  1. we’re comparing Devante Parker and Duke Williams now? This crusade is getting weird.
  2. i mean, it’s related to football to the same degree the Russ Brandon scandal and firing was I suppose.
  3. ah yeah I remember that. Probably because it’s not football related and people were comparing Kraft to Jeffrey Epstein and whatnot.
  4. You can just say it but the Sabres have no relevance here. Ownership’s not making these decisions.
  5. Eh. i don't feel too bad. Not as bad as say, san diego or oakland, who are both being stripped of their teams. and of course cleveland gets a bump because of lebron and the title he handed that city.
  6. If we flipped and the bills had a top 3 offense and a lower third defense I think we’d be exactly where the chiefs were last year in the AFC. Maybe one slot lower with the emergence of Jackson in Baltimore
  7. Zero also thought the Chiefs were going to go perfect 19-0 this year so I wouldn’t take him so seriously.
  8. You aren’t serious with this comment are you? Never seen Mahomes play huh. That’s okay.
  9. certainly not a disaster (so far) but it’s too early to say it’s a win-win. I’d think we’d have to wait until Allen gets renewed (or gets to the Super Bowl ?) in order to say that. KC got a MVP QB in the deal, so I have to lean their way right now.
  10. Never asked for a debate, just some clarity. You start a thread on a discussion (key word there) board complaining about complainers and lumping together a wide variety of complaints made by a wide variety of people and saying, what exactly? Can’t tell because you just dismiss anyone asking what you’re actually trying to say. You want all criticisms reserved for losing seasons?
  11. right. So you really don’t have a point. Not one you care to elaborate on at least. Everyone is happy the team is in the playoffs.
  12. i think Motor end up a true no. 1 back someday but besides that I agree. Look what Allen did with just competent receivers this year in brown and beasley. A dominant WR will help immensely.
  13. My theory is that people that are dead set against Allen (and you’re right - there are a few) are lumped together with many more people (like me) who are simply commenting on his struggles and inconsistencies. It’s a bit frustrating just to point out things like his footwork or something else relatively minor for a 2nd year QB and get dismissed, as if I’m implying he can never improve and the bills will always be a WC team at best with Allen at QB. Just my sense on the situation. I’ve seen and commented on his improvements in year 2 and I’ve seen nothing to suggest he’s not going to continue to improve.
  14. what is your point, exactly? That critics should shut up and enjoy the ride? Contribute to the echo chamber or don’t contribute at all? Maybe I missed some nuance in your OP.
  15. Fine by me - if they can go out and get the W with their backups I say go out and get it. But 11 is not much more meaningful than 10. That’s all I’m saying.
  16. when’s the last time they won 10? How about the last time they won a playoff game? Shouldn’t that be the focus, instead of risking injury to starters to secure an arbitrary number?
  17. but new england has 12 wins. Chiefs can get to 12. Are 11 wins in the same “category” as 12 in some way that 10 are not?
  18. I am with you on the immediate post-loss threads, they tend to be the most hyperbolic and least thoughtful threads. But you realize what the game day threads are - they are for real time commentary. So there are going to be multiple negative comments after every negative play (and positive comments after positive plays.) It’s not overreaction, it’s just the nature of those threads and what they are there for. yes I am aware I have the over when it was 6.5. The poster I replied to said “no one here thought...”
  19. that’s cool, but they are out there. Some of them were probably just being optimistic, but others looked at the schedule closely and saw 10-11 wins.
