very fair. After their misadventures with Zay, can you really blame them? -
Jets give OT George Fant 3 year 30 million ?????

I think it’s safe to say the word is out all around the league about Gase. Disaster in Miami, complete disaster from almost day 1 in new jersey. -

He’s been elite since high school bro. There are posts in this very thread citing metrics that suggest he was a top 5 WR last year, even with the turbulence with Cousins and the coaching staff early in the year. Do some homework. -

For you and the rest of you missing a giant aspect of both of these moves: realize that both these WR trades were INTERconference. BoB may be stupid, but he’s not so stupid to trade his premiere WR to an AFC team that he just played in the playoffs and figures to be a significant playoff obstacle in the future for Houston. Hopkins was never going to an AFC team. -
Bills re-sign Jason Croom to 1-year deal
JoPoy88 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Gross. I suppose Croom is going to be there to press Sweeney in camp and the better of the two will stay. Obviously i’m rooting for the BC guy in that scenario. Problem is Kroft sucks and Knox has a drop rate damn near 20%. I don’t see another kittle or kelce emerging out of this group. and the less said about lee the better. -
Internally there’s some love for Tee Higgins

Not answering for Gunner, just want to throw in that I also heard he didn’t do the combine because of “the long clemson season.” Sounds like tired to me. -

yes if jeudy and ruggs are gone (most likely) and they dont want to take an edge or OT there at 22 i’d much rather trade back and get another pick and reagor or mims (or even higgins! if they trade way back) as opposed to taking higgins flat at 22. -

JoPoy88 replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
exactly. if people think higgins is going to be the best guy there whenever they pick then fine. I am sick of the jump ball, contested catch talk, as if that’s sustainable. How about just continue to get fast guys that can run great routes or even not-so-fast-but-smart guys that know how to get open? Sort of like the guys they’ve already brought in? Personally I don’t want Josh Allen of all people throwing into tight coverage; I don’t care if he’s throwing to a 7 foot tall tee higgins. I don’t have that kind of trust in him yet. -

i will say, if Tee did run that fake 4.43 (which he didn’t) I’d be impressed. But he didn’t, he didn’t run on the same track that all the other guys did, and he still ran slow. dude people are just obsessed with getting a big guy, that’s all it is (remember the Duke Williams obsession?) Who cares if he can’t get open in the NFL? He can catch “jump balls!” As if building a modern NFL passing offense should be predicated on throwing into coverage and hoping big, slow Tee can out rebound the cornerback and the safety. Not quite how I saw KC do it, but let these guys have their fun. -

Right. Probably why they drafted Zay Jones. All about that college production. Best indicator. Probably also why all those hawaii QBs that broke all those passing records had such epic careers in the NFL. All about that (((college))) production. -

I could be we’ll see gun. I’m just not one to disregard a bad workout and claim “HEY BUT HE CAN GAME I DONE SEEN IT.” the WR class is so deep the Bills could miss like once or twice and still hit on a monster. My only opinion is Higgins is not that monster. -

i just do not know if he can do that against NFL competition. Tee looks great and smooth there, especially for someone his size. How much translates with mediocre speed, mediocre acceleration? Just not at 22 EDIT: BUT if someone like mims is there in rd 2 i would still take him over higgins -

I felt the same way about him a few weeks ago when people were first talking him up but I’ve come around. May change my mind again in a couple more weeks who knows. Still want no part of higgins though. -

that’s almost exactly how i have the WRs and thank you for putting that out there clemson bro. Give me reagor or jefferson in the 1st or aiyuk or mims in the 2nd and i am happy with whatever else they do in the draft. -

Not a 1:1 comparison for sure. Hey yolo like i said i’d rather have him than tee. But beane can probably sit his a** right where he is in the first round and get a receiver better than both those guys! That’s the crazy thing about this draft. -

I’m confused is the reddit spacing a sad attempt at trying to emphasize your point or did you just fall on your space bar? didn’t even spell Beane right. Good job great effort. those numbers are great! When did I ever say his college numbers mean nothing? Never. The thread was talking about the workout numbers, that’s all. now, shall I point you to zay jones’s college numbers? Right this way... -

sort of like that guy from clemson we drafted that wasn’t “re-hurt” but “still hurt” that had to have his shoulder cleaned out finally and missed a lot of his rookie year. -

JoPoy88 replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
clemson players are all very high level obviously, even without playing against top (tippity top) level competition. ACC vs SEC shouldn’t be ignored. But they’re a top program no matter what. I was talking to a specific guy BSing about a specific guy, i.e. tee higgins. Look the guy has a bad workout and people are fans of the guy are going go ahead defend him. I personally think the team I root for would be making a huge mistake picking him, that’s all. And i could be wrong! The WR class is so deep this year I have no idea who’s going to come out of it as the best pro 2-3 years down the line. -

ok, shenault is not hurt “again;” he’s “still” hurt. I’d still rather have him than higgins, fwiw.
