  1. Ironically, the value of Mac Jones' rookie trading card now actually exceeds his value to GMs around the league.
  2. Biggest problem BY FAR is McDermott. Has Beane made a TON of mistakes? Absolutely. You could make an argument for firing the guy based purely on the Knox and Miller deals...which are cap killers and both players contribute close to ZERO to the team. The idea is to get nobodies who work for cheap who prove to be great impact players flying under the radar. Drafting has been pretty terrible.
  3. Christ, we're back to this crap already? I can't do mock drafts anymore. The whole thing is just completely 100% irrelevant.
  4. Any chance you could re-word the thread title so that is makes sense from a grammatical perspective? Thank you.
  5. That's not great, seeing as the analytics on Dorsey for his part of 2023 were better than Brady's portion of 2023. Don't take my word for it, look it up.
  6. The story was that he needed a year off and was planning to come back in 2024.... If he left on his own accord and is welcome in Buffalo, why isn't he coming to Buffalo? Why is he looking for a job in Miami? Actually, this does disprove the theory. IT was pure BS in the first place; can't imagine anyone actually believed it. Lots of fans don't have much experience in the corporate world.
  7. It's not as bad as the damned train horn. Get rid of THAT thing.
  8. Completely predictable. McDimwit is interested in HIMSELF and KEEPING HIS JOB. No way in the world he'll ever end up with a coordinator again who could challenge him in terms of experience, authority, seniority in the league, etc. He wants everything under his control...which is why we will end our season next year just as we did this year. The only question facing this franchise, now, as a fan, is WHEN will Pegula hit his patience threshold with McDimwit and actually FIRE HIS ASS. I'm afraid Pegula may be happy with what he has an intends to keep McD forever.
  9. You're looking at regular season statistics over the course of 16/17 games against all teams in the league and then wondering why we haven't faired better against the best teams with the best QBs and the best coaches when it matters most in the playoffs. It's not that complicated; the regular season is not the same as the post-season, and you can't win a SB in the regular season. When everything tightens right up and it's all on the line, McDermott tightens up and chokes, and in a close game against the best in the league, McDermott's terrible in-game tactics are enough to cost us the win. His entire philosophy about how to generally approach the Chiefs game was completely wrong, and not surprisingly, we lost. I don't see how he would ever put it all together for FOUR GAMES IN A ROW in the playoffs....it's too tough a row to hoe. The only thing I'm really thinking about RIGHT NOW is whether or not Pegula will fire McDermott NEXT off-season, when we bow out of the playoffs in a similar manner, again.
  10. Honestly, I don't care about stuff like this. I'm hoping for 3 really good, close, competitive games that go down to the wire. I'd like to see Detroit win it all, obviously, and I'd love to see KC lose, but beyond that, let the best team win. I think San Fran will win it all.
  11. Three things he 100% nailed: 1) "The Jets suck" 2) "Miami sucks" 3)"I don't care what happens to Sean McDermott, just get him out!"
  12. Having already lived through this exact experience with the Red Sox (raised a Red Sox fan despite growing up in Buffalo)...I think I KNOW that I will feel an immense sense of RELIEF, SATISFACTION, and PEACE. Honestly, I will never follow the Bills after a SB will as intensely as I do now. Nor will the whole thing seam so "serious." Everything Bills related moving forward after the SB will be like "OK, whatever. It doesn't matter. I have my SB victory in my pocket and it's never going away. Now I know we could do it, because we DID IT." And you kind of peacefully move on. I'll still watch all games, of course, but nothing will bother me with the team. I have this same gut feeling. People were born, lived, cheered, AND DIED between Cubs and Red Sox championships! When do you think the San Diego Padres are going to win a World Series? Answer: never. Certain franchises are born to lose, and we all know this as an obvious fact in any sport. The thing is, we don't want to concede that one of those franchises is the Bills. And the Sabres.
  13. The funny thing is that a whole bunch of my best friends from WNY, who still live there, could not care less about the Bills and don't really follow them. These are guys who have lived in Buffalo their whole lives. Not everyone in Buffalo gets emotional about the Bills.
  14. He's beyond incompetent. He's the straight up dumbest sports fan you've ever known. The Sabres have deteriorated into a Mickey Mouse sort of franchise that does not do things on a professional, big league level. Reminds me of the Bills for about the last 20 years of Ralph's life. When we miss the playoffs again this year, and DO NOT FIRE GRANATO, you'll see what I mean. This may be as low as the Sabres franchise has ever sunk, and that is saying a lot!
  15. Oliver strikes me as mediocre and a bust, overall. Despite his best season of his career this past year. How about Ted Washington? I'll add him to the list of good ones since Bruce.
  16. Some time during this past season, I was doing my daily walk on the beach down here in SE FL, and saw a pair of gorgeous, bikini clad women walking toward me. They were like mid 20s maybe. One of them had a Bills baseball cap on. I veered over toward them so as to get their attention and said "Hey, are you ladies Bills fans?" The one with the cap said "Yeah, my dad is from Buffalo." I mentioned that I grew up in Buffalo and am a big fan too. I made a comment about the upcoming game that weekend and the girl didn't really seem to know what was up. The whole thing kind of died on the vine.
  17. But apparently not a football team to the Super Bowl with a football.... Just saying.
  18. I have nothing substantive to help you with, other than simple anecdote. I live in SE FL; a few years ago we got one of our annual hurricane scares and power was out in my development for a couple of days. TONS of people were running generators as we walked around the neighborhood. I have never seen so many in my life. What shocked me was HOW LOUD THE ALL ARE. I mean, you could hear some of them 3 blocks away practically. One of the primary things I would be looking for is NOISE LEVEL....find one that is quiet, if you can. I don't even know if dB levels are commonly listed when shopping for these things, but you should investigate that if you can before you spend the $$$$....
  19. I maybe wrong here, but I think the OP is the "math won" guy in terms of his argument for "proving" that there is no intelligent life in the ENTIRE UNIVERSE. I.E., don't waste too much time here. The whole correlation does not imply causation thing went right over his head.
  20. Haven't listened to it, but I can't imagine a lot of inside information coming to the fore in such a context. That's kind of kool aid talk around the kool aid dispenser with these two guys speaking publicly.
  21. It's time for his story to quietly fade into oblivion. I firmly believe the Bills didn't cut him simply b/c of his situation last year. Maybe he'll be cut this off-season.
  22. Let's not forget Philly fired Doug Peterson 2 years after WINNING A SUPER BOWL. INDEED! Winner organizations who expect to WIN get rid of those who fail to win. McDermott has had plenty of time to show us "his way" works. It doesn't. Next! The thing is, Pegula is an idiot. And we don't really know how desperate he is to win a Super Bowl For all we know, Pegula thinks things are going JUST PERFECTLY right now...and McDermott is here for life. I really want that guy to dump both teams and move on with his life. Go enjoy what's left of it and your $5 billion Pegula...why play around with sports in WNY?
  23. Good luck to your family; I'll be thinking of you.
  24. "move on" as in move on from McDimwit, right? Why can't we be proactive and not piss away another year of Josh's prime. He only has about 3 left with his legs/run game at full strength.
  25. I think people in this thread are reading things into the comment. What does that even mean? "We don't have a number one receiver....." Folks here are interpreting this to be a dig at Diggs; pun intended. Like he's not good enough to be thought of as a true No. 1. I think he meant it more like he is not our obvious and heavy "go to" guy in the offense. I.E., all the receivers are getting the ball too evenly to call Diggs the dominant guy. Who knows...who cares. We need THREE WRs this off-season.
