  1. Might help if we didnt' burn through all our timeouts before our last possession as well.
  2. i agree with this. I don't blame josh for a single game or a single play. he is the only reason we are where we are. but if he is going to be the best in the game--a real mvp candidate, he needs to steal one or two of these for us, even with everything going against him. maybe it's just a numbers game, and at some point he will rattle off 5 straight wins in situations like this. Again, i send no blame his way, but would just like to see him steal one of these games.
  3. I get told I look like him. Including my mother saying "Look, it's your father." my father looks nothing like him, btw... 🤔 i have a full head of hair though
  4. i think the run pass balance is fine, though sometimes we call a run at the worst moment. We should be using screens and qb runs for our "run game" in certain situations. We lose because we can't put the ball in the endzone. It's been comically bad this year. Oh, and the badly timed penalties. That's gotta be the coaching, right? Being prepared is the biggest thing BB's teams always have going for them.
  5. Daboll looks great when we are blowing the doors off of defenses, but when we can't move the ball, we just can't ever adjust.
  6. mcdermott is much better than daboll. McD is not BB, but nobody is. This is like steelers fans wanting tomlin to get the ax. great idea, but who out there is better?
  7. the strength of our team is completely neutralized. but "FOOTBALL WEATHER"
  8. these are the times you wonder you watch football.. misery
  9. these "Football weather" people are nuts. the only thing bad weather does is leave the game to chance. this is what you want if you are not the better team. The strength of our team is basically neutralized in this weather. but "football weather" okay. it's not 1972
  10. Original
  11. i finally went to bar bill around a month ago, and was a little disappointed. 7/10. Went with medium hot. I always go with some variation of hot, no matter where I go. The flavor had something in it that just didn't sit well with me, or maybe it was the bleu cheese? They also weren't really crispy at all. I want my wings to be crispy, and I want them to have a flavor profile that reflects something similar to Franks and butter. I don't know what spices some of these places are throwing in them to make them "better" but I don't need them. fwiw, i think the sauce is easy enough to nail for most places. the biggest thing is what places cook them to the right crispiness every time.
  12. I feel like this ALMOST 100% of the time. The one exception was the Booger crew during the Texans game. It was the first time and only game I saw with them.
  13. I think we looked like this last year, and then in December we had some of our most ridiculous games to put the stats over the top. Off the top of my head, San Fran, Pittsburgh, Denver, Miami and New England were all near the end...and we put up NUMBERS.
  14. Greatest show on turf type offenses rules supreme in today's NFL. Too much is left to chance playing in the elements. But it's what we will have to deal with.
  15. We need a dome. Football is a far different game than it was in the 1990s. Crappy weather doesn't favor a team that lives in those elements. It favors the team that has better personnel for it. In today's NFL, teams are not meant to be built around being good in this stuff. Our team is certainly not built for it. You know, among the other 99 reasons we look like garbage today.
  16. i thought we played like crap until the last half of the 4th qtr. my memory could be faulty. I seem to remember Allen not being able to get anything done for the majority of the game.
  17. He is a forever legend here just because of that Mayne Event skit he did.
  18. i don't see any possible way he can keep his job without a major turn around this year. Does Daboll take any blame for this? How much power of suggestion does he have with the linemen, their positions, and the overall schemes that are called based on our talents?
  19. there is no focus because basically every play is a fire play that needs constant improvisation. it is impossible to get into any kind of rhythm with the offensive line playing the way it does.
  20. you're tellin me. The dude is almost 45 and I've given up hope of him ever starting to suck. if we had to play them in the SB, it would be a stressful 2 week lead up, and I wouldn't be able to handle it if we lost. I do not want that game!!!!!!!!
  21. when you never have a chance to get into a rhythm, there are going to be more mistakes on plays that should be made. By the end of the game, he probably has PTSD expecting somebody to be in his grill immediately. Whatever the case, josh usually learns from his mistakes. This game is not his fault, but he'll learn from those mistakes, and he'll win similar games in the future.
  22. I feel similar to op, but this is far from the worst spot ive been. I used to look forward to Sundays all week, but sometime around Trent Edwards, that went away, and I took my SUndays back for several years. I watched the bills games when I could, but if there was something else that needed done, I started doing it. Allen changed that. Even in his first year, when they lost a ton, he made them fun to watch. That is still the case, but we have been slowly circling the drain all season, and it peaked today. I left my house towards the end of the third and made a trip to home depot to get started on some important winter prep projects. I'll be back in front of the tv again next week, but my devotion is not unconditional anymore. another couple games like we saw today, and I will start looking for a new hobby. There was a time when watching Peyton Manning kept my interest in football. I don't even watch games outside the bills until december now, when im trying to figure out who is who; what is what. NOthing that happens to that point really matters anyway.
  23. Can't get mad at josh for a game like this. the offensive line is a sieve and this problem has been boiling at the surface all season. Every game, there is more tape on how to attack us, and we are doing nothing to make adjustments. and we knew the line was a problem after the post season. no excuses. we didn't even attempt to address it.
  24. BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAS!
  25. Flutie was absolutely putrid that season. It is no better than 50/50 that puts more points on the board against that titans defense.
