  1. yeah they need to be careful,, my guess would be that the vast majority of America could not tell you what state the B-Lo is in. I've lived outside DC for a long time and native Virginians and south truly have no idea where Buffalo is
  2. Curious, for those with or without tickets, which of these places near the stadium is the best place catch the pre/during/post game vibe on game day?
  3. bc they got a ton of breaks and were healthy relative to their opponents, its really that simple. at the top of the league, if you have your best players healthy and playing and your opponents less so, plus you get a few breaks go your way, you can come out on top in one isolated single game (regular or post season) then win one more and suddenly in the title game. winning a division title takes 18 games of effort, winning in a very short tournament can easily mean having all your guys and getting a few breaks more than the other guy in the pre salary cap days, you could build a dynasty roster and dominate for years, now you just need a top QB, health and a few breaks and health at tournament time and you have a decent shot the OP is fun, but trying to prognosticate the relative health of tournament teams right now is of course not possible (eg. what if the Lions lose St. Brown and a couple other key starters b4 the tournament? -- not looking so good for them all of a sudden, right?) . Look at the game last night, that thing could have easily gone either way right up to the 2 minute warning. NFL results seem pretty random among the top 7-8 teams with the best QBs during the regular season. Gets even more random in a single elimination knockout tournament.
  4. win the division. playoff result dependent on roster health relative to their opponents. if 95+% healthy like the Eagles were 2 yrs ago, they prob make a run, just like the Eagles did. a single elimination tournament is a complete crapshoot.
  5. yeah its the lot over next to the big parking structure
  6. I would love it, means the game starts at 2 pm instead of 7pm. whats not to like?
  7. if Cook sits after pre game warmups, Gore will get his game jersey. Pretty sure teams can elevate PS players right up to game time. bills aren't going into the game with only 2 RBs I would imagine.
  8. yeah I've been a couple times. Bills fans show out for this game. Penn 1 over by Penn Station is the bills backers bar in NYC as well. enjoy
  9. you would think that if defenses are playing cover 1 over the top, zoning the middle of the field taking it away while playing man on the outside WRs, Josh should send the wideouts long and take off down the sidelines again; we may start seeing that again unless that left hand is as bad as I think it is
  10. also,...Bills lose and I get club level seats on TM for $125 next Sunday morning.....yay
  11. watching the Cowboys and Pats suffer continues to bring me joy
  12. just win the division somehow and get healthy b4 the playoffs ( if we can steal Cooper from the Browns, fine) . this is all I want. I am tired of going into single elimination tournament without half my starters. this needs to be the season where we get to be the Eagles a couple years ago who had no injuries entering the playoffs
  13. just win the division somehow and get healthy before the playoffs. all I want
  14. wow, what a depressing board this is
  15. he'll have turf toe after playing on that crap Meadowlands surface, if he doesn't have it now
  16. defenses taking away the middle of the field in zone and daring the WR to beat man coverage, which they can't, so Josh bailing to buy time
  17. I'm fine with Davis as this game will be a grind fest won by a FG 16-13
  18. by week 10 he'll be fine
  19. "power rankings" are week to week trash in general, but I get the drift...
  20. a few more years in QB purgatory for the Pats. good.
  21. yeah, it seems many on this board either (1) really have no idea how the league actually works in practice re: the salary cap and injury impacts on it (see T White, V Miller, etc.) or (2) fail to appreciate the impact of changing the entire coaching staff and then stinking for 2-3 years while changing the roster to fit the coaches, or (3) just want to "buy" a single SB in FA, get the T - shirt and then stink for the next 10 years (see LA Rams, Saints, etc. ) Some (Most?) of the posts on this board after a loss reflect one of the above 3 . IMHO, Better to wait until about Thursday to look at this board.
  22. and McD knows this and therefore did not challenge.
  23. yes, we are doing great to do that. bc one of those years the breaks go our way and we win the SB. its a single elimination tournament afterall. takes lots of luck and breaks to survive a single elim tournament. we have been very close enjoy the ride
  24. love this board after a loss, always entertaining. at least now I'll get my Titans tickets for a lot less on the resale market timing is everything everyone needs to take a pill and relax; the entire conference is 2-3 or 3-2; its like the season hasn't even started yet have a good week everyone
