  1. i don't know why, but I was almost emotionless at the end. they were just better than us, and it didn't feel like there was anything or anybody to blame. after everything that happened the entire game, we still had a chance and just couldn't do it. what else can you ask for?
  2. Allen played well tonight, but he did not play like an MVP. Good enough to win many games, but not this one. This game also highlighted a lot of warts that other teams may be able to take advantage of. we'll see. our offense still has not been able to open up and explode the way it did last year. Though it has been steadily good.
  3. Roberts was really solid for us last year and I was sad to see him go, but he just isn't versatile enough.
  4. There is always holding. that is why it is such an absolute joke when they make a call like they did against mitch last week.
  5. lol @ bread getting soggy. how much time are you spending on this sandwich?
  6. yeah, i like him. and he didn't bother me last night, but i have to admit he wasn't good. He believed in the Chiefs just a little too hard. Though with the way they've looked since 2018, it is really hard to doubt them.
  7. ALlen's first really great game was against Dallas, on Thanksgiving, at night. If my memory serves me correctly...
  8. The point i was making by starting with that is that I am the audience you might expect to complain about her. and what's the confusion over "leftist" they are people who are generally offended by everything, among other undesirable traits.
  9. I don't think im misogynistic, but Im willing to call out the differences between men and women enough that some leftists might say I am. That said, she did not bother me at all. Barely noticed her, which is good enough imo. Not somebody I would look forward to listening to, but I don't dread getting her again. She is no worse than the avg play by play man. I did enjoy the studio crew in the second half. Kudos to CBS for taking care of business for us.
  10. Moss seems like a good character. Interesting a guy from Miami, committing to the U and backing out to go to Utah of all places. This is a guy who you can tell plans ahead to try to make the most of his life. I'm sure this podcast is part of that process. He just comes off as a driven dude.
  11. yes. i thought the same thing. looks and sounds great.
  12. oh dear. it will be a whole lot more palatable if we win by 30 and Allen drops 450 and 5 tds.
  13. ya. i haven't read him in years. He was always corny, but always worth a read because he had such great connections. if that is still the case, no reason for him to go anywhere.
  14. I don't know the stats from week to week, but found this: Washington’s pass rush created 26 pressures but failed to sack Allen in the game. Nearly half of the pressures came from Daron Payne, who generated 11 pressures on 40 pass-rush snaps for a 30.0 pass-rush win percentage.
  15. I didn't think the line was amazing today. There were some passes on the run, and some very quick hits. Maybe the play calling is adjusting to what teams are throwing at us? The big evolution will be when they can make adjustments on the fly.
  16. RIP. and thoughts to Siran and family as well.
  17. Daboll is great in games where we completely overmatch the competition. everything seems so smart and fun. but when other teams have our number, there are never adjustments. After our last two games (KC and today) I am afraid we have been figured out and won't be able to adjust enough to be what we were.
  18. Ok. They either did this purposely, knowing the rep of the Bills Mafia, so they could get a little notoriety, or they had somebody who is completely clueless put it together. An intern who doesn't really understand the entire national scene perhaps. Who knows. But it was pathetically done.
  19. McCoy was part of a huge transition here and if he really was a problem in Philly, as written up, it shows a lot that he came to Buffalo and GREW UP. Something most people don't pull off until it's too late. only fond memories of Shady from this guy.
  20. this is not true. our passing game never had a chance to get started with that "breeze." if we are going to stay open air in OP, shouldn't we just renovate and save the tax payers several hundred millions of dollars?
  21. I'm glad he came out. It's something that needed to happen just to get it over with. that said, this barely even registers with me at this point, and that's a good thing, right? It's probably a bigger deal to people who actually play football. especially closeted gays who actually play football. But I don't think society really cares. obviously there are always gonna be haters out there. let's not try to pretend they are a representation of society as a whole. The next step is to get a mega star to come out as gay, and then we can be done with this and never have to do the coming out thing again. good post.
  22. why does his former stance matter when this is a completely different situation
