I don't think Rudolph will ever be 'elite' but he has the potential to be a top 10-15 QB. Certainly doesn't have the mobility of Michael Vick nor does he have the elite arm talent of Rodgers or Brady but he is a smart, pocket QB that will never be great but good enough to build a team around and certainly good enough to win games with.

He's going to be gone by the time we pick. I'd take a chance on Allen, sit him down for a year behind Alex Smith hopefully. Take Allen or Rudolph with our 1st, send our 3rd to KC for Smith, double up on QB.

Mason Rudolph has always been my guy, he is #3 for me behind Rosen and Darnold but my gut instinct is telling me that Allen would thrive in Buffalo.

This is why the Giants have been historically great, hires like this. All starts with the ownership.

I think Rudolph has a higher floor than any other QB not named Rosen or Darnold. He could be sitting right in our laps with that 1st pick, we won't have to move or do anything, use the other picks to build a solid team around him.

I'll have to check him out when I get time.

If Baker Mayfield comes in at 6'2 and 10 inch hands, along with an incredible wonderlic, I'd feel a lot better about him. I like the fact that he's a rhythm passer, which is why I like Rudolph and dislike Allen and Jackson. 1.) Rosen 2.) Darnold 3.) Rudolph 4.) Mayfield 5.) Allen 6.) Jackson We'll see, it's still really early to say but that's my humble opinion for now and is subject to change..

Losing Gilislee really hurt us, I think RB#2 is a pretty big need. What better way to take pressure off your QB?

Jets and Dolphins don't really matter anymore. My main fear is that New England becomes a franchise like Pittsburgh and Green Bay, a franchise that is good from here until the end of time.

There's only two RBs I'd take RD1, Saquon Barkley and Derrius Guice, I'm not interested in anyone else. Not because I'm against drafting RB high but because I genuinely feel there are only two that will completely dominate at the next level. I'm hoping for a QB with that 1st pick, I think we all are. Wouldn't mind another WR, LB or DE with that second 1st. I'm hoping Cordy Glenn is back, dealing him would be a mistake. DT I hope we address in the 2nd round or later along with a couple serviceable vets in free agency.

Cheers buddy. And for the record, I'm not necessarily against Allen, I just want to see how the process plays out. His arm is undeniable, just a few red flags. Now if this guy scored a 40 on the wonderlic and killed it during the interviews, I would be 100% on board with Allen. Once again, I can't think of a prospect with a better arm than Allen, maybe even going back 15 years. Allen would be in the top 5 of all QBs in the NFL as far as arm talent goes, I just want to see how he handles the mental aspects of the game.

Oh, OK. Rudolph was inaccurate in a few games burn him at the stake. Allen gets a pass though for having a CAREER 56% average.

Rudolph took care of the ball more and he did thread the needle more often, he may not have as good a deepball as Allen but Rudolph is a much more accurate passer, that's a fact. Short and intermediate throws, Rudolph wins in spades. Turnovers and accuracy is a huge issue with Allen. What was it? 20+ turnovers the last 2 years with Allen? No thanks.

You mentioned Rodgers, I mentioned Russell, it's just a gentle reminder that this kid is 50/50. The stats are not there, there is not much to go off of. QB is more of a mental battle than a physical one so let's let the process play out. His turnovers are a huge concern but by all means if McD interviews the kid and feels like he is smart and can use his brain to make good decisions and put that ball where it needs to be, draft him. I'm just pumping the brakes on this, I'm not the kind of guy who likes to rush into things, especially a prospect with big question marks.

Do you remember JaMarcus Russell? He could throw a ball 70 yards on his knees, he had great 'potential' too. Once again, I want to see how he does at the combine, the wonderlic and during interviews. His physical abilities mean nothing if he is a dum dum. Let the facts come out before you compare him to Rodgers. I like Rudolph, most people are going crazy over Mayfield and Allen.

Sometimes they snap because of bad owners, sometimes they snap simply because of mental disorders. Humans suffer from mood disorders such as Bipolar, Schizophrenia and psychopathy why can't a dog? With that said, do not ever own a dog unless you 100% intend to be the alpha of the group. If you do not establish yourself as the pack leader, your dog will walk all over you. Some dogs are not meant for snuggling, they are meant as service dogs. German Shepherds and Pitbulls should only be used by law enforcement or military. If you want a snuggle buddy, get a golden retriever, you never hear about them mauling people.

That's going to determine whether or not he is a 1st round pick or a 2nd. Physically he is on par with Big Ben but once again, his stats do suck really bad but if he blows coaches away in interviews with a high understanding of the game, he will be drafted very high. It's the difference between him being Big Ben or Paxton Lynch. Only the FO will know, the talent is there, no doubt but at this point it's about what's 6 inches between his ears. If checks out mentally, the pick is much less risky.

This draft reminds me of the 1983 draft with Elway, Kelly and Marino. Rosen and Darnold will be franchise players and I think between Rudolph, Allen, Jackson and Mayfield, odds are I think there willbe a third franchise QB somewhere in there.

I am really curious what Allen scores on the wonderlic, it would kind of give us an idea on whether or not he is just a towering QB with a big arm or a guy with a great understanding of the game. That's not something fans know by watching a few games or highlight videos, the tools are there but once again, what's his football IQ? This is where McBeane and McD try to get a good feel for him on the mental aspect of the game and if he does check out, no way he lasts to our pick.

Kind of goes to show you that Buffalo isn't necessarily the place where people's career's go to die, Buffalo is what you make it to be.
