i can’t and won’t fight you on the mechanics point; you’ve seen way more of him than I have. In fact I don’t doubt you’re right. But...would he still be an upgrade over what we have now? Posssibly. The Bills are in their window now, the age doesn’t bother me so much.
are the blocked punts ALL his fault? And is that a new problem or are his blocks been consistent over his career. Yes his punts inside the 20 have gone down since his peak in 2012-13, but he also punts half as much under mahomes and reid the last couple of years. His net has dropped about 2 yards since his peak.
I would not do that trade, primarily because of Green’s injury issues recently. That, and Brown seems to be trending up the last two seasons.
Peak AJ Green is a better player for sure. But I don’t think peak AJ exists anymore.
What is it about draft season that makes so many people around here suddenly fill up with delusional self-importance and refer to themselves in the 3rd person in the title of their threads? Doesn’t really happen at any other time of the year.
“at times”...which can mean anything from “occasionally” to “frequently.” If Daboll was frequently calling a bad offense then I’d say you have a point. But I don’t see evidence of that. No he does not have a perfect playbook or call games perfectly. But if the offense fails its on the QB now, although I understand some like you will never bring yourselves to admit it.
The “building of the offense” is now in place. If they still can’t score more than 20pts/game on average after adding singletary, brown, beasley, knox, diggs, kroft, and moss then the problem is with the guy on offense I didn’t name.
