  1. I’d be much more inclined to believe Sammy if there were any other corroborating reports like this. Sammy got drafted. Sammy got hurt. Sammy didn’t heal quickly. Sammy got traded. Sammy is salty. Good luck to him.
  2. lost me at the “or”. We’re talking about attracting free agents here. Being a competitive team now is a plus, whereas the last 20 years were just another minus to pile on to the other minuses the article touched on. Not sure how or why you’re not getting this. But keep cozy in your bubble. Again, don’t read it and don’t comment on it if a dose of reality is just too much for you.
  3. the question seems pretty pertinent this year though doesn’t it? Considering this team finally, after twenty years, looks like one on the brink of actually competing for something and attracting one or two key free agents could be a big part of pushing them over the top?
  4. it’s superbowl week, where many, many players are congregated in the same space, i.e. a perfect and relatively easy time for a good reporter to get a broad view from a large sample of players on a subject. Don’t like it don’t read it. Or just whine about it. Choice is yours. I know - and I agree with you about the dome by the way. I just think the weather thing is more perception than reality at this point.
  5. This weather thing is overblown, insofar as it pertains to affecting games. I’ve been to pretty much every hime game since 2007, and the truly horrific weather games are few and far between. Recency bias I know, but that’s just what I’ve seen.
  6. Coming to a shopping mall near you
  7. My dream is Ruggs but he’ll probably be gone.
  8. his deep ball accuracy is most definitely a problem. there is no decision making deficiency in correctly identifying a wide open receiver who has gotten behind the entire defense and proceeding to overthrow him by 5 yards. That’s leaving points on the field and that’s a problem. Short and intermediate accuracy to both the sidelines and middle of the field though was much, much improved from his rookie year.
  9. wild guessing but they are probably just appearances he agreed to long ago. But heck if I signed him up to speak to a bunch of kids though I’d just pay him not to show up at this point.
  10. BOB’s hustle is strong. Or the owner is a complete waterhead. Probably both
  11. Yeah the ankle monitor was removed, but passport not returned. His attorneys made the argument for US travel so he can fulfill contractual obligations.
  12. That drop % for Knox is disgusting.
  13. not sure how anyone can throw up google maps directions and claim accuracy. I’m gonna go ahead and trust you over anyone in 707
  14. The flight took after just after 9am local time and ended just shy of 10am, where it was ~20 miles from its destination (if it was landing at or around the sports complex.)
  15. Well yes if he plays for anyone he’s not commuting in from the florida-alabama line week in and week out. It’s certainly easier to get back to homebase occasionally from florida or louisiana than LA or Boston though. From his statements it seems like he wants to play, so if I had to bet I’d say Tampa.
  16. if he’s up in the panhandle then yes but Atlanta certainly isn’t an option. If Brees comes back NO is out as well. Tenn seems a possibilty.
  17. i think Rivers is going to play somewhere in Florida or not at all.
  18. OP deserves a LOOOOONG vacation for this ****
  19. talking in terms of production/role on team, not physical traits. Perriman may be turning a corner coming off his late season in Tampa; I’m not convinced yet. But yeah, physically he’s got the tools to be a WR1, that’s why he was drafted so high.
  20. well it’s a nice mention, but Jacobs is the clear winner. Murray would be way ahead of Singletary as well.
  21. absolutely. Green wants to stay for several reasons. However, Brown is notoriously cheap and money may change his mind. The tag money is going to tempt anyone in his position though.
  22. I’d rather get an established WR1 in free agency or just try and draft one. Not saying Perriman wouldn’t help, it seems like he’s improved but idk how exactly he’s different from john brown (not that 2 john browns is a bad thing mind you.)
  23. so all Allen needs to show his true potential is two elite wideouts and an elite tight end. Seriously that’s where your argument is veering towards because you’re so obstinate against anyone is this ridiculously long thread offering valid Allen criticism. fanboyism at its finest.
  24. cool with this or Higgins (or a DE.)
