  1. Watching Aaron Donald play his position is a wonder to behold. Watching him do it against the Bills is a nightmare to despise! It reminds me of the early days of Lawrence Taylor back in the early 80s. NFL offenses had to tailor their game plans to at least mitigate the damage he was going to do. I hope Bobby Johnson is burning the midnight oil to come up with some kind of blocking scheme for that monster. Or we're in for a long day.
  2. You'll never see Edmunds on the outside. McD and Frazier want that opposing QB cringing at the sight of that monster in the middle, prior to every snap. And Gase probably considers the end of season tie-breakers in his early season decisions. But real coaches get their teams to bust their asses for every win, and let the tie-breakers fall where they may.
  3. Coaching is all about looking like you're prepared...until they find out you're not. Then you move on to become the Jets' next head coach.
  4. I like Joe. His pod's got good content. I just can't sit through the ever-increasing number of ads to get to it. I'll stick with others who have lesser content, but are satisfied with doing it as a hobby. Besides, it makes me feel smarter that way. LOL
  5. Dallas is where felons go to become the best version of themselves......not Buffalo.
  6. JETSFAN20???? Is that you?? Did you start a new burner account??
  7. I agree. If players start dropping with covid, there will be MORE poaching. But at least 4 players get protected. That'll help.
  8. Billionaires don't get convicted. They just up their campaign contributions.
  9. $7.00????????? You mind if I ask the year? I would want to offend with a guess. LOL
  10. And Josh is making throws beyond the edge of the flat Earth, right??
  11. curmudgeons...but that invokes a sour disposition, like Scrooge. I think you meant blind and bewildered, like Mr. Magoo (Google it, kids).
  12. If it wasn't for the Pegulas, we wouldn't be talking about the Buffalo Bills right now. We'd be talking about the Toronto Bills (or Rockers, or whatever the hell Bon Jovi would've called them). So as far as I'm concerned, I'm indebted to them for life, and they can be as involved as they want to be.
  13. What's the point of winning it all, unless you're willing to take on all comers? Besides, I want to squeeze as many games out of this season as possible.
  14. Don't you get it?? That's exactly what he WANTS you to think!! ?
  15. I suppose they do have cap space now, with all the opt-outs. I think it's good news, if true. It means they're not "Tanking for Trevor". Was there a link to that article?
  16. If you're in the playoffs, you have a chance at a title. Several 6 seeds have gotten hot late, and won it all. If you're picking #1 overall, you are years away from contending. Getting that pick right is step 1 of hundreds in the very near future, in order to get to the playoffs. So, yeah, the answer HAS to be playoffs.
  17. He trolls this forum all the time. We take the high road and do our best to humor him, especially when he says things like...
  18. I was upset when Beane & Co. picked Gabe over Antonio Gandy-Golden. (His college highlight tape was the closest thing I've ever seen to Jerry Rice's at Mississippi Valley State; not saying he's the next Jerry Rice, just the tapes had equal "WOW" factors.) But I also trust Beane. If he picked a worker who will contribute now, and might start in a few years, it'll soon be "Antonio WHO??"
  19. I hear they're having trouble finding health care workers in FL, TX and CA. It probably pays pretty well by now, and according to you it must be a pretty easy gig. You should give it a try.
  20. This^^^^^ If it wasn't clear before, Draft Day 3 should've been an eye-opener to Duke and Foster. Step up your game, or "It's been real!"
  21. I don't need stats to tell me that the O has to get better. Another 6-7 points a game, and we're in business! But 4th quarter comebacks do mean something, regardless of whether the score is (Bills) 7 - (Opponents) 13 or 35-41. Either way, it shows that Josh doesn't wilt down the stretch. He thrives under the pressure of the closing minutes. But @ScottLaw is right. He needs to spread that out over the whole game.
  22. The Bills are loaded on the DL with solid to very good players. None are superstars, although Oliver is on his way. If Addison, Butler and Jefferson are among the final 8-9 left standing after the final cuts, I think they'll hold up well in a platoon system that sees all playing 40-60% of the snaps. Klein should start at weak side LB. Unless Joseph comes on strong and beats him out. Either way, Klein should be a solid contributor. I'm not worried about their cap hits. Beane and his cap gurus have a handle on all of that.
