2 or 3 starting-caliber receivers sounds about right. The current guys behind brown and beasley will either be retained for depth or let go. My guess is the ones that can play special teams stay.

end game for anything mcmahon does is to make money for mcmahon. Ideally, make money and earn accolades along with it. best way to do that you already alluded to - become a viable “G League” for the NFL that people will watch and strike up the consequent partnerships with the NFL. You ain’t missing anything.

And to the NFL’s credit, they have none of those, as you noted. College is a different story but I gave up on the NCAA a long time ago.

not a chance in heck that would happen but I definitely think there are plenty of coaches around the league that have seen Allen and are in love with his skillset. And most of those coaches certainly think they could hammer out the few weaknesses in his game. So two second rounders or thereabouts would be my guess.
