  1. I'm sure he will. He is stronger than hell, imagine if he puts on 10lbs. If he really works at it he could come in at 233-235 next year.
  2. Shady has been such a good character since he came here, I wondered if he would even want to play for a city like Buffalo when we first traded for him but he has been nothing but a leader and a superstar on a roster devoid of talent. Worth every penny.
  3. Will fire him in 2 years and then we'll switch over to a 3-4 defense after drafting for a 4-3 for 2 years.
  4. Probably but it's impossible to say, Beane doesn't have a track record to really go off of but Dorsey is a known commodity.
  5. I don't think he'll play again, I knew he wouldn't as soon as I heard it was a spinal injury, that never ends good. He'll likely be in chronic pain for the rest of his life, very sad. He was playing for a new contract, it's unfortunate he did not cash in before getting hurt, I hope the NFL compensates him handsomely.
  6. Quarterback, if the talent level around him sucks, sign a veteran QB in FA while we redshirt the rookie. Bradford, Keenum or Bridgewater.
  7. I think it'd be near impossible to hurt Gronk unless you go full speed and torpedo your helmet into his knee. They do deserve some form of payback, Brady would be ideal.
  8. I hope they knock Brady out next game, put a bounty on him, try to end his career. Hit him early and often.
  9. I'd really like a second RB behind him though. We really missed Gilislee, we need insurance and more importantly we need to spread the load so Shady doesn't breakdown in another year or so but absolutely, we should keep him. Great player.
  10. You don't think players are using HGH? No offense brother but that's pretty naive. God knows what else they're using. Look at James Harrison's workout videos on YT, he is doing hip thrusts with 9 45lbs plates on each side and he's 39. No way that's natural.
  11. Even if we draft a solid prospect, do you really think Dennison can develop him?
  12. If they're not draft busts. With our luck, a franchise QB will be sitting there when we pick and we'll trade out again.
  13. Meaningless? Finishing 9-7 versus 6-10 may be a determining factor if free agents want to come here or not. If you ever played sports, losing is not fun for players, it affects their attitude long term on whether or not they'll want to re-sign here or maybe flip sides and go with the Patriots.
  14. Wrong. We could have had Deshaun Watson, we did not take him, which points at our FO not knowing how to evaluate talent. I also think Mahomes is going to be a good one but that once again is just my opinion and NOT a fact.
  15. Plenty of decent teams have found QBs outside of the top 10, obviously it would be ideal to have our pick of the litter but my point is, we likely won't have our pick of the litter, even if we lose out. Moving up 4-5 spots won't put any of the top guys in range. Once again, good teams evaluate talent and add good players in every round of the draft. If we have to rely on having a top draft pick every year to rebuild, we aren't going anywhere anyways.
  16. People seem confused by my post, let me clear things up. Since when has the higher draft pick done anything for us? We've had high draft picks going on for 18 years, what do we have to show for? I'm rooting for 9-7, establish a winning culture. That's more important than 4-5 spots in the draft and besides, if McD and Beane are good evaluators, it shouldn't matter where we draft. The playoff teams seem to add talent while picking bottom in the draft.
  17. I'd rather we finish off strong. I think a 9-7 record boosts morale for next year, at least something for us to build on.
  18. I wouldn't trade the house for a QB, he will likely fail because of his supporting cast. If one falls to us in the 1st, absolutely go for it. Not to state the obvious at this point but I think we should move on from Taylor and add a veteran QB as a bridge to the rookie QB. I'd keep my eye on Minnesota, Teddy Bridgewater and Sam Bradford would be an excellent option for the short term.
  19. Disagree. Wentz is a franchise QB but still very very young. Once you have a franchise QB, I think WR becomes the most important position for a football team. With that said, 13m a year is a huge number for a guy that has battled injuries but it does ensure that Wentz has a reliable weapon.
  20. It was shut down because after 17 years of no playoffs, the anger started to snowball to the point where censorship could no longer contain fan's collective thought processes.
