  1. It's absolutely worth it. If we can take this year's best QB I think it would be worth a blockbuster deal to get him. We have plenty of cap space to build the OL in free agency.
  2. Last I checked, Jerry Jones and the Cowboys have a couple Super Bowl rings and they're set to go again in the future with Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott. Say what you want about Jones but he knows football, you may not like him as a person or his personality but he is a good owner. As far as Belichick and Kraft go, do you really believe Terry should treat McDermott the same way as Kraft does with Belichick? That's an asinine statement. I'd rather have an owner that collectively studies the game so he can grow and hire better personnel in the future, not some guy that sits there idly hoping for the best.
  3. That's unfortunate, I get that vibe too. I don't think Terry has a clue. Unfortunately for us, that probably means we're probably not going to win a Super Bowl anytime soon.
  4. What does that mean? Of course he's the owner, my major concern with Terry is whether or not he understands football because if he doesn't he is essentially going to hire people with eyes of faith instead of interviewing candidates based off of knowledge and facts. Trusting people at face value is something that should not be done. The less hands on Terry is, the lesser our chances of finding competent coaches and a franchise QB. It's essentially just going to be luck of the draw, kind of like shooting at a target blindfolded.
  5. How does he know he is hiring and trusting the right people then? You need an owner who knows X's and O's otherwise he's not going to bring the right people in.
  6. It's pointless to worry about any other position until we have a franchise QB on the roster.
  7. How to fix the team? The quickest and fastest way to do that is to draft a franchise QB. Going on 18+ years since we've had one. I think even a teenager or small child could have drafted somebody to build around by now. It's up to Terry Pegula to find a QB and coaching staff to be successful. Don't just rely on willfully ignorant advisors like Russ Brandon, Doug Whaley and now Brandon Beane. It's up to Terry to sit down and watch a **** ton of film with Beane over the next 6 months.
  8. I'm honestly surprised this hasn't happened sooner. The team quit?? We completely over performed for the first quarter of the season. We have a roster full of nobody's, I expected 4 wins max, we're probably going to finish with 8.
  9. Taylor is a very good game manager, will never cost you the game but will never win in a shoot out. He is a real good manager, definitely above average, dare I say it, pretty good but will never be a franchise guy although I really like him as a player and a person.
  10. Wow. Probably finished. Still pain after 10 months? I'd still offer the Colts a 2nd, just in case.
  11. In another 30 years I think the NFL will be dead. I think the MLB will turn into an even more lucrative business than it already is. Wouldn't surprise me to see the MLB triple in size.
  12. I don't think it's possible for black people to oppress white people, sure there may be cases where black people have acted racistly against whites, sure there are cases where black people have raped, beaten, robbed and murdered us but at the end of the day we are 70% of the population and many Hispanics identify as white and they are the second largest demographic, black people are what? 13.5% of the population? In another 30 years they'll probably be fully integrated in through breeding with whites and other races. The racial disparities in this country will work itself out over time.
  13. I'm still not sure if OJ did it, Glen Rodgers the serial killer admitted to killing Nicole Brown after a robbery went wrong.
  14. It's really hard to predict when and where to draft players at positions of need. For instance, we need a franchise QB in the worst way but we may have a situation like in Cincinnati where AJ Green goes 1st and Dalton in the 2nd and the same could be said about RB like what happened in Dallas with Zeke and Prescott. There is no way to know how it'll play out but as of now I think QB, RB and WR all need to be upgraded, in that order preferably but stay true to the board. Edit: We need a burner, I don't think Matthews is any good, he didn't do well with Wentz, he won't do well anywhere else. Kelvin Benjamin is our #1 now. Our priority needs to be to add a burner on the outside and put Zay in the slot.
  15. I'd absolutely offer them a 1st round pick for Luck. Give them a conditional pick in 2019. 2018 - 1st 2019 - conditional 3rd that can become a 2nd.
  16. Tyrod is a bridge QB, a mobile QB that relies on his feet. Unfortunately for Tyrod, he is 28 and not a spring chicken anymore. If he wants to be an NFL QB at 30+ he will have to develop into more of passer because it is wishful thinking to assume that he will be ripping off huge runs at that age. Odds are Tyrod will probably be a very good backup when he reaches 30, I don't think his game will translate beyond that point. Maybe we can squeeze 2 more good years out of him while we develop an hier behind him.
  17. I'd sign Brown, Matthews and Gaines, the rest I really don't care about.
  18. The Kelvin Benjamin trade was a parting gift from Carolina to McDermott and Beane. A 3rd round pick for a proven commodity and to top it off, I don't think KB has even scratched the surface as far as potential is concerned. He goes to a team with players and management that he is familiar with so he should be up to speed quick. He knows he is wanted here by everyone in the building and the best part is, he has potential, a great attitude, he wants to be here and he's buying in.
  19. I would be surprised if we beat the Saints, it's possible but I don't think this is a favorable matchup for us. Then again this team has completely outperformed any expectations I had going into the season so I won't rule them out.
  20. QB, RB, WR, DT, LB I think QB, RB and WR are the three most important positions in football.
  21. I found TBD from my father to read Bills news, that was 10 years ago. I just signed up to the forums yesterday. I wouldn't say I'm an expert, just an average guy that watches football. I doubt I'll make much of a contribution but I do like coming here just to read.
