  1. this is too funny. i just googled to see if any teams have game management assistants. i thought i had read something like this in the past. turns out that as of 2020 the bills are one of two teams that do have one! now there's a guy that is overpaid!!!
  2. i agree with this. im just commenting on how to improve personnel wise moving forward.
  3. our offense seems good enough right now. they are not the reason we lost. defense has the issue where we can shut teams down but give up a lot of really big plays. im not sure what the biggest culprit is there. hard to be mad at them for what the chiefs did. they have done it to everybody for 4 years. but they are not the only ones to do it to us.
  4. the hardest part is not our needs. it is that KC is not going anywhere. we matched every move they had tonight, but they got the ball last. hopefully hill ages out of being the most dangerous non-quarterback player on the field very soon. he is the biggest difference maker, imo
  5. good call on marino. i know it helps to be optimistic, but there is a very real chance that we blew the best shot we will ever have at the SB this year. this one hurts really, really bad
  6. josh allen is a once in a lifetime qb, but winning a SB is guaranteed to nobody. BUT, if they are ever to replace McDermott, they better have a really darn good plan. look to matt stafford to see how easily a really good qb's career can be almost completely wasted.
  7. we do know that both Brady and Manning have a TON of 4th qtr comebacks (top 2 of all-time according to pro-football-reference) and game winning drives, which would typically be 1 score wins. i guess that jives with "overperforming"
  8. I can't find much, but here's an interesting article showing how teams with several "lucky" wins regress the next season, and teams with several "unlucky" losses end up winning big the next year. The two exceptions, Manning's colts in 06 and 08 had SEVERAL "lucky" wins, but then outperformed those years the next season anyway. Manning's teams were the only exception to this rule from 06-17. that is going both ways. http://www.optimumscouting.com/news/nfl-s-close-game-analytics-how-lucky-wins-or-losse
  9. yeah. would love to see qb w-l records in 1 score games
  10. I'd do it if I had tomorrow off. They'll get people who will do it because it is for the Bills.
  11. Read this in Madden's voice and it brought a smile to my face.
  12. Can't be in two places at once.
  13. According to this, they are going to make a change. The NBA already did, I believe. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-and-nflpa-to-adjust-covid-19-protocols-reportedly-lessen-the-maximum-isolation-period/
  14. McKenzie played a game like this against miami last year, and looked so good I had a brief thought in my head that we wouldn't be able to afford to bring him back. I get that he might be a guy that is easy to game plan against if you use him all the time, but there has to be a bigger role for the guy.
  15. Might help if we didnt' burn through all our timeouts before our last possession as well.
  16. i agree with this. I don't blame josh for a single game or a single play. he is the only reason we are where we are. but if he is going to be the best in the game--a real mvp candidate, he needs to steal one or two of these for us, even with everything going against him. maybe it's just a numbers game, and at some point he will rattle off 5 straight wins in situations like this. Again, i send no blame his way, but would just like to see him steal one of these games.
  17. I get told I look like him. Including my mother saying "Look, it's your father." my father looks nothing like him, btw... 🤔 i have a full head of hair though
  18. i think the run pass balance is fine, though sometimes we call a run at the worst moment. We should be using screens and qb runs for our "run game" in certain situations. We lose because we can't put the ball in the endzone. It's been comically bad this year. Oh, and the badly timed penalties. That's gotta be the coaching, right? Being prepared is the biggest thing BB's teams always have going for them.
  19. Daboll looks great when we are blowing the doors off of defenses, but when we can't move the ball, we just can't ever adjust.
  20. mcdermott is much better than daboll. McD is not BB, but nobody is. This is like steelers fans wanting tomlin to get the ax. great idea, but who out there is better?
  21. the strength of our team is completely neutralized. but "FOOTBALL WEATHER"
  22. these are the times you wonder you watch football.. misery
  23. these "Football weather" people are nuts. the only thing bad weather does is leave the game to chance. this is what you want if you are not the better team. The strength of our team is basically neutralized in this weather. but "football weather" okay. it's not 1972
  24. Original
  25. i finally went to bar bill around a month ago, and was a little disappointed. 7/10. Went with medium hot. I always go with some variation of hot, no matter where I go. The flavor had something in it that just didn't sit well with me, or maybe it was the bleu cheese? They also weren't really crispy at all. I want my wings to be crispy, and I want them to have a flavor profile that reflects something similar to Franks and butter. I don't know what spices some of these places are throwing in them to make them "better" but I don't need them. fwiw, i think the sauce is easy enough to nail for most places. the biggest thing is what places cook them to the right crispiness every time.
