucks this season. I don’t think David Quessenberry is that player. He’s worse that Brown. I would love it if Buffalo could bring in a player like a Wynn and am hoping we can get a better option as a backup than Payne or Quessenberry
  8. Settle is such an odd case because when Buffalo signed him countless Washington fans said how underrated he was. He gets in Buffalo and proceeds to hardly do anything. I’m not sure if he reaped the benefits of playing on a stacked DL in Washington or if he’s just not very good
  9. I wouldn’t be opposed to either signing but if they were going to bring back a veteran DE on a lower-end contract, I don’t think they would have re-signed Shaq Lawson. If anything, I think the Bills might be looking at signing a new RT
  10. Perfect now just trade AJ Epinesa and Boogie Basham
  11. I wanted Ford all along. This is a good signing for Buffalo. For the first time that I can remember Buffalo has 2 very good 1DT in Jones and Ford. Not an overpaid and underwhelming DT in Star Lotulelei. Or a 3DT playing out of position at 1DT - Vernon Butler, Quinton Jefferson, Tim Settle, Jordan Phillips etc. vet excited for this signing I was told by Brandon Beane that Ed Oliver does great things that don’t show up on the stat sheet
  12. This is a really good signing for Buffalo. I would imagine the purpose of this is to stash him on the PS as a “break glass in case of emergency back” either due to injury or due to a RB sucking. I can’t see him active much on game day but given how banged up Damien Harris has been, some veteran injury insurance is not a bad move
  13. I listened to Tim Graham talk about his tweet two months ago which said the Bills were not trading for Hopkins. He said that it appeared Hopkins and his agents were the ones behind these rumors. His friends like Pacman Jones were the ones stirring the pot. His agents were probably the ones speaking to the media as well. This tells you he wanted out of AZ but that they didn’t want to trade or that they knew they couldn’t get enough for him. So from a few reports and Jones appearing on McAfee pushing the narrative it made it seem like a deal was closer than it was in reality. Also I find it interesting that all of the rumored teams interested in Hopkins ended up drafting WR’s (or TE’s in Buffalo) highly.
  14. It’s a joke…laughing at all the Bills fans who believe that garbage
  15. After 268 pages of pure hype for the Hopkins trade…nothing happens? That shows what you get for believing liars on Twitter
  16. Yes but to mixed success. I wouldnt call this the best example of a successful reach
  17. If we’re looking at this on the surface level, it’s a bad pick. For the second straight year in a row it looks at thought they’ve drafted a small athletic LB to play special teams without a path to playing a meaningful role on defense. I hope the Bills know something we don’t
  18. The speculation was that all of the rumors and “news” were coming from the Hopkins camp. Both Buffalo and KC downplayed their interest. Arizona largely kept quiet. But the noise from Hopkin’s group and the frauds who believed it to be fact just gassed up the fan base. Now people are pissed because they believed ECB
  19. Not sure how anyone can make this decision the day after the draft.
  20. You are 100% correct. People in this forum have said “Super Bowl or Bust” and that McBeane is on the hot seat. That is not reality. What is reality is that Ken Dorsey’s job is likely on the line next season. By making the Kincaid selection, they essentially doubled down on him.
  21. I don’t see it this way at all. Everything that we’ve seen from credible sources who aren’t Pacman Jones or fraud fans on Twitter have downplayed Buffalo and KC’s interest in Hopkins. Fans wanted to believe this was a front by both teams but IMO there’s a higher possibility that both weren’t willing to meet the trade compensation or the salary for Hopkins. I tend to think there was not nearly as much interest as Arizona and Hopkins wanted you to believe
  22. This is why I believe BPA vs. Need debate is a fallacy. Teams stack the board based on how they value certain positions based on the makeup of their current roster which essentially is prioritized by need. So is it BPA or Need? It’s both, regardless of what any GM will tell you. Not just QB’s like Levis but also running backs, linebackers - etc. Maybe Detroit really IS using BPA
  23. Bills fans want to believe every rumor that’s out there is legit from Derrick Henry to Hopkins. I think it was always hype from Hopkins camp
