  1. it doesn’t appear so. I believe the deal is contingent on that reinstatement.
  2. Knox did a lot of good things you’d want to see out of a top tight end. But as far as “love” goes, he’ll get the love when he cuts his drop rate in half. Not gonna rep for this guy like he’s the second coming of tony gonzales yet.
  3. That’s cool, even if a little rote. Pretty much the same as his pressers so i say ? i suppose.
  4. This is worse than the threads forcing nicknames. Just let it be. Not everything has to be a “trend” let them play a little together first.
  5. Yeah speed, power and one (possibly two) arthritic knees. Guess you left that part out. Maybe you forgot.
  6. See all those pinned threads on the front page announcing all these FA signings? Bills aren’t getting any comp picks.
  7. That account cited here is a borderline troll account. Not reliable in the slightest. Not criticizing the OP, just a FYI.
  8. Nah unless you’re talking about claypool and converting him to TE (which, granted, he is already doing) I still think it’s DE and RB. A RT would not be bad either
  9. You’ve heard Cam Newton speak before yes? Or read any of his social media postings in the last 5 years, yes? I get the basic premise of what you’re saying but no. Cam would not accept a backup job to Allen this year. He still considers himself a starter and there are a few starting options still open out there.
  10. and the answer to your question is Diggs would’ve always fit in with McDermott and Beane even in 2017 when they first came aboard. He fits in even better now with a dogged competitor like Allen at QB. So your question is now answered. Kudos for actually returning to your own thread; god knows hardly anyone else does that around here nowadays...but: do some homework on Stefon before you post this drivel. If you did (which you didn’t) you probably wouldn’t have posted this thread.
  11. People are obviously talking about all the moves the dolphins have made and that’s okay, they certainly have added many bricks to their total rebuild. I think the Bills did very, very good though.
  12. please, PLEASE spread your message to the people in the Diggs thread
  13. busy couple of days no big deal. The other option was Beane making no noise and you and the other mods closing 50 whining threads. I’ll take this option
  14. exactly. We should be getting flowers and edible arrangements for this **** from the rest of the league. Not spite from our own fans who clearly have no sense in how to evaluate these things. Clutching pearls over, OH MY GOSH, the 22 pick in the draft. I would have given them the 3rd overall pick for a young, proven commodity like Diggs. ”You want the brand new boat or you want what’s in the mystery box mr. Griffin?”
  15. shoutout appreciated! I know it’s BoB season all over the media and for good reason. He may (probably) be a dumb GM, over his head, and have visions of himself being the new Belicheck in 10 years. But he’s not suicidal. He would’ve been flayed in the town square if he traded Hopkins to Buffalo. That was never, everever, on the table. So please stop comparing the trades.
  16. Basically this. Which is what people have been trying to beat into the heads of some here for 50+ pages of this thread. Cardinals got very lucky dealing with a power hungry ego maniac. Good for them. They were lucky (by chance of being in the opposite conference). People comparing the trades and the trade compensation are disingenuous at best. Cardinals were smart and lucky, Bills were simply smart (and in no way in the running for Hopkins.) While i’m replying just a reminder: if the Bills didn’t get Diggs, the Patriots most likely would have.
  17. you really, really should move on. The fact that you characterize the deal as “giving picks away” speaks volumes. Giving something away usually means you received nothing in return, at least nothing of value. That couldn’t be further from the truth in this case. So please, yes, move on.
  18. Wow. 50 pages in and I never thought so many people would be so enamored in and attached to the speculative value of draft picks, especially lower round draft picks. Mystery-box syndrome seems to be endemic around here.
  19. Hmmm. Almost 4 pages of good, informative replies to the OP and no response from him/her whatsoever yet. Honestly this smells like a drive-by “stir the pot” post to me.
  20. very fair. After their misadventures with Zay, can you really blame them?
  21. I think it’s safe to say the word is out all around the league about Gase. Disaster in Miami, complete disaster from almost day 1 in new jersey.
