Choice 2 is obvious. With Allen, we have all we need to be in SB nearly every year and win it a bunch of times. If we are not doing that, it is because the people around him are not getting the job done. That all falls on GM (talent acquisition; team building) AND OF COURSE COACHING. It will be more interesting NEXT OFFSEASON when we end our season at about the same point AGAIN. The chances of McDimwit getting booted will be their best so far.

It won't be long before 5 entities OWN EVERYTHING IN THIS ENTIRE COUNTRY. Enjoy!

That is HORRIBLE. You are never going to get black to work with our red/white/blue theme. I would LOVE an "alternative" look that we wear once or twice a year, at home, where we play with the color scheme and logo and go with an evil black-based look. Assuming there isn't some rule preventing that.

I just had to look it up; the average single ticket cost for this year is just under $10,000. I'm lucky to be able to piss away 10 grand on a football game ticket, but doing so might be the last thing on Earth I would do with the money, especially if the Bills aren't going to be involved. Hell, you can get a no-date Sub for that price.

Assuming you dislike soccer, you couldn't care less. not "care less." And yes, any WC game will be played on grass. They will probably put in a temporary field of real grass or similar. Soccer isn't as freaking stupid as the NFL...gotta play on grass.

I was born in 1971 as well! And YES, as funny as it sounds, "truckers" and 18 wheelers and CBs were a thing. You had Smokey and the Bandit and also the goofy TV show "BJ and the Bear" which I loved at the time! LOL I remember being into big rigs and getting excited when I saw a cool one on the highway. I would always do the "arm pump" move and get the driver to blow the horn. I LOVED the '70s and think about how much the world has changed now all the time. It was a lot simpler back then. Lots of fun memories being thrown into the back of a Ford LTD country squire wagon with about 7 other kids and going places...having fun. No one seemed to think about crash protection or seatbelts. My mom smoked and drank throughout her pregnancy with me! Her doctor told her drinking would help calm her down and avoid morning sickness... Makes me laugh. I learned to drive in what might be the worst car ever made....a 1979 Chevrolet Malibu Classic Estate wagon. It had a 5 liter V8 that made literally NO POWER...the back seat side windows did not go down! No mechanism for it, to make you pay more for AC. It had simulated wood paneling on the sides of the vehicle, which was a sticker and peeling off all over the place. The interior was burgundy but all the plastics, fabrics, and materials had no UV protection so they were all turning various colors of purple and it was like burgundy/purple/fuchsia marble blend of colors all over the dash, controls, door panels, and so on. You could drive in a straight line and put one hand on the wheel at 2 o'clock, and then move it over to 10 o'clock and NOTHING WOULD HAPPEN....the car still went straight. I can go on.. I vowed at a young age never to buy an American car and haven't even come close to violating that law yet, at age 53. Those criminal bastards (Big 3) made me into a lifelong non-customer. Good job guys!

This is a good metaphor IMO. This version of the Bills is not different from any of the better San Diego Charger teams when Rivers was there and younger and really good. They never got anywhere. We are the same right now. The only people not seeing this are Bills fans! Which should not be surprising. Right now, the question is "Is it time for McDermott to go? Next year, the question among fans will shift to "Does Pegula even care? Why won't he fire the guy!" I can see a world where Pegula finally parts with McD right around the time Josh's legs start to go, and he regresses as an overall offensive threat. That would be so very Billsy.

Anyone watching the new Season 4 of "True Detective" on HBO? I have been following along with online discussions about the episodes. I'm through Episode 3, and it's only a 6 episode season, so half done now. The online comments through 3 episodes are REALLY negative. I am enjoying this season more than the other 3 combined! It has a sci-fi supernatural theme to it, and all set in Alaska in December, when it's dark 24 hours a day basically. Has a cool vibe not unlike "The Shining," mixed in with "Twin Peaks." Not nearly as good as either of those, but I'm enjoying it.

I recall watching a video on Youtube about something I literally can't remember. They were interviewing a wealthy French aristocratic sort of woman about something... She was in her own "castle" of a home for the interview, in the kitchen. On the floor in the kitchen was her big dog. He had the most ENORMOUS block of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese in his mouth....in the USA it would cost $50...and he was just slowly gnawing on that thing and working it....kind of like a huge gobstopper. He seemed to be having the time of his life. Not sure if that's good for the dog or not.

Looks like something that would have been perfectly suited to Pink Floyd back in the day. They were always into the "visual display" stuff on top of the music. So was/is U2. I prefer the Led Zeppelin approach. Go out on stage, play your balls off for 3 hours, leave stage. No need for a "show." It's funny that nowadays in pop music, the emphasis seems to be 99% on "Show" and most of these popular singers now have to jump around with 175 support dancers behind them in unison....the singing is secondary...and that's all pre-recorded anyway. What an odd form of "entertainment." If you want to see people dance, go to the ballet. Music is a lot better too.

He strikes me as the kind of guy who goes around making enemies and is likely to be the guy who doesn't fit in to the culture. I.E., he's NOT a "good guy" that people like. It's amazing how much money he has made, and how much time he has spent in the NFL. Once you get in that club, it's impossible to leave! How about our old friend Nate Hackett? I still can't believe that guy has a job.

On this topic, I graduated from a WNY high school in 1989. At that time, we had a well respected kicker on the football team, who ultimately got a full scholarship to go to Maryland and kick. Don't really know what happened to him. At that time, I had several good friends on the same high school soccer team. They were all laughing at the "success" of the football kicker, as they were like "half our team can out kick that guy." One of my good friends went on to play at Lasalle on a full soccer scholarship; I played soccer with him many times. He was like 6'3" in high school and had immense legs; he was mocking the football team kicker. So one day we go out to a football field with goal posts and my buddy asks me to hold a Wilson NFL caliber football for him....on grass. I was consistently making 30 yarders, with no one blocking in front of me of course! My buddy was nailing 55 yarders....just goofing around with no real guidance on how to do it or anything. I remember when Steve Christie came to the Bills....he was an ex-soccer guy and I assumed the NFL would become 100% purely soccer kickers way back then..but I guess it didn't. The NFL is incredibly slow to advance and move forward. In another 10 years or so, almost all the coaches are going to be the "young whiz kid" and "meathead traditional football guys" will be out of the sport. At least I hope so.

It's just incredible the garbage that sports fans conjure up as part of their fandom reality.
