  1. He is the new Ryan Fitzpatrick. He's going to retire with ENORMOUS money, despite never having really been worth a *****. There's something wrong with that. Doesn't seem right.
  2. Have OJ's legal problems/reputation caused his football collectibles to sink in value, or soar? I can see it going either way. Just wondering.
  3. We may very well take a step back next year, but it won't be b/c of the cuts that were made. This team was always going to look a lot different in 2024.
  4. Utterly predictable, but still sad.
  5. I'm reading through the thread here and getting an idea for a cool TV series.. Set when there were multiple "human like" species wandering around the Earth. That's a weird and creepy time in the evolution of man. With modern CGI and special effects, I bet you could get the various character to look quite convincing. Imagine if you could go out in the woods today and find 99% human-like creatures...that weren't human! Weird!
  6. The answer is "YES" if the move makes the team better. I love Milano and would leave him where he is, but we will have to do a lot of reshuffling this year and in the near future. People forget how much the makeup of the Bills Super Bowl teams changed from year to year.
  7. Unlucky, huh? Well, if you support all things Buffalo Bills at all times, I guess you would write that. Others might suggest there were hugely foreseeable and easily avoided mistakes. Knox never looked like the real deal and dumping that huge money into a marquis pass rusher at the end of his career was ALWAYS going to be a folly. Always WILL be a folly. Kind of like throwing giant money at the biggest named FA on the first day of FA signings. The best GMs don't do that crap.
  8. Choice 2 is obvious. With Allen, we have all we need to be in SB nearly every year and win it a bunch of times. If we are not doing that, it is because the people around him are not getting the job done. That all falls on GM (talent acquisition; team building) AND OF COURSE COACHING. It will be more interesting NEXT OFFSEASON when we end our season at about the same point AGAIN. The chances of McDimwit getting booted will be their best so far.
  9. It won't be long before 5 entities OWN EVERYTHING IN THIS ENTIRE COUNTRY. Enjoy!
  10. 6 seems really low to me. I'm at about 9.5. They are the new Patriots and get used to the winning SBs while Josh ages with none.
  11. The moment SF failed to get a TD and only got the 3, I knew the game was lost. Why didn't the coach? I don't get paid as much as he does!
  12. I don't particularly agree with you, but I am always ready for a new reason to hate and fire McDimwit! BTW: anyone reading this who thinks our coach is going to take down Reid and Mahomes any time soon is insane. What is supposed to be different, "next time?"
  13. I like Beane on the whole, but man, there is a LOT of stuff he doesn't get right.
  14. The QB of equal caliber has been beaten by Mahomes 3 of last 4 seasons in playoffs. You're just whistling past the graveyard man.
  15. As soon as SF did not get a TD in OT, I knew they would lose. I knew KC would get a TD on that drive. F-ing Mahomes.
  16. If we draft DL with our 3rd pick, I'm going to officially hunt down McD.
  17. That is HORRIBLE. You are never going to get black to work with our red/white/blue theme. I would LOVE an "alternative" look that we wear once or twice a year, at home, where we play with the color scheme and logo and go with an evil black-based look. Assuming there isn't some rule preventing that.
  18. In other words, if there is absolutely any way the team can get away with retaining him without public outrage, they will. Agreed.
  19. As long as McDimwit is your head coach, your optimism should be limited. Nothing changes next year with McD in charge. Don't take my word for it! Just wait and watch!
  20. I just had to look it up; the average single ticket cost for this year is just under $10,000. I'm lucky to be able to piss away 10 grand on a football game ticket, but doing so might be the last thing on Earth I would do with the money, especially if the Bills aren't going to be involved. Hell, you can get a no-date Sub for that price.
  21. Assuming you dislike soccer, you couldn't care less. not "care less." And yes, any WC game will be played on grass. They will probably put in a temporary field of real grass or similar. Soccer isn't as freaking stupid as the NFL...gotta play on grass.
  22. I was born in 1971 as well! And YES, as funny as it sounds, "truckers" and 18 wheelers and CBs were a thing. You had Smokey and the Bandit and also the goofy TV show "BJ and the Bear" which I loved at the time! LOL I remember being into big rigs and getting excited when I saw a cool one on the highway. I would always do the "arm pump" move and get the driver to blow the horn. I LOVED the '70s and think about how much the world has changed now all the time. It was a lot simpler back then. Lots of fun memories being thrown into the back of a Ford LTD country squire wagon with about 7 other kids and going places...having fun. No one seemed to think about crash protection or seatbelts. My mom smoked and drank throughout her pregnancy with me! Her doctor told her drinking would help calm her down and avoid morning sickness... Makes me laugh. I learned to drive in what might be the worst car ever made....a 1979 Chevrolet Malibu Classic Estate wagon. It had a 5 liter V8 that made literally NO POWER...the back seat side windows did not go down! No mechanism for it, to make you pay more for AC. It had simulated wood paneling on the sides of the vehicle, which was a sticker and peeling off all over the place. The interior was burgundy but all the plastics, fabrics, and materials had no UV protection so they were all turning various colors of purple and it was like burgundy/purple/fuchsia marble blend of colors all over the dash, controls, door panels, and so on. You could drive in a straight line and put one hand on the wheel at 2 o'clock, and then move it over to 10 o'clock and NOTHING WOULD HAPPEN....the car still went straight. I can go on.. I vowed at a young age never to buy an American car and haven't even come close to violating that law yet, at age 53. Those criminal bastards (Big 3) made me into a lifelong non-customer. Good job guys!
