The Freeman signing has all the markings of improving next year's running game. Introduce him to a positive, winning culture, hopefully making him hungry to be a part of it (while the Bills steam roll to the Super Bowl!). Get him into our state of the art facilities, to get him healthy and in shape. In other words, get his mind and body right by August, and Devonta is on his way to being Comeback Player of the Year in 2021. I'd be stunned if they tried playing him in the next few weeks.

Good TEs are consistently good as pass catchers OR they are consistently good blockers. GREAT TEs do both. Knox isn't consistent at either. The drops have not decreased, and the blocking hasn't improved. I say bring in some affordable competition next year, and let him (them?) and Knox fight it out for the TE1 spot. If Knox doesn't improve, keep him at TE2 for 2 more years.

In Beane I trust!! This is all part of his master plan, to install proteges high up in front offices around the league, so he can best them in deals for their most talented players, as they are needed. GENIUS!!

The only way the Browns are beating the Chiefs is if Reid, Bienemy, and the entire Chiefs starting offense gets Covid two days before the game. The Browns nearly blew a 31 point lead to the Titans this past weekend. I know that the Browns took their foot off the gas, but you do that against the Chiefs and Mahomes scores 60!

Every team in the league passed on him at least once, because there were questions about his game translating to the NFL. He's answered those questions (AND HOW!). Good for him. It's not an exact science. If Beane had drafted DK, maybe his development would have taken a different path, since it would be a different coaching staff and QB. You just never know.

Normally I agree with your takes, GB, but I can't here. Murray just barely got the pass off to Fitz on the sideline. He looked rattled in that moment. If we needed the timeout to set up the defense, the Cards needed it 100x more to settle themselves and set up their play. When an opposing offense is without a timeout near the end of a half or game, you do not give them a free one!!

I didn't over look it. I was appalled, as I am with almost all of McDermott's timeouts. It didn't save them time, because it was right after Fitz had stepped out of bounds. What it did was allow a frazzled QB, who had just run for his life and barely got the pass off to Fitz, time to regroup, allowed the Cards coaches more time to organize the hail mary, etc., etc. Our HC is a LIABILITY on the sidelines on game day. It's time we faced up to that. But more importantly, it's time HE FACED UP TO IT!!

It's going to take another 40 burger to win this week. Let's hope Josh and Daboll are clicking as much as they were last week.
