  1. 100% right. can’t even get the NHL to respect the Buffalo market enough, and it’s shown to be a top-3 US hockey market since basically 2000. watch the prime time Bills games roll in though, so long as Terry and Kim bow to the pressure from Rog and build a new palace (most likely with public money.)
  2. gronk had more than a brace on that elbow. That body armor was always a nice little tool to get off the line clean. No one wanted a piece of that thing when he swung it coming off his break.
  3. all smart ideas. What about PSLs? Quick research looks like 19 (from wikipedia): National Football League (NFL) Seat Licenses Atlanta Falcons PSL Baltimore Ravens PSL[1] Carolina Panthers PSL Chicago Bears PSL Cincinnati Bengals COA (Charter Ownership Agreements) Cleveland Browns PSL Dallas Cowboys SL (Seat Licenses)(Effective at AT&T Stadium only.) Houston Texans PSL Minnesota Vikings SBL (Stadium Builder Licenses) (U.S. Bank Stadium only) New York Giants PSL (Effective at MetLife Stadium only. Buying Giants PSL does not give ticket rights for the Jets.) New York Jets PSL (Effective at MetLife Stadium only. Policies differ from the Giants. Buying Jets PSL does not give ticket rights for the Giants.) Philadelphia Eagles SBL (Stadium Builder Licenses) Pittsburgh Steelers SL San Francisco 49ers SBL (Stadium Builder Licenses) Seattle Seahawks CSL (Charter Seat Licenses) Oakland Raiders PSL (To be implemented when the team relocates to Las Vegas & the new stadium opens) Los Angeles Rams PSL (To be implemented when the new stadiumopens)[8] Los Angeles Chargers PSL (To be implemented when the new stadiumopens)[8] Tennessee Titans PSL
  4. on deep balls? Hard to tell what’s a throw away and what’s not he’s missed open guys by 10 yards at times this year. Cute gif though
  5. jesus calm down kiddo. A- is an Excellent grade for an excellent job. A+ would be a grade for a perfect job. Sorry I don’t think he did a “perfect” job. Way too sensitive bro.
  6. Maybe don’t build $5+ billion stadia and stop charging $25,000 PSLs on top of $200 tickets and more people would be inclined to go.
  7. if he would have landed an elite WR i would have given him an A+.
  8. Certainly seems a bit petty to me. More surprised Kirwan agreed with him - he almost always sounds like he knows his stuff.
  9. Pretty fair grades @BarkleyForGOATBackupPT5P I would give Beane an A- though - he turned over the offense as best he could in one offseason. He brought in 2 legitimate NFL wideouts, when last year there was really only practice squad level talent there. Drafted what looks like a very good RB. Drafted two TEs, one of whom contributes regularly, drops aside. Partially fixed the offensive line with a premier center, a high draft pick and decent free agents. Pretty solid work in one year.
  10. Using baseball, with different standards and different HOF criteria to “back you up”? Not very convincing. Are you Vic Carucci by any chance? and if character came into play with TO, why not Harrison? Bye bye now row there’s no point.
  11. I didn’t start the thread or ask you to comment chief. Have a good one.
  12. that’s one side of the story I suppose. Harrison was investigated and suspected of being involved in a street murder; didn’t hurt his chances of getting in on 1st ballot.
  13. and the Bills were in a similar boat with a very elderly, cheap, checked-out owner in the not so distant past so let’s not gloat. Besides, the circus act isn’t limited to crazy Jerruh in Dallas - see Cleveland, Washington, LA Chargers...
  14. totally fine comparison and thank you for posting. But John Brown is nowhere near Hopkins’ league. I hope you weren’t trying to imply that.
  15. i wasn’t impressed with Marvin Harrison either yet he was a first-ballot guy. And T.O. wasn’t. Really make ms you think ?
  16. We’ve not reached a critical mass of duke threads yet huh? Honestly i hope he gets cut at this point.
  17. Search is your friend. Besides that happy new year
  18. Marrone had a convenient scapegoat in Coughlin this year (although the excessive fines and CBA violations were, in all likelihood, ultimately Coughlin’s idea.) Plus, I really think Khan is more interested in international expansion/relocation than anything on the field right now. Now, having a good team will help in that goal, but I don’t think Khan views it as critical. So Doug gets to skate another year.
  19. This all day. Momentum, as far as week-to-week goes, is all fiction. It’s something fans use as an excuse when their team loses.
  20. maybe, but PUNT kinda earned that with the multiple threads every week that sorta are filled with nonsense. But i get you, judged in a vacuum, it’s a valid point. Not that the Bills had many chances to beat a team with a winning record this year but regardless.
  21. Absolutely. It will not change unless people start tuning out. Bottom line. It’s disheartening I know, but until there is a critical mass of people demanding they get better, and not watching until they do, nothing will improve as far as officiating goes.
  22. Full-time refs would be nice. They tried that and killed it after one year.
