  1. We “know” Daboll is gone next year? Uh ok...I thought that was supposed to happen this year? Bottom line...nobody “knows” anything. Maybe teams don’t view Daboll’s personality as head coach material. We have no idea...
  2. This is not a good take. We have had one of the best passing offenses all year and a fairly week run game. We have won 15 games by doing it this way.
  3. Imo, our first round pick should come down to pass rusher, tight end, or Travis Ettienne. Dane Jackson has shown a lot of flash when he gets in games and Levi Wallace has played pretty well at CB2. IMO, we don’t need to take a CB in the first. So...that brings me back to the three that I mentioned. Pass rusher might actually not be as big a need as we think. Epenesa has progressed throughout the year and Daryl Johnson has elite measurables for the position. I’m not saying we wouldn’t take a pass rusher at the bottom of the first, but we might be picking the fourth or fifth one at that point. Now let’s consider the tight end. Dawson Knox is so unreliable that I think most of us can appreciate that we need a complete player at that position. Kyle Pitts will likely be gone by the middle of the round, so that leaves Pat Freiermuth. This guy is a beast. He didn’t get the nickname Baby Gronk by accident. He blocks, runs good routes, and catches the ball cleanly. Yes please. Travis Ettienne. IMO, this is what this offense is missing. He is the dynamic change of pace back that teams can use in so many ways. Kinda like how Thurman was. Great in the run game and as a pass catcher. Fast, too. Another sleeper at the bottom of the round could be offensive line. I really think that outside of pass rusher, the first rounder should be on offense. You have to be able to score points in this league. The defense is good enough to get off the field. That’s what we need. And Star will be back so we will already be better off next year.
  4. No. No he’s not.
  5. Not only would he, but I expect him to. Allen gets it. He knows that in order to win consistently you need to spread the money around. It’s what Brady did. Plus, he’s the type of guy that would bet on himself and know that as long he works hard and doesn’t get hurt, he will have lots of time to make all the money that he’s worth.
  6. I might be in the minority, but who gives a bleep about them pumping up the ravens? At the end of the day, it will be settled on the field so stop getting so bent on a few people’s opinions. Good grief...
  7. Well...you are in the minority thinking Rivers choked. That’s all I’m gonna say...
  8. I was wondering, because to say Rivers stunk and choked yesterday is completely ridiculous. He had a great game. All qbs miss throws every game.
  9. Well...I “simply” was... You just cherry picked a few negatives. What about all the good throws and no turnovers? Rivers played well. And that fourth down throw hit Pittman in both hands. It was a very good throw off his back foot. I’d argue that Rivers looked as good yesterday as he had all year. Kudos to him...
  10. That’s not what I saw at all...Rivers was really good.
  11. Any list that doesn’t start with Allen is wrong...
  12. I would rather see Allen run than our running backs at this point. Totally disagree with the OP...
  13. As a team first player, I really hope Allen takes a bit of a discount in order to keep the team together. As much as we dislike Brady, he did this and the pats were consistent winner because of it.
  14. Here’s the thing...it’s become kind of annoying to hear every player that wasn’t the first one picked at their position say this. Like literally every player thinks the same way...unless you were the first one taken. nothing to see here...
  15. I really see a left handed Tyrod Taylor when I watch Tua. Although Taylor has a stronger arm. Neither like to use the middle of the field and love the two yard dump offs. I really hope the dolphins keep Tua because as of right now, he doesn’t scare me one bit...
  16. Draft Pat Freiermuth and let them compete. Knox hasnt had a lot of competition since his rookie year. Make him earn it.
  17. The thing that infuriates me is that sometimes we seem to be stubborn and insist we can “fix” the run game. Bottom line is that it isnt very good. It’s to the point where it seems like a wasted down. When we pass, we usually get chunks. I just don’t get it...
  18. I think anyone that says no to this question isn’t old enough to have experienced all the heartbreaks. That said...yes...I am always looking over my shoulder waiting for it to all fall apart. It’s just how it has been with this team over the years. Until we win a SB, I will always feel this way. I can admit that this team has a different feel to it, but we’ve been bitten so badly over the years that it’s hard to feel differently.
  19. IMO, Rodgers pretty much locked up the MVP last night...
  20. You can’t see this? Really? The Pats aren’t playing for anything at this point. By throwing the game, Belichick could keep Lawrence away from the Jets and improve his own draft position. It’s a perfect scenario for the Pats to improve themselves and keep from having to face Lawrence twice a year.
  21. Roberts is elite. Period.
  22. Guy misses one extra point after being unreal for so long and we “bump” this? Smh...
  23. Maybe so, but I truly believe it. Most players in any sport are products of their environments. I’m not saying he isn’t great, because that’s silly. I just think he was put in the perfect spot to realize his potential.
  24. I’m tired of this talk. Mahomes would not have found the success here that he has found in KC. No way he would he have been good with the supporting cast and coaching that was here at the time. You don’t just take a guy that was put into a great situation and put him in a bad one and expect the same results.
