  1. This doesn’t look good. It looks like a bait click because he has consensus guys WAY low. Mad at myself for clicking on this **** now.
  2. Ooof. Is it still 1998 out there in LA? That’s hideous
  3. Nah man misses are misses but Beane gets slack because he’s hit on other areas. Pretty simple. The bad picks and bad moves are still there no one forgets them. I’m just saying he’s evened those out.
  4. but ray ray and austin were never going to be much more than ST contributors. Idk maybe people had higher hopes for them. Not me. The wr corps needs updating for sure. I wouldn’t call those two guys bad misses though.
  5. i get Zay, but the other two were very late picks who cares? Those two don’t really bolster your argument.
  6. i don’t think he’d trade up earlier into rd 1 from 22, but based on his record I could see him trading up earlier in rds 2 or 3.
  7. I’d be fine with this. May be able to trade back and nab Aiyuk too. Bonus.
  8. Beane’s track record suggests he’s way more likely to trade up, rather than trading down (especially multiple times in the same draft.) But it’s speculation season so have at it.
  9. I doubt the coach was involved. Various other movers and shakers in the front office? Quite probably. The place was a pit anyways, glad it’s gone.
  10. Very odd trade. Wonder what they’re up to...
  11. According to his stats though, yeah, he is kinda a star at his position. Yes we’ve all seen the blooper reel of poyer missing a couple tackles spectacularly but overall he has been very, very good. If Poyer’s not a “star” who is responsible for the defensive turnaround since the rex days?
  12. She’s on vacation with her NFL husband and they get to talking about business and she gets fired up and let’s one slip on twitter. Then thinks better of it and deletes it. No big deal at the end of the day she’s 21. Poyer will get paid. Either by the Bills, or someone else.
  13. so you want Diggs at X, Duke freaking Williams at Y and Brown i suppose at Z? super fun count me in.
  14. Lost me at “Dukle Williams is ready to step into Beasley’s shoes.” really makes me doubt you’ve ever seen a Bills game.
  15. Probably because this particular IG model just happens to be married to the player in question. Just a guess, but I think that’s probably why people are talking about it.
  16. Exactly. The reception numbers are still respectable last year (although they don’t look as good with people like CMC in the league now) but no one is paying anything close to $10m (or $13m) for a malcontent that failed to rush for more than 4.0 ypc. Sorry Melvin. Sucks being a running back in today’s NFL I know but college is churning beasts out at your position every single year.
  17. i think he means the team he’d elect to be inducted under. Can only choose one unless they changed the rules. i thought he actually turned down closer to that $13m number. Guy is delusional. Great back, but not an Elliot type who can command that. Heck look at what Leveon did for the Jets after they paid him. Coach undermining him from jumpstreet. You think any team is stupid enough to pay that anymore for any back past age 25? Not a chance in cheektowaga that happens now.
  18. I think that even if the Panthers do a full-blown rebuild, the one guy that you keep and build around is CMC. Unless they field offers and do get something ridiculous from, say, Gruden in Vegas like 2 1sts and a 2nd. Anyone would listen to that I suppose. But they already have Jacobs. So no I love the OP’s crush and CMC is awesome. But if I were Ruhle go ahead and trade everyone away EXCEPT McCaffery. Build around that guy.
  19. i don’t see Poyer on that list. Rachel is going to be very upset at spotrac.
  20. well maybe, maybe not. She did delete the tweet that yolo referenced. Who do you think told her to do that? Edit: and i believe i saw somewhere very recently that they were in the bahamas or something? Could’ve just been her firing off a drunk tweet and then thinking better of it.
  21. Well the cap is due for a significant bump this season already - to somewhere around $200m or possibly more. Poyer’s primary concern is probably getting another long term deal done as soon as possible though, regardless of higher cap jumps in 2021 or beyond. Injuries can happen at any time and derail future deals.
  22. poyer’s agent should be telling him (and his wife) that. but you’re right finding that replacement leader for Lorax is important. Hey maybe it’s someone already in the room who’ll emerge.
