  1. Darnold isn't a Matt Ryan or Matt Stafford prospect, that's for sure, but I think he is tough. Allen and Jackson couldn't complete 60% of their passes, so they're risky to me. Mayfield doesn't have ideal size, I like him, just not completely sold. Rosen is Jay Cutler v2.0 except I think he is injury prone.
  2. My first option is Sam Darnold, he's the only QB I'd give up draft picks for, I don't like Rosen. Mayfield and Allen are risky, Lamar Jackson I'm not interested in.
  3. If he really wanted to throw people for a loop, why didn't he say he was open to a trade down? That would screw with the heads of FO personnel around the league.
  4. No on Daniels, but yes on Wynn. Yes on Wynn even if Price never got hurt.
  5. He's not making big money. How much of the problem was Jacksonville? Leonard Fournette rushed for 3.9 ypc and he barely managed that. Through the first 8 games Fournette was averaging 3.4 ypc, I know this cause I followed him. So a top 5 RB that should probably be getting 5.0 ypc couldn't even break 4.0.
  6. It's an ok signing, don't understand the hate, we can still draft a guy or sign an undrafted guy to develop.
  7. Not even close to Gronk. Maybe in the 4th.
  8. What I take from this is, he isn't going to trade the farm to Indy or the Giants, but I think if a top 3 QB falls to 10, I have a hard time believing he doesn't move up. If Darnold is there at 10 I'm going to break my TV if we don't go up.
  9. Worst case scenario is we give up a first for Nick Foles IMO and remember, just cause there is 5-6 highly rated QBs, it doesn't mean that the folks at OBD have them all rated highly, so keep that in mind as well. I think it's very possible only 2 QBs go in the top 10, that's the best case scenario. Darnold, Rosen, Allen or Mayfield are there at 10. Could happen.
  10. I really want Rashaan Evans in the first, if he is gone I'd take Josey Jewell in the second.
  11. I'd be a little upset about that. He won't beat out Clay and we already have O'Leary who is pretty decent.
  12. I pick Sam Darnold, he needs a year on the bench though. I think he is the safest QB in the draft, reminds me a lot of Tony Romo. Josh Allen could be the best QB in the draft, but he is way too risky to trade up for so I choose Sam Darnold.
  13. Am I reading this wrong? It says the cap is 177m and it has us listed at 188m. How do I read this?
  14. I'd love to have him back.
  15. I'd wait before I gave up a pick for Foles, if say Darnold and Allen are the only two QBs that go 1-9 and we get to choose between Baker Mayfield or Josh Rosen, you get on the phone with Oakland immediately and package 21 and 22 to secure your franchise QB. Now if Darnold, Allen, Rosen and Mayfield all get drafted in the top 10, I'd offer Philly something for Foles. Maybe a 2nd round pick and draft Mason Rudolph in the 2nd round on top of that. 21 22 2nd Rudolph 2nd Foles We would go into 2018 with a strong QB stable, capable of winning right now and in the future.
  16. Good on Jemele Hill for clearing that up. I agree with everything she said about Trump, but I'm glad she didn't accuse Berman of racism, I think that would have made her look bad. Jemele Hill has a new fan.
  17. Harrison Philips and Josey Jewell would be the ideal 2nd round for me. Put 21 and 22 towards QB.
  18. Kyle Williams comes back for another year please. Draft Taven Bryan to start next to him, all DL issues solved. Shaq will rebound, he is still a good prospect.
  19. Taven Bryan Josey Jewell Roquan Smith Isaiah Wynn
  20. If I had to pick which QB is most likely to bust, it'd have to be Lamar Jackson. His feet may carry him for awhile, but I don't think he's very smart and I don't think he'll mature as a passer. Teams will bottle him up the same way they do with Tyrod and he won't be able to beat you with his arm.
  21. I think Rudolph is there at 21, I also think 4 QBs going in the top 10 is highly unlikely, though I could be wrong. I have no special powers, I can't see into the future, just guessing.
  22. I'm not talking about skill, demeanor, intelligence, I'm talking about sheer slinging a football around, one of the best I've ever seen in my entire life. Your criticisms of everything else though is understandable and fair, I understand where you're coming from. Do you remember Drew Henson? He threw a pretty darn good ball too, but he couldn't piece it all together too. He threw such a nice ball that Tom Brady was his backup, it could be a similar situation, but I do think Allen is immeasurably better than Henson, but both had/have immense arm talent with concerns about the rest of their game.
  23. He is going to be a beast, he could probably be a 3-4 DE, but I'd love him next to Kyle Williams inside, I'd love him in the 1st round, not a chance he makes it to RD2 like many thought, he is going to be good.
  24. No offense, but this is stupid. Arm talent means exactly what it says. The ability to pinpoint a bomb 50 yards down the field while running for your life. The ability to laser a football into a window that 99% of the starting QBs in the NFL couldn't do. The talent is unquestionable, Allen has as good of an arm if not better than most of the Golden Jacket QBs you see in Canton. Whether you want to criticize him for other things, that's fine and I may agree on some of those concerns, but arm talent is what it is.
