end game for anything mcmahon does is to make money for mcmahon. Ideally, make money and earn accolades along with it. best way to do that you already alluded to - become a viable “G League” for the NFL that people will watch and strike up the consequent partnerships with the NFL. not a chance in heck that would happen but I definitely think there are plenty of coaches around the league that have seen Allen and are in love with his skillset. And most of those coaches certainly think they could hammer out the few weaknesses in his game. So two second rounders or thereabouts would be my guess.

Even if it is just speculation from a reporter at this point, I certainly can see why the Rams would want to move him. Trouble is no one in their right mind would take him with his current deal, not without some very attractive extra compensation attached to the trade. Rams ain’t got any of that, at least in the form of draft picks.
