  1. Bortles sucks. He's worse than Josh Allen. Why in the world would we even want him???
  2. I never watch unless the Bills are involved anyways, but how boring to watch the Patriots in the SB. Zzzzzzzzzzzzz…...
  3. I thought Tony Green was the best.
  4. This seems odd. I'm happy for him, but I thought the knock on him was that he never learned the playbook.
  5. I don't knw if we should sign him to a big contract. I'd rather save that money for a LT, C or WR on offense or DT, CB or LB on defense.
  6. I was amazed when they took him over Rosen. Admittedly Rosen had a difficult rookie year, but his accuracy is way, way better than Allen's and he's still a rookie. I just don't see a very bright future for our Josh. Sooner or later, Bills fans will start to realize this. I can't believe they thought he'd be #3 overall. Have they actually watched where most of his passes end up? He misses receivers by 5 ft when they are only 20 ft away from him.
  7. Just imagine if he could throw accurately on a consistent basis! He'd be pretty good.
  8. Not bad, OP, but we aren't drafting a PK. The reason Hauschka struggled at the end of the season (obviously)was the lower back injury. I'm thinking we might grab a new punter in round 6 or 7, though.
  9. It's nice having elite athletes on your team, but I just wish we had an elite QB instead. I just hope he can find a way to get better accuracy from his throwing arm to go along with his arm strength. I've never seen that done, though. Maybe Josh will be the first ever. Arm accuracy is something that you either wake up with or you don't. Can Josh Allen be the exception to the rule?
  10. Chan was a great OC. His big problems were that he fell in love with bad QB's and when he was in Buffalo, we had the worst defense ever. He was a brilliant playcaller, which is an underappreciated art in the NFL today. He was the only OC in the NFL that knew how to make Spiller a huge threat. I was frankly surprised that the Jets didn't sign CJ while Chan was there. He should be 66 or 67 right now, so he may be retired for good.
  11. I hope he has the good sense to retire while his body is still in reasonably good shape so he can enjoy life after football.
  12. True, but once you add those extra pounds, it gets so much harder to take them off. Not only that, but as my doctor says, "Taking the extra pounds off is the easy part. Keeping them off is a real challenge. Your body naturally seeks it's highest weight." I should add that taking the extra pounds off isn't easy at all. I lost nearly 50 lbs within the last 2 years and put it all back on. I had to just stay hungry all the time to lose that weight. It was driving me crazy being so hungry all the time.
  13. I know I said it's too early, but this is interesting. Bills take Jawaan Taylor, OT, Florida. I like the pick.
  14. Overpaid. He had some good moments, but he's still way overpaid.
  15. Throw accurate passes on a consistent basis.
  16. I want a franchise LT and C at the very least. I don't care how we get them.
  17. He's a DE and we already have 3 fairly good ones on the roster. Makes no sense.
  18. Mock drafts are pointless now. We have a lot of money for FA's, so we don't even know what holes we'll have at draft time. That said, we can't go wrong with OL help unless 3 very good OL shake loose, but that's unlikely with the league wide OL talent drought. I don't think Phillips was all that great as a rookie. He wasn't terrible, but I think we can do better without breaking the budget and a beast of a DT wouldn't hurt us any with our perennially poor run defense.
  19. Well, there goes my answer. Kelley would be the obvious choice. Everyone else would be a distant 2nd.
  20. I'd be thrilled. He would instantly be the best player on our roster by a considerable margin. I don't want to get my hopes up too high, but what would we have to give up? Would it be worth it? McCoy is way better than anyone else on our roster, though. I could see this defense playing at a whole new level with him in the lineup and he fits the plan.
  21. I'd love to see Spain (G), Morse (C), Williams (OT) and Jarrett (DT) in Bills blue next year. Unlikely, but maybe 1 or 2 from that list?
  22. It would not surprise me to see Dawkins make that proverbial year 2 jump in year 3. I was disappointed in him this year.
  23. He sucks. He sucked in Buffalo. He sucked in Jacksonville and he will suck in Green Bay. HUGE mistake by the Packers.
  24. Accuracy is the single most important attribute of an NFL QB. Period. I'll grant you that it is not the only one or even the only necessary one for success, but that's just the way it is and Allen does not have accuracy. You either wake up with that or you don't and Josh doesn't. Sorry. Call it "precision" or "accuracy". Whatever you like. He throws off target even when receivers are just a few feet away. On deep throws, he often missed by several yards. He forces receivers to adjust to the ball and make difficult catches and often robs them of the ability to make more RAC yards. Flame away all you want. I'm just telling it like it is.
  25. Very accurate assessment. We have a QB that can run, but can't hit the side of a barn with his throws. Mayfield was the best in this class and it's not even close. Allen only hit over 50% of his passes in 2 games this season! I know people will flame me because they refuse to see it, but they'll get it sooner or later. Meanwhile, I'd take any of the other QB's that were drafted in round 1 over Allen.
