  1. Where did it say not bring in good players? I'm concerned with cap space, team identity and the logistics between tying up 20 million between Benjamin and Richardson on a run first team in a stadium that has conditions not conducive to a passing team. As far as QB and the draft is concerned, i dont see us trading the farm for a QB, we will be building through the draft. McD said that we are not as close as people think and Beane has said publicly he has no intention of moving up. We are not a pass first team, to tie up 20 million on two WRs (and to borrow your words) is 'ridiculous' and 'stupid'. We aren't going to win a championship as a pass first team, we need to build up our running attack and defense. I'm fine with adding a burner, but I'm not okay with tying up that much money on receivers for a team that plays in our type of weather and conditions. Once again, our idea on how to build a team is dramatically different.
  2. He is a good player, no doubt, I just think he is going to get over paid and I think our ideas on how to build a team are different.
  3. So we pay Richardson 10 million a year and then what do we do with Benjamin? He will easily get over 10 million a year. We are talking about 20 million minimum tied up in WR with no QB on a run first team playing in a stadium that's notorious for bad weather. I'm all ears to drafting a WR, but Richardson seems like the type of player to bring in if you're one piece away, not for a team that is in full rebuild mode.
  4. I respect your opinion, but Richardson is going to cost a lot, I just don't think it's wise to tie up that much money into it without a bonafide QB. We already have Benjamin, he runs through 2018, put that money towards an extension for him. Draft a guy and develop Zay Jones, I like Equanimeous St. Brown in the 2nd round.
  5. Why can't we do both? We have 4 top picks, say one of the top 4 falls to 10-15, we could trade up from 21 while keeping most of our picks. We could walk away with Baker Mayfield and still have 22 to spend on a defensive prospect like Vita Vea.
  6. Love the first three picks, though I don't know much about Frank Ragnow.
  7. Stranger things have happened. Will Sam Darnold's turnovers cause him to slide? Allen's accuracy? Mayfield's character? Rosen's attitude?
  8. Neanderthals actually were good looking and highly intelligent, they were largely responsible for intellectual growth through genetic mutations. They are extinct because they were to successful for their own good, they were essentially bred out of existence. White people get their red and blonde hair from Neanderthals, but I get what you are trying to say.
  9. Another thing is, this draft is really rich at positions of need. We could probably add 3-4 key pieces to our front seven if we play our cards correctly. I think a good QB will be there when we pick or within striking distance without having to give up too much. It's possible we get our QB and rebuild our front seven entirely.
  10. I do not want us to sign a WR to big money with no quarterback on the roster, talk about cart before the horse.
  11. Marrone, without question. I'd rather have a disciplinarian than a coach who is trying to be buddy buddy with his players.
  12. If he is an exceptional QB, height won't matter, but it will take more effort to overcome.
  13. Is this a draft class like we had with Eli, Rivers and Roethlisberger? Or is this a draft where there is no elite QB so fans insert names interchangeably?
  14. You're right, Lamar Jackson is a super accurate QB! His 57% career completion percentage is not a reflection of him as a passer or his accuracy at all! Of course it was drops. Better? You're essentially a pathological liar.
  15. Keyword *adjusted* completion percentage. It's like the affirmative action of QB stats. You think Jackson is equal or more accurate than Darnold, I don't. I don't care if you got a problem with it, it's the truth. Darnold is more accurate than Jackson. 64% vs 57%, stop white knighting and 'adjusting' stats. I could be a millionaire right now if I 'adjusted' certain circumstances in my life too.
  16. You are saying Jackson is more accurate than Darnold, I disagree and I'm not even going to debate it because how !@#$ing stupid that is, there is no debate. It's like arguing with Geno Smith and trying to convince him that the earth isn't flat. Not worth my time.
  17. If anybody is hurting their credibility it's you. You're the one saying Lamar Jackson is more accurate than Sam Darnold. That's your stance buddy, those are your words. Keep speaking the 'truth' though and the 'facts' (lol). Bottom line is Darnold anticipates his throws better than Jackson, has a way better throwing motion than he does too.
  18. You try so hard to disagree with me yet you say pretty much the exact same thing as me!
  19. No, no, no. Enough of your dishonesty, I'm not going off of 'what ifs', fact is Darnold completed 64.9%, Jackson completed 57%. No bull **** what if garbage.
  20. Why were the balls dropped? Miscommunication? Ball placement? The receiver wasn't in the right place? Jackson's timing? Jackson's accuracy? Did you watch every drop and study each play or are you going off of a statistical nerd's psychobabble? Bottom line is, when Jackson throws the ball it just looks weird, Darnold looks way more natural.
  21. They're all busts waiting to happen, that's the problem. There is no undisputed alpha QB of the class, there are holes in every single one of their games. The game plan to beat Jackson is the same as it is to beat Tyrod, nothing changes.
  22. Are you saying Jackson is a better QB than Darnold, where are you going with this?
  23. Lamar Jackson will never be a natural pocket passer. He may have success for a few years as a gimmicky QB.
